Hi Berean. Thee are some pearls in your last post. Yes salvation was planned right at the beginning because it would be inevitiable thst some beings would rebel because if free will and yes free will is a must if you want sons instead of robots.
But I would like to add that the whole reason for creation is because of the Son. God created all…[Read more]

Carmel. Which one of these scriptures if any is your no1 bible verse that proves the Trinity?

Much of the time, truth is self-evident. When you give a person that level of truth or a clear example of such, you can then tell if they love the truth or prefer to believe they are correct at all cost. I totally lack all respect for people who do the latter.

So it just comes down to your lack if understanding danny. Msny things we observe are not intuitive till we understand the science behind it.
For example, a 150 ton plane flying in the air. A helicopter hovering on the spot. A 200,000 ton cruise ship floating on water when a simple hammer sinks.

Not God but God’s Son.
The business IMAGE of the invisible Gof.

THAT THEY MAY KNOW THEE, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
One is the ONLY TRUE GOD
The other is JESUS CHRIST, the one whom the true God sent.
God and his Son.

I was clear about how we discover truth. I gave a few examples. I still believe what I said. Further I feel that uou have little respect for scripture.

I agree Berean.

FORGET SCRIPTURE!
Scripture, logic, and history all disprove the Trinity.
You cannot apply much if any physical science to an eternal God who is Spirit.
So science doesn’t have anything to say about the Trinity.

So, I return the question to you.
Do you really care about the truth?Yes I care about the truth very much.
All the research I have done points to the heliocentric model.
Further, all the so-called flat earth proofs have been debunked.
Nothing is outstanding that I know of.
Flat Earth lost this debate. There is no proof, neither…[Read more]

What do you do if you don’t understand a Bible verse?
Throw the whole Bible away? Of course not. What’s your no1 flat earth bible verse.
We will look at it together.Proclaimer replied to the topic Only begotten/monogenes in the forum Bible Texts & Translations 3 years, 8 months ago
Even a child knows that the child is the same type as their father,
I’m not disagreeing with that. If he was born from God he should by all accounts have his nature. That would make him divine also.
Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant,…[Read more]

…therefore the only son would not be the prototype.
Not so. In Greek, the word for firstborn is protótokos which is where we get our word ‘prototype’. In English, the word prototype is taken from the Greek, prototokos. It means the first or the basis for a new design.
Regardless, God was not born. The Son was born from God. He came from God.…[Read more]

Not sure which is best. While revelation from God is the best, it is open to controversy. Sometimes people say they get revelations from God when they are no such thing. Science is another way. Testing something continuously to see if it is always true. Of course, science is only good for physical things. Common sense is also another way to…[Read more]

Understanding God is not for the intellectual, but everyone. A child can believe in the one true God. People who say otherwise have to resort to mental gymnastics and claim they are more intelligent. But the wise of this world are fools.

I ALREADY DID IN THE POST#941611 ADDRESSED TO Jodi and Gene.
This wasn’t aimed at you. It was aimed at anyone who believes that the Word was WITH God.

There are a number of ways to confirm truth.
But the question is whether you believe scripture or not.

yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father.
Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only…[Read more]

Crucifying your own will is free will. It shows two things:
- That you have a will and it may not necessarily line up with God in all things. Having your own will means you can choose things you want.
- That you can see that God’s will is better do what he wants as opposed to what you want. You are freely giving up your desires or desire to not…

I haven’t watched this, but I imagine it will contain a lot of mental gymnastics in order to suit a narrative.
