Further, Muslims believe God has no son and they make up somewhere between one quarter to one third of the world’s population. They also have a high fertility rate guaranteeing they will be an even stronger force in the future. Even Europe could be Muslim majority in our lifetime.

Gene, all you have is an opinion in this matter. It sounds like something you could make up in 10 minutes.
Personally speaking, I do not fully subscribe to any end-time interpretation, but most have way more going for them than your opinion. And factoring in Islam certainly ticks most if not all the boxes.
We are already told what the Antichrist…[Read more]
Proclaimer replied to the topic Why is Jesus called the second Adam if you say he came from Adam??? in the forum Truth or Tradition 6 years, 5 months ago
Let me guess, without following this topic closely, the Ordinary Jesus Brigade is desperately trying to prove that Jesus is of Adam despite being called the Last Adam.
Some are of earthly Adam and others are of the the Last Adam from Heaven.
Why would those who follow the man from Heaven teach that their messiah is of Earth. Very telling isn’t it.

Father son and Holy Spirit are one it all makes sense to me now.
One in unity. The Father and the Son are one. Believers should also be one and one with both the Father and son. All one in God’s Spirit.
Trinity is misleading because it stipulates only 3 as one but then also confusingly states but each is 100 percent God. It is a made up…[Read more]

I wonder if anyone ever reads Jodi’s posts? I personally don’t read long-winded posts especially from people who cannot answer a simple yes or no to a fair question. I think dishonest people put the devil in the details. Just like a dodgy document written by a lawyer whose motive is to screw you over.

Obviously I’m making fun of the doctrine or notion that you guys are proposing. Jesus is the shepherd and those that hear his voice are the sheep. Simple as that. Saying Jesus is also a sheep in order to promote the Ordinary Jesus Brigade doctrine is what I’m mocking and rightly so.

T8……well then, did Jesus say, he was “alive” before Abraham, yes, no, please. Lets see how “honest” you are.
Before Abraham, I am is one such place.

T8…….Not a single scripture say Jesus “himself” , was or is the word of God.
Gene, Jesus partook of flesh. So he got a human body. The Word that was with God likely didn’t have that body. When you are born into this world, you get a body and you get a name. That explains it Gene. He didn’t exist as Jesus so no surprises there. This is what we d…[Read more]

Hi Berean.
The word ‘world’ or ‘earth’ is an interesting one because it may not mean what we think it means. For example, read this verse and think about the area it is talking about.
“He gave me this explanation: ‘The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the…[Read more]

So is the conclusion that Jesus is a sheep and a shepherd?

Anything is possible, but I believe most stars are suns (balls of gas). That said, angels are beings of light and it is said in scripture and they can certainly illuminate the earth with their glory.
After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority, and the earth was illuminated by his splendor.
It could also be…[Read more]

I have often wondered why angels and stars are sometimes synonymous. The morning stars for example. Then again, people are often likened to trees and empires are beasts. I guess there is a code to scripture, so the wicked will and proud will not understand.

No matter what your view of the earth is, no one is forced to believe that sun’s are going to collide with the earth.

So why wouldn’t we also presume that a third of the lights we call stars will be absent from the sky?
I wouldn’t rule that out either. If the atmosphere was darkened for whatever reason, it could block out a third of the stars and make the sun and moon black or red for thy matter.
It could be that as the atmosphere darkens, a third of the a…[Read more]

It does line up. When John sees rivers and trees, he is likely to use those words. When he sees lights falling from the sky, even if they are angels, he could well say stars as that is what it looks like. There are a number of possibilities here.

It could be as simple as angels being cast down and looking like lights from the sky coming toward Earth. In other words, the heavenly bodies made of rocks, gas, ice etc stay put. They may look like the other stars. After all they are just lights and angels are creatures of light.
