Hi Berean.
Ed J said the following which is really simple to understand. I wonder if you can compile your view into something this simple.
The Beast (islam) took over the holy land when the ‘abomination of desolation’ was set up in 688 AD and his rule
(over the holy land) ended when Israel took back over the holy land in 1948, which is exa…Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 6 years, 3 months ago

I totally agree with that.

As I said, I think Islam fits like a glove.
And Catholicism fits as the harlot. However, it could also be false religion as a whole because each head of the beast had a different religion of some kind from the Egyptians to the Ottomans.
I don’t see Catholism as the beast or one of the heads, but I am not ruling it out either.

Well yes, I think that is very possible.

The term “In the name of Allah” in Arabic resembles 666 (χξς) in Greek. It is possible that John actually saw in his vision the mark or name of Allah and it reminded him of the number 666 or he just wrote the symbol down as he saw it and translators wrote it down as 666 as it was the closest thing to the symbol
This view also could explain…[Read more]

The dome of the rock mosque (the abomination of desolation)
to the kabba (the image of the beast) in Mecca is 666 nautical miles.Ed J, this doesn’t really mean anything to me, but the other stuff you said about the 42 months and 1160 days or whatever it was seems significant to me if in deed these dates and times check out.
What do you think…[Read more]

Hi guys.
The Flat Earth is fraught with errors. But all these problems go away if you do one simple thing.
Instead of drawing longitudinal lines out to the edge of a disk, you simply draw them out toward the equator and back in toward a single point in the south. Boom, distances are correct, all people at the same latitude in the Southern…[Read more]

I am open minded about the end times, but to me, the things that stand out in history since these prophecies were given are the false / established / Catholic Church and Islam.
If I had to make a bet right now, the Islamic Empire fits too well into Bible prophecy as the latest head of the beast but doesn’t exist right now because the beast is…[Read more]

T8…..You don’t understand yourself,
Or you don’t understand what I understand about myself.
Something to think about Gene.

Your prophesying things that will cause people to be taken by suprise, when Jesus actually does return, by looking for thing to happen before his return that are not going to happen, until nearly a thousand years after his return.
Then you do not understand. I’m not sure I can help you.

Hi Gene.
The Bible is a tough book for the carnally minded. God hides his truth from the wicked and the self-appointed wise.
You will find that history is not really hidden, but prophecy is. For this reason, your examples about times falls flat.
Seek God first is my advice. When God shows you something, then feel free to share it as we will be…[Read more]

Problem is we have loads of false prophets who add their own spin and interpretations on all those scriptures.
The spin that I see is coming from you Gene. Others here are looking at how theories fit into the biblical time line and are posting indepth detail on that. All your doing is posting a simple hunch that you have that by the way has more…[Read more]

Good Ed J.
I’m keen to see it.

Wrong assumptions once again gene. This topic is called ‘Revelation 17:9-11’. That scripture gives us the whole picture. Seven kings / kingdoms with a mysterious eighth coming from the seventh or seven.
Daniel saw the part that was relevant to Nebuchadnezzar, so he is shown anything before him and isn’t given anything about the eighth.
Try to…[Read more]

T8……you missed the part where it says “and one IS” the one that “IS’ is the SIXTH KINGDOM ON THIS EARTH,
Absolutely didn’t miss it. You missed what I said.
Rome was the kingdom that is when the prophecy was given.
Rome is the sixth head.

Okay, while I agree with much of that video, I think the guy got something seriously wrong. While he believes the Ottoman Empire is the final part of the beast which I believe is certainly possible and a revived version of it to follow. However, he doesn’t consider the Roman Empire to be part of the Beast at all because he is forced into this…[Read more]

you people are mixing up the time line by not understanding that JOHN WAS SPEAKING FROM THE TIME OF THE Sixth kingdom Of Jesus Christ and the Saint’s.
The sixth kingdom and the kingdom at that time was Rome.

T8…..The prophesy of Daniel concerning the “Babyloian” Empire’s had nothing to do with , Egypt or Assyria, it only dealt with from the time of Neburchnasser
I see you’re struggling to keep up. Let me give you a helping hand here. The topic is called ‘Revelation 17:9-11’.
This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which…[Read more]
