Looks like the Flat Earthers lost this debate. But we all knew that would happen.
Like the Trinitarians who came here and lost too. They just left in the end rather than acknowledge the evidence and proof they were given.

Interesting story about the Bible in the Oval Office. It’s history and what it means today for America.

Take another scripture you wrongly interpret. “Abraham rejoiced to see” Christ’s day: “and he saw it, and was glad.” “Then said the Jews unto him, You art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. Then took they up stones to cast at him” (John 8:56-59).…

Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live for

Interesting. I always thought they were endemic to Australia, so I googled it. This is what I found:
The birds called magpies in Australia are, however, not related to the magpies in the rest of the world (see Australian magpie).
Australian fauna is amazing. They seem to have the equivalent animal elsewhere, but are not related whatsoever.

I think you will find that there are people who support other variations that also say that God told them his name was the other name.
What sets you apart from them? Why would God tell you and not the others who also claim God told them?

T8 and Edj……What Jodi does is bring all the scriptures in that, apply and back up to her points. Sometimes there are a lot of scriptures that back up a point. She spends a lot of time writing them down for us. Why blame her because you guys have such a short attintion spand? She is simply driving her points in , like a well hammered nail, w…

It keeps them occupied Ed J. And it is easy to converse around them.
I too never read Jodi’s posts. When I converse with her which isn’t often, I apply a rule. I read her fist point and answer it and completely ignore the rest.

Pilgrim, those scriptures you quote settles it. We are 9f the world or of Heaven. If we are the former, our God is the God of this age. The latter means we are children of the Most High.
If people believe their God is the God of this age, who are we to argue against them. It is from their own confession.

To those who say that YHWH is the god of this world, may I remind you:
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”God is without sin. Why would God be the God of a world that we are suppose to avoid lest we beco…[Read more]

It seems New Zealand has beaten Covid-19. No new cases for a few days now. The odd case might pop up, but they are always from known cases. But it is possible that we may never see another case here. But now that we are at Level 2 and things are slowly going back to normal, I can only hope this thing doesn’t spring up again.

Its pretty simple. Do not love the world because it is evil. If you love the world then you do not have the love of God. Thus, God is not the God of this world. Likewise, God is not the God of lies. There is another father, the Father of Lies. He is the one that blinds people to the truth. He is the prince of darkness dulling and hiding the light…[Read more]
