It's possible, although the NIV tranlates it as a guardian cherub as opposed to the guardian cherub. Not sure which is correct.Ezekiel 28:14 You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. Also, Is Michael a Cheribim, Seraphim? Does anyone know?Isaiah 6:2Above h…[Read more]

Quote I see a 'lake' as a defined area. I don't see the burning up of the earth as relating to that.2 Peter 3:7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. Nick, I suppose it depends where the comma is in the above verse. If the comma is placed after the…[Read more]

Hi Nick,Quote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 05 2005,01:27)Hi bic, Satan is reputed to have been a cherub so that makes them of the angelic order and they possibly are archangels since Satan seemed to have equivalent rights with other sons of God in Job 1-2, 2Peter 2 and Jude.Satan was the 'Chief Cherub'. So does the word 'chief' imply 'archangel'. That…[Read more]

Quote (liljon @ Mar. 05 2005,16:38)Holy spirit personal name is YahwehThat maybe so Lijon. But when the Trinity doctrine becomes the template that scripture must fit into, it nullifies the idea that one can search for truth from God.As it is written: “How can the man know the deep things of God unless God's Spirit reveals it”. Hi Nick, To me the following shows that no man will not live forever in a sinful state:Genesis 3:21-2421 The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. 22 And the LORD God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life…[Read more]

I have my belief regarding this and of course I am not only open to correction, but open to sharing my view too.Body = Physical vessel for a physical world. Or spiritual vessel for the spirtual realm.Soul = self, mind, identity.Spirit of man = God's Spirit or breath that makes the soul live and then the body is activated by reason of the mind. Nothing yet, but your view is certainly worth considering. There does however appear to be a sense of urgency regarding this desolation. Quote (bic @ Feb. 23 2005,22:37)The general consensus of Christianity (as I know it) agrees that the books of the Apocrypha do not belong as part of scripture. To Hi BenE,1 Peter 1:9for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls. If we relegate the soul to mean a combination of both spirit and body, then that hypothesis seems to infer that we become a new soul when we get a new body or a new spirit.I would have thought that soul is our identity, it is who we are and if God…[Read more]
