WJ,Holy cow! My brain hurts and may never recover. You put a lot of time and effort into that post so even though I do not completely agree with you I do appreciate all your thought and time. I hope that I am not intruding here by addressing your post since you specifically asked for t8's response. I would like to say a few things about it…[Read more]

Hi Pulivarthy,You are right that the son of God is called the “word of God”. I believe that He is the word of God in more than one ways. I believe that the first word of God spoken in the Bible referred to the Son of God, “Let there be light”. He was that light of life, physically and spiritually and still is. I think that was an announcement…[Read more]

Hi Adam,I believe that His “inner man” came down from heaven and dwelt within the body prepared for Him inside of Mary. The same part that ascended back into heaven when the body died.

Welcome Akara,It sounds like you are a “baby” christian, so to speak. All Christians start out that way. As babes in Christ we feed on milk, the basics of God and as we grow we start to chew on the tougher stuff. The book of John is a good place to start your search. There are some good basics there.LU

Hi 94,You are correct to say that He never sinned along the way amidst the temptations. You are also correct to say that we do sin along the way amidst the temptations. Another difference is that He is from above and we are from below yet both born into this world as an infant. You are also correct to say that in some ways we shall be like Him…[Read more]

Hi all,It is written that the Son of God is the author and perfector of faith. The author of faith, as I understand it is the originator of faith, the first to express such a thing. He is not merely the perfector of faith but the author as well, the first to express it. Heb 12:2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who…[Read more]

Hi Nick,Quote He did not lift himself up as anything special but his weak vessel allowed the full expression of God in him. Some say that Jesus was just a man, just like us, a weak vessel. To Nick and all,As you probably recall, Nick, I posted this info in the pre-existence thread a few days ago. Address this verse in 2 Peter 1:1. Is the NAV consistent in its translation of 2 Peter 1:1 and 2 Peter 1:11? The only thing that should change is the word “God” to “Lord”, if that is not the case, the translators, IMO are expressing a…[Read more]
