Quote (david @ July 25 2012,02:08)Lightenup, in another thread, you asked mike if he did any research on the Aramaic Bible in Plain English. Rather than asking people to do research, why not start a thread, and show us the line of evidence from this Bible. But, rather than just show scriptures, I think it would be a good idea to show the h…[Read more]

Jeremy, Did you see the first two posts that I wrote to you on the previous page. There were several places where YHWH was written in the NT. The HRV Bible has translated from the Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts which have clear indications where the name YHWH would be. Many scholars say that the NT was written in Aramaic and not in Greek.

Mike,Good one to show me that David was considered a shepherd of people. I was wrong there, sorry. Still, a type of the heavenly is only a type. You would have to prove that Jesus was an earthly type of the heavenly One, i.e. that Jesus wasn't Lord of all creation and that He didn't have dominion over the universe when in His proper glorified…[Read more]

Mike,Here is an example showing that the original NT was in Aramaic and later translated to Greek:Aramaic Bible in Plain EnglishMark 5:41 And he took the girl's hand and he said to her, “Little girl, arise.”This Aramaic Bible in Plain English just translates from Aramaic to English. It doesn't translate the Greek to Aramaic and then the Eng…[Read more]

MikeAgain, I ask:Did you look into this translation to see how they translated this version before you made your claim, yes or no??
Lightenup replied to the topic Does the name Jehovah appear in the new testament? in the forum Truth or Tradition 13 years, 11 months ago
Mike,They say that the original was not in Greek but Hebrew and Aramaic.

Pierre,Col 1:15+ tells us that He was born/begotten before anything was created in heaven or on earth. His name YHVH tells us that He always existed.Acts10:36 (HRV) says, “YESHUA THE MESSIAH, HE IS YHWH OF ALL.”Regarding communion, I Cor. 11:27 (HRV) says, “whoever eats of THE BREAD OF YHWH and drinks from his cup and is not worthy, he is indebted…[Read more]

Well Mike, that is not true. Did you just pull that out of your wishful thinking cap? You make huge assumptions there without backing them up or taking time to research what you claim as the translators having 'no regard.' Where was YOUR regard for researching how they translated? Was it with NO regard on your part like you are judging them to…[Read more]

Pierre,God was always a Father with a Son. What was different is at one time, the Son was within the Father and yet to be begotten…later He was begotten before the ages.

Mike, you asked:Quote Are you trying to refute the fact that King David was also a Lord of other lords, just like Jesus, his God Jehovah, and many others are Lords of other lords?Yes I am refuting that David was a Lord of other lords just like Jesus. Think a lord vs. the Lord. Big difference. You realize that a god is different than 'the' god, so…[Read more]

Mike,The translators are not looking at the Greek when they are translating this Hebrew Roots Version. They are looking at the Hebrew and Aramaic which was the common language of the disciples. This is really what it boils down to…as plain as day:I Cor. 12:3 (HRV) says, “there is no one who speaks by the spirit of Eloah (God) and says that Yeshua…[Read more]

Pierre,Jesus, no matter the title, is subject to the Father because He, Jesus, is not the Father but the Son of the Father. A son would naturally be subject to his father. A title does not change that fact.
