If within the unity of Jehovah there is one God and one Lord who are a father and son, then one can expect that the son would be perfectly under the authority of the father if it were a perfect father/son relationship. If the father gives his son authority over all things in heaven and on earth after the son accomplishes his father’s will, it shows that the son is trusted by his father to be able to handle that level of authority.
The Son is perfect and always under the authority of his perfect Father or the Son would not be perfect. The Son can do everything he sees his Father doing. The Father provides the vision, the Son carries out the vision.
The unity of Jehovah is the perfect Father with the perfect Son, not the Father apart from the perfect Son.
Apart from the Son, the Father did not create anything.
Apart from the Father, the Son did not create anything.
But they did create and they created together. Both receive the same honor of being the creator, Jehovah.
Also, Jesus is the God of this Messianic age in 2 Cor 4:4, not satan.
Lightenup–The Father created his only begotten son-The Hebrew word-possessed at Prov 8:22 means created in Hebrew. = The firstborn of all creation-false religions twist these facts because it exposes them as false. Only a HE created, not a we.( Gen 1:27-Prov 8:27-28)-Gods master worker(Jesus) is the builder not the creator.
James 1:5 tells us that if we lack wisdom, we should ask God. With that in mind, would you be willing to sincerely ask God the Father whether His Son, Jesus, ever began to exist, or whether the Son has always existed in some manner? I am not asking you to accept my view—only to ask the Father directly and be open to whatever He shows you.

I assume you are referring to 2 Cor 4:4. I’m not sure what you are saying there? Are you aware that there is the article with the first theos in that verse or are you not aware?
2Cor 4:4 In whom the God of this world blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the enlightening of the good news of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, does not enlighten them.
I have come to believe that the God of this age is Jesus since this age referred to, is the Messianic Age, and Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth. Here is a book on the matter if you are interested in challenging your view that Satan is the god of this age.

Lightenup–The article = THE–its the first word of the paragraph at 2 Cor 4:4–it is NOT calling satan-The God as it does to the true God at John 1:1 and 2nd Cor 4:4.

The fact that you just wrote that should show the general reader that you are not concerned with being truthful. I just showed you a book that says
A book of lies you posted-Every scholar on Earth knows 100% it is satan at 2 Cor 4:4-thus-god, not God.
The general reader sees that you judged a book by your bias, not because you read it. The book is a scholarly book.

Show us specifically what the author wrote within the book that is a lie and then show us why it is a lie.
Lightenup–Your own words said it teaches The god of this system of things at 2 Cor 4:4 is Jesus, when in reality it is satan. He is ruling this system, it is sick, corrupt, and twisted.

In the 4 gospels, when Jesus was speaking to a crowd, did everybody who was there and saw Jesus, believe He was from God or did some of them, who were there watching Jesus, not believe that He was from God even after they saw Him feed thousands in there presence or raise Lazarus from the dead or heal the lame man and the blind man?The answer is this:
Not everybody who witnessed Jesus doing miracles believed that He was from God, or that He was the Son of God, and/or that He was the Messiah.
Eventhough they saw with their eyes, they heard with their ears, they did not claim to see a man sent from God, the Messiah. The true reality of Jesus was blinding to the minds of the unbelievers. It wasn’t because Jesus was covering their eyes or doing his miracles behind closed doors. He was in full view doing many of His miracles.
Do you see, Keith, how the truth of Jesus can be blinding to people. If the heart and mind are not willing to see Jesus as the Messiah, they will look right at Him, even witness the miracles, and completely miss Him even to the point of having Him crucified.
Unless they turn their eyes on Him willingly to see Him as the Messiah, the veil remains.
He who now has all authority in heaven and on earth (Jesus), has blinded the eyes of the unbelieving, not because He covers their eyes but because they are unwilling to see with their eyes and believe in their heart and be saved.

Paul’s argument in 2 Cor 3–4 only stays coherent if “the God of this age” refers to Christ, not Satan.
2 Cor 3:12–15 — God veils hardened hearts.
2 Cor 3:16 — Christ removes the veil when one turns.
2 Cor 3:18 — Believers behold Christ’s glory.
2 Cor 4:1–2 — Paul preaches Christ openly.
2 Cor 4:3 — Some remain veiled.
2 Cor 4:4 — The God of this age (Christ) blinds hardened hearts.

If “god of this age” were Satan, Paul’s argument breaks. If it is Christ, the entire flow becomes unified, logical, and Christ-centered.
Patristic Support for Reading “the God of This Age” as Christ (2 Cor 4:4)
Several major patristic voices understood “the god of this age” to refer to Christ, not Satan. Their reasoning is rooted in the flow of 2 Cor 3–4, the Isaiah 6 pattern of divine blinding, and the conviction that Christ blinds by glory.
Cyril of Alexandria — Christ blinds hardened hearts by the brightness of His glory. The blinding in 4:4 matches the blinding in 3:14–15. The subject never shifts to Satan.
Gregory of Nyssa — Christ blinds the impure by shining light. The blindness is judicial, not demonic.
Hilary of Poitiers — Christ is Lord of the present age. His revelation blinds those who reject Him.
Theodoret of Cyrus — The “age” is the Messianic age. Christ is the God of this age. The same subject blinds (4:4) and illumines (4:6).

Why Some Titles Are Never Applied to Satan — Before or After the Resurrection
1. Titles Satan IS called before the resurrection:
– “ruler of this world” (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11)
– “the one who had the power of death” (Heb 2:14)
– “deceiver of the whole world” (Rev 12:9)
– “accuser” with access to heaven (Job 1–2; Zech 3:1–2)
– “ruler of the kingdoms of the world” (Luke 4:6)2. Titles Satan is NEVER called — before OR after:
– “god of this age”
– “god of this world”
– “the one who blinds minds”
– “the one who veils hearts”
– “the one who prevents seeing Christ’s glory”3. Titles Satan LOSES after the resurrection:
– “ruler of this world” → judged (John 16:11)
– “accuser” → cast down (Rev 12:10)
– “power of death” → destroyed (Heb 2:14)
– “deceiver of the nations” → restricted (Rev 20:2–3)Conclusion:
Some titles Satan once held are never applied to him again after the resurrection.
Other titles people assume he held are never applied to him at all.
Therefore “the god of this age” in 2 Cor 4:4 cannot be Satan.t suggest that you rethink your view. In my opinion which is substantiated in my posts, Satan has been a great deceiver of the minds of the believing who refer to him as the god of this age. You give him a higher title after his defeat than he had before his defeat by the resurrection. Does that seem reasonable to you?
Lightenup–0 doubt 2 Cor 4:4 is satan. Remember–The whole world lies in the power of the wicked one. It is satan causing these last days to be like Noahs day=99.9999% mislead.( Luke 17:26)—-Jesus is Gods image, thus he desires all be saved. Thus does not blind them.
Do you realize that you put salvation into the hand of Satan to distribute by believing that Satan keeps many from finding “the road?” If Satan keeps many from finding the road than the leading of humanity to salvation belongs to him. Such power you give him. Is that what you want to teach?? Do you have a Bible verse for this?
john 9: 39Then Jesus declared, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind may see and those who see may become blind.”
