Does God get what he wants
God wants all people to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth 1Timothy ch 2v 4
So does get what He wants Will all people be saved or will God not get what He wants
In Phillipians ch 2Paul states thatEvery knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father
Psalm 22 v says that all who go down into the dust will kneel before Him
So everybody who dies will kneel before God
Is history tragic. Have billions of people been created only to spend eternity in conscious punishment and torment
Or will God take care of us

I don't like the term godless. It sounds as if these people are wicked
We are talking about people who have never had a chance to reject the good news of the gospel
The aborted, still born, mentally incapable have not made a decision one way or another
There has to be a provision for these
Imagine a young child in a lost tribe situation. She may have a consciousness of a supreme being, but has never heard that Jesus paid the price for her sin and was offering eternal life
She gets raped and gets aids and then dies. She ,hypothetically, arrives at the pearly gates and is refused admission. She is then directed to the torture chamber. Never to escape
What an outcome. Something is not right

Further is God just to torment forever mentally ill people who could not understand the gospel
Also where do the Aborted/ Still born babies go

Yes respect has to be earned
My son is an atheist and on occasions mention the trouble that religion has caused. I wholeheartedly agree with him
There isa book written called Foxe's Book of Martyrs. It describes how Catholics burned Protestants and give versa. It made me sick

I have a favourite song called Imagine, by John Lennon the bit where he says no religion hits the spot for me

Having said that the world owes a lot to people inspired by their christian beliefs.

It is easy to attack anothers belief
I meet each week with an Atheist, Buddhist, Spiritist. We talk about our beliefs, and disagree on some matters. But we have all learned to listen to each other with respect
I , even though I disagree with my friends, would never laugh at them or be nasty
Please express to me what you think life, creation, desth etc is all about

I started my christian life here in Newport South Wales UK at Baptist Church. Then a Pentecostal, then back to Baptist
Five years ago i started to look at what I really believed. Not what men said I should believe. To help me do this I needed to read scripture without my Pentecostal/ Baptist glasses. So I stopped going to a church
I found that a lot of what I believed were mens traditions
I used to find that once , when asked where I went to church, i was pigeon holed.

Salvation is only through Jesus. Of this I am certain
My situation is one of wrestling against sinful habits. Failure to overcome these has led me to despair
How can I be a christian and still do these thing, is a question in my mind
I pray for victory but I dont change

Regarding my question about Adam
My question was asked during a group conversation regarding Adam and what happens when people die. Two of our group recently died
There are mixed beliefs about life after death. The default position is that immediately at death a believer goes to Heaven and non believers are in torment
I was trying to get the minister to say if he believed that Adam was in torment
The question is very important, because we should be able to tell people what life after death means and what is their destination
The two who died are said by the pastor to be now in heaven
But from my study of scripture it says that the dead are in the earth, And stay there until Ressurection day
For pastors to say that an unbeliever goes straight to eternal torment goes against Gods nature they should be tried and judged first
There will come a day of judgement for believer and unbeliever
Princess if our eternal destiny was certain, that assurance would impact our lives

sense in light of the demons asking Jesus if he came to torture them before their appointed time, right?

They knew of their future punishment

The verses that you mentioned appear to endorse that people under the influence of demons actually can predict the future
This is evident from the money being made
But how does a demon know the future. has the future been planned already and that we are just part of a big plan
And that somehow they have acess to this plan

It is interesting that this woman was telling people to listen to Pauls message
