God’s spirit and God’s word aren’t other people and other things.
True.
You say “Yes”, but you really believe otherwise; don’t you?

The 69th ‘week’ ended with the Crucifixion. There hasn’t been any 7 year period to fit the 70th since then.
Hi Keras,What say you of this:
“and in the midst of the week HE shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease” (Dan 9:27)
Did Jesus death not end the practice of animal sacrifices to cease?
Do you not agree that “HE” is messi…[Read more]Ed J replied to the topic What does it mean that Jesus came in the flesh? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 12 years, 2 months ago

(1)So Ed, where does that leave the time periods as given in Revelation?
We are told the time that the AC is in control will be 42 months and the ‘woman’ taken to a place of safety for 1260 days. These are 3.5 years periods. Yes, Jesus’ ministry was for 3.5 years, (2)but then to go outside of scripture and say the next 3.5 years compl…[Read more]

Hi T8,
Are you suggesting that the term “only begotten” refers to a special preexistent state.
There is no evidence to suggest that is what the term means at all; unless you have some,
do you? Why can’t it instead simply mean that Jesus had no human biological father? In Hebrews Isaac is referred to as Abraham’s only begotten son. (ref. Heb…[Read more]

This is the exact point. If all that was made/created came by God through the Word, and not anything else existed that was made, then if Jesus is the Word, then the Word could not have been made? Further, if the Word was not made, then how did the Word come to be beside God? Well there are a number of prominent scriptures that point out that he…[Read more]

If Jesus is created/was made then he had to have been created by the Word. Thus he cannot be the Word because he could not have been created through himself a sort of chicken and egg scenario.
And if he is the Word as you contend, then he existed before all that was created including rulers and authorities which would mean he was before all…[Read more]

*PLUS* you will ALSO need to prove that “The Word” referrers to who you claim, which you have NOT been able to do.
