    Islam is not the Antichrist.

Daniel 7 does not identify the Antichrist by general opposition to Christianity. It gives specific prophetic markers.

The Antichrist power is the little horn. It rises from the fourth beast, which represents Rome, and comes up among the ten horns, the divisions of Western Rome (Daniel 7:7–8, 24). That means it must arise from within the Roman world, among Rome’s divided kingdoms.

This gives us a very specific historical window.

The ten horns are established after the breakup of Western Rome, commonly marked by AD 476. But Daniel also says the little horn uproots three of those horns. Therefore, the little horn must already be rising before the last of those three opposing powers is removed, which were the Ostrogoths in AD 538.

So the little horn must rise to political prominence after AD 476, but by AD 538.

Islam does not fit that. Islam arose in Arabia in the early seventh century, beginning with Muhammad’s ministry in AD 610 and becoming established as a political-religious power after the Hijrah to Medina in AD 622. That places its rise outside the Roman prophetic setting and after the 476–538 window had already closed.

Daniel also says the little horn would uproot three of the ten horns and would think to change times and law (Daniel 7:8, 24–25). Islam was not part of that prophetic sequence, nor did it claim authority to alter God’s law in the way Daniel describes.

This is the point: the Antichrist is not identified by fear, headlines, or broad religious conflict. It is identified by the prophetic details God gave.

Islam does not fit the place, the timing, or the sequence.

    The Roman Catholic Papacy does.

This is not about Muslims as individuals. It is about correctly identifying the prophetic system described in Daniel 7.

Donald Trump Praises Christianity’s “Tremendous” Comeback

On May 19, 2026—two days after the “Rededicate 250” event in Washington, D.C.—President Donald Trump announced during a press briefing that religion had increased during the first year of his second presidential term. He also asserted that Christianity is experiencing a “tremendous resurgence.” President Trump claimed that our country was built by religion and founded upon it and declared that, when there is strong religion, there is less crime.

Donald Trump’s full remarks were as follows:

    • “I think religion is very important for our country. I think having religion, this country was built largely on religion. If you look, it was built. And when you have strong religion, you have less crime. It’s just the fact, you know, whatever it may be, it’s like, gee, I want to go to heaven, so I’m not going to do this and that. Who knows? But we have a country that was based on religion, and I’m very proud of that.” (Video)

    • “And if you look and you see all of the polling, I mean, polling is so fake, but on this it’s not fake. Religion is really going up in the last year. And during that time, I mean, really during the time I first got elected in 2016, it was a much different thing. I’m very proud of that.” (Video)

    • “Uh, religion is a good thing. Christianity is a great thing for our country. I mean, so many of the things that we’ve done, the successes that we’ve had, have been based on Christianity and religion. So I’m very proud of that.” (Video)

    • “Uh, religion is taking off like our country is taking off. Our country is hotter now than it’s ever been. And I’ll tell you, religion is making a tremendous comeback. You look at churches today; they’re full. You go back to three years. Nobody was going. So we’re very happy with that.” (Video)
Trump’s statements are significant because they reveal the growing belief that national prosperity depends upon a revival of religion in public life. Scripture warns that in the last days there will be a revival of a form of faith within civil power to preserve society and restore national greatness. Revelation 13 describes the union of religious influence with political authority to support and enforce the doctrines of the church.

When the President of the United States begins presenting religion as the solution to America’s problems, we must recognize that the stage is being set for a closer union between church and state. These remarks came only two days after the “Rededicate 250” event in Washington, D.C., where political figures, clergy, and religious influencers openly called for national revival, spiritual renewal, and a return to God as the hope for America’s future. President Trump’s repeated claims that America was “built on religion” and that stronger religion produces less crime are part of a growing Christian nationalist philosophy that seeks to preserve faith through the power and influence of the state.

Unfortunately, government-sponsored religion has never produced genuine righteousness. True Christianity cannot be legislated, enforced, or revived through political movements. Across the political and religious worlds, there are growing calls for America to return to its Christian roots. Tragically, the revival being promoted today is largely ecumenical and nationalistic rather than biblically grounded in truth. These modern revival movements often emphasize unity, patriotism, and the “common good” while avoiding the distinctive biblical truths concerning the commandments of God, the everlasting gospel, the true biblical Sabbath, the mark of the beast, Babylon, and the warning against false worship.

A revival that unites Catholics, Protestants, political leaders, and civil institutions around a national religious worship service on Sunday may produce enthusiasm and outward display, but it does not lead people to obedience to all of God’s commandments. Bible prophecy warns that in the last days the United States will eventually speak “as a dragon” (Revelation 13:11), using its power to support and enforce apostate religious agendas. As these developments continue, God’s people are called to remain faithful to Scripture, uphold liberty of conscience, proclaim the everlasting gospel, and warn the world that true revival is not found in political religion or nationalistic Christianity but in Jesus Christ and obedience to His commandments.

The Push to Advance America’s Religious Revival Through Federal Law Has Begun

The first of many federal efforts to strengthen America’s religious identity has begun. Rededicate 250—with its national Sunday worship ceremony and widespread calls for revival—was one major example of religion being elevated at the federal level. But these efforts will not be limited to symbolic religious expressions alone; they will also include calls for federal legislation. In other words, the movement to revive religion through the federal government will increasingly manifest itself through legislative proposals, public acts of worship, and policies designed to promote America’s religious identity in national life.

In conjunction with Rededicate 250, a new federal proposal called the “In God We Trust Act” was announced by Rep. Mary Miller on May 14, 2026, through an official press release. The legislation calls for the national motto, “In God We Trust,” to be prominently displayed in every federal building across America within one year. [1] According to the press release, the bill is being celebrated in direct connection with the Rededicate 250 celebration on May 17, 2026—a nationwide Sunday worship event calling America back to public religion, prayer, worship, and national spiritual renewal.

What makes this event prophetically significant is the growing use of federal power to promote religious identity as part of the United States’ national mission. The federal government is gradually becoming a platform for religious nationalism, in which political leaders, the clergy, and public institutions unite around the idea that the United States must restore faith as a guiding principle of national life.

This represents a drastic shift in the role of government. Historically, the United States Constitution was designed to keep the state neutral in religious matters—neither establishing a religion nor interfering with the free exercise thereof. America’s Founding Fathers understood firsthand that whenever civil power allies itself with religious movements, freedom of conscience ultimately suffers. However, today we are witnessing a growing movement that seeks to redefine the United States as a nation whose political future should be guided by religion and by public acts of worship.

The timing is also revealing. This bill comes just before Rededicate 250, an event already filled with calls for revival, repentance, national worship, miracles, and spiritual renewal. The very movement urging the United States to rededicate itself to God is, in turn, normalizing the idea that the government should publicly promote religion at the national level. According to prophecy, this will ultimately lead to greater cooperation between church and state, as well as increasing support for religious practices.

    THE COMING SUNDAY LAW
    The Final Test Of Loyalty

Prophecy warns that the final crisis on earth will center around worship, obedience, and God’s authority. Revelation 13 describes a power that appears lamb-like at first, speaking the language of peace, liberty, morality, and unity, yet eventually exercises coercive authority and speaks “as a dragon.” Many students of biblical prophecy understand this power to be America in its prophetic role during the closing events of earth’s history.

What is now being promoted in society as a harmless call for “rest,” “family values,” “national unity,” or even environmental recovery will eventually become something far more serious. The concern is not merely about a day of worship, but about enforced religious observance through civil legislation. History has repeatedly shown that when church and state unite, freedom of conscience is endangered and persecution soon follows.

The Bible declares that a time is coming when economic pressure and legal penalties will be used against those who refuse to conform to false systems of worship. Revelation speaks of restrictions involving buying and selling, showing that the final conflict will extend beyond theology into everyday life. This is why the issue is so solemn. It concerns whether men will obey the commandments of God or submit to human authority in place of divine authority.

The seventh-day Sabbath stands in Scripture as the sign of God’s creatorship and His authority, while man-made religious systems attempt to substitute human tradition in the place of God’s holy law. The coming crisis will reveal where the loyalty of every soul truly rests. Though the world may unite under political and religious pressure, God will still have a faithful people who choose obedience to Him above the decrees of men.

Now is the time to study the Scriptures carefully, seek truth sincerely, and build a personal relationship with Christ before the final test bursts upon the world unexpectedly.

    THE CHICK-FIL-A SABBATH RIGHTS VIOLATION

When The Wrong Sabbath Is Protected And The True Sabbath Is Punished

In recent months, a lawsuit involving a Chick-fil-A franchise in Austin, Texas, has quietly revealed a growing issue that reaches far beyond one employee, one restaurant, or one court case. The case centers around a Christian woman named Laurel Torode, a believer who observes the biblical seventh-day Sabbath from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset. She was hired with the understanding that her Sabbath convictions would be respected. For several months, the arrangement worked. Then suddenly the accommodation was withdrawn. She was told that if she wished to keep her managerial position, she would have to work during the Sabbath hours God had sanctified. When she refused to violate her conscience, she was pressured to accept a lower-paying position and was eventually terminated.

What makes this matter especially striking is that the business involved is part of a company famous for defending Sunday rest on religious grounds. Chick-fil-A has long been praised for closing its doors on Sunday to allow workers a day of worship and rest. Yet now, a woman seeking protection for obedience to the seventh-day Sabbath finds herself fighting for her job in federal court.

To many, this may appear to be only a labor dispute. But to students of Bible prophecy, it is something far deeper. It is another sign that the world is moving steadily toward the very conflict the Scriptures foretold long ago, a conflict over worship, obedience and the law of God.

The Bible plainly declares which day God sanctified. Genesis 2:2-3 says: “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” (Genesis 2:2-3)

The fourth commandment is equally clear: “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God.” (Exodus 20:8-10)

Yet despite the clarity of Scripture, history reveals a long process through which human pagan tradition gradually replaced the biblical Sabbath with Sunday observance. This change did not come from Christ or the Apostles. No verse in the Bible transfers holiness from the seventh day to the first day of the week. The transition came through false papal church tradition and later through civil enforcement.

History records that in A.D. 321, Roman Emperor Constantine issued the first widespread Sunday law, commanding rest on “the venerable day of the sun.” Over time, church councils strengthened Sunday observance while opposition to seventh-day Sabbath keeping increased. Those who remained faithful to the biblical Sabbath were treated as extremists, rebels, or troublemakers. Throughout the centuries, many Sabbath keepers faced persecution, imprisonment, loss of property and even death because they chose obedience to God above human tradition.

The modern world likes to believe such religious intolerance belongs only to the past. Yet cases like this one reveal that the same spirit still exists beneath the surface. Society is generally willing to defend religious freedom so long as it does not conflict with popular customs, economic interests, or majority religious traditions. But when believers seek protection for the seventh-day Sabbath, resistance appears.

This growing tension is exactly what prophecy warned would happen in the last days. Daniel 7:25 speaks of a power that would attempt to alter God’s divine law: “And he shall speak great words against the most High and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws.” (Daniel 7:25) The only commandment dealing with sacred time is the Sabbath commandment. Bible prophecy foretold a system that would attempt to change God’s appointed time of worship and persecute those who remained faithful to Him.

The book of Revelation carries this warning even further. Revelation 13 describes a final global crisis centered around worship and enforced obedience. Revelation 13:16-17 says: “And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark.” (Revelation 13:16-17) This prophecy points to a coming time when economic pressure and civil power will be used against those who refuse to conform to a false day of worship.

Revelation 14:12 describes God’s faithful people in the final crisis: “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” (Revelation 14:12) Notice that the final remnant are identified by two things: faith in Jesus and obedience to the Commandments of God.

Ask yourself, which of the Ten Commandments that major religious and political powers disregard, is it murder, is it lying or is it the Seventh-day Sabbath.

What makes the Chick-fil-A case so revealing is the contradiction it exposes. Under their religious liberty laws, society readily respects and legally protects Sunday observance because it aligns with majority religious culture. Yet when believers ask for accommodation to keep the seventh-day Sabbath established by God Himself, they are treated as inconvenient burdens on the system. This reveals a bias reality: not all religious convictions are treated equally. As foretold in Bible prophecy.

The prophet Isaiah warned of a time when truth would fall in the streets and justice would become distorted. Isaiah 59:14 says: “And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.” (Isaiah 59:14)

As the world moves closer to the end, the divide between God’s Commandments and human religious systems will become increasingly visible. Economic pressure, workplace discrimination, social hostility, and eventually legal enforcement will test the conscience of God’s people. Yet Scripture gives hope to those who remain faithful. Jesus said: “And ye (Sabbath Keepers) shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 10:22)

Cases like this are reminders that prophecy is not theory. The foundations for future persecution are already appearing quietly within modern society.

The issue before the world is the same question asked long ago by Elijah on Mount Carmel: “How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him.” (1 Kings 18:21) Soon every soul will have to decide whom they will obey.

[Revelation 12:17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman (God’s Sabbath Keeping Church), and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the Commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

On April 9, 2026, two days after meeting with Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican to ease tensions between U.S. President Donald Trump and the Pope, Secretary of State Marco Rubio released a video discussing Catholicism’s role in shaping America ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary at the The Catholic University of America’s Center for the Constitution and the Catholic Intellectual Tradition. [1] Unfortunately, Rubio is reinterpreting historical events and fundamentally reshaping the identity of the United States by portraying the nation’s founding and political philosophy as being rooted in Catholic tradition and theology.

Rubio claims that the purpose of America’s system of government seeks to promote the “common good,” a phrase closely linked to Catholic social doctrine. He has also argued that America’s founding principles come from the same tradition that produced the magnificent cathedrals of Rome and are rooted in the teachings of influential Catholic theologians such as Augustine and Thomas Aquinas. In Rubio’s view, America represents the fulfillment of the hopes and dreams of the Old World, and he has even described the United States as one of the strongest examples of the lasting influence of the Catholic faith on society and public life.

Marco Rubio claimed that Pope Leo XIII believed America was destined for greatness and expressed his desire that the Catholic Church would “help bring about” that greatness. But that reflects Rome’s vision for America—not the vision established by the U.S. Constitution. Rubio has embraced and promoted a Catholicized interpretation of American history, arguing that America’s political system belongs to the same intellectual tradition that produced “the towering cathedrals of Rome” and the philosophy of Augustine and Aquinas.

He further described America as a place where “the Church and the civilization it created were reborn.” Yet this is historical revisionism. America’s founding documents were not written to enthrone Rome, Augustine, Aquinas, or Catholic social doctrine. They were written to limit government power, protect liberty of conscience, prohibit religious tests for public office, and forbid Congress from establishing religion—principles that historically stood in direct opposition to the religious-political system supported by the Roman Papacy.

Rubio’s appeal to the “common good” may sound harmless, but in Catholic political theology that phrase is often tied to a vision in which civil government is expected to promote moral and religious order. That is the danger. Once the state begins defining the “common good” through religious doctrine, liberty of conscience becomes threatened. America is not the fulfillment of Rome’s dreams. America was founded, in part, as a rejection of Old World Papal religious tyranny. The Constitution does not create a Catholic nation, a Protestant nation, or any church-state system. It creates a civil government that must not impose religious belief or worship by law.

And while Marco Rubio emphasizes Catholic suffering in early America, he entirely ignores Rome’s own bloody history on the shores of the United States in Jacksonville, FL. In 1565, Spanish Catholic forces destroyed the French Protestant settlement at Fort Caroline—located in present-day Jacksonville—and massacred French Huguenots in the events surrounding what later became known as the Matanzas Massacre. The National Park Service describes these events as the Catholic massacre of French Protestants in the present-day United States, which helped establish Rome’s control over Florida. [1] That history cannot simply be ignored while Rubio portrays Catholics solely as victims.

So the issue is not whether Catholics have lived, served, or contributed in America. They have. The issue is whether America’s founding story is now being revised to make Rome appear as the spiritual mother of the Republic. That claim is false, dangerous, and prophetic. America’s greatness was never built on submission to Rome but on the God-given principle that no earthly power has the right to command the conscience.

American history is being rewritten before our very eyes. Modern Catholic politicians and revisionist voices are presenting a polished and sanitized version of the United States—one that portrays America as a Catholic nation founded upon Catholic principles and destined to fulfill Rome’s vision. This narrative must be challenged, and true history must remain our teacher so that the dangers and abuses of the past are neither forgotten nor repeated.

Why Some Believe He Was Sent for the End Times ?

They do not understand the meaning of the end-times prophecy, particularly Daniel 2 and 7 and Revelation 12, 13, 14, and 17, among others.

Therefore, they follow false prophets who tell them things that lead them astray from what God wants them to know for their salvation.

Pope Leo XIV Backs Catholic Efforts in the U.S. to “Recover Sunday” as the Sacred Day of Rest, Worship, and Healing

On April 11, 2026, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Tucson, AZ, published an article stating that other Catholic dioceses in America are calling for the recovery of “Sunday, the Lord’s Day, as a sacred time of worship in the Eucharist, of rest, and of healing relationships.” This work is being carried out with the blessing of Pope Leo XIV and is being presented as an effort to save the nation from ecological and social crises. In other words, Sunday worship is the solution to put an end to the so-called greatest threats facing America.

The Tucson Diocese published the following:

    • “A new pastoral letter from Indiana’s Catholic bishops calls on the faithful to see God-given human life and creation as interwoven, and to live eucharistic lives as we care for both our human community and for God’s good world.” [1]

    • “The Indiana Catholic Conference made public “Integral Ecology: A Sacramental Vision,” a 32-page document that is addressed both to Christians and to “all people of good will in the state of Indiana.” [1]

    • “The letter was commended by Cardinal Michael Czerny, prefect of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, who extended Pope Leo XIV’s blessing to the bishops.” [1]

    • “The Indiana bishops explained that integral ecology, put simply, recognizes: We belong to the earth and to the Church.” [1]

    • “Sadly, our state of Indiana, with its 63,000 miles of streams and rivers and inland lakes and reservoirs, has some of the most polluted water in the country,” the bishops lamented.” [1]

    • “The bishops said, “At the core of the ecological and social crises is a human heart enclosed in upon itself, alienated from God, our neighbor, and creation.” [1]

    • “Exhorting the faithful to avoid consumerism, the bishops urged the faithful to put their faith into action through the spiritual and corporal works of mercy — and by recovering Sunday, the Lord’s Day, as a sacred time of worship in the Eucharist, of rest, and of healing relationships.” [1]

What will it take before we recognize the driving force behind the growing calls for Sunday observance? While many different voices—religious leaders, media figures, and policymakers—are promoting Sunday as a solution for rest, family stability, and even environmental healing, the overarching vision is being shaped and guided by the Vatican through the global influence of the Catholic Church, which has consistently upheld Sunday as its sacred institution.

Rome’s efforts are not isolated; they are coordinated and will continue to expand without an end in sight until the United States becomes an image of the beast. The push for Sunday laws will intensify with the aim of influencing public policy. The goal is clear: the promotion of Sunday—under the argument of safeguarding the common good—will continue until Sunday legislation becomes an integral part of American political and social life.

📣📣📣 PROPHECY UPDATE: TRUMP VOWS TO MAKE AMERICA MORE RELIGIOUS THAN EVER BEFORE, UNITING CHURCH AND STATE TO FORM THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST⚠️⏰‼️.

Will Donald Trump be the one to complete the formation of the image of the beast in America, as Revelation 13 prophesied? Time will tell. But we are sure getting the signs that we will very soon see the complete formation of the image in America. That image being an image to Papal Rome. A church-state union, with the church directing the state power:

“Donald Trump Vows to Make America ‘More Religious’ Than Ever Before – Trump posted to Truth Social, his social media platform, on Easter morning, writing: ‘We are, together, going to make America bigger, better, stronger, wealthier, healthier, and more religious, than it has ever been before!!! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!” (https://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-vows-make-america-more-religious-ever-before-2061904)

There is only one way a state power can make a country more ‘religious’ – BY FORCE!

“Trump, brushing aside separation of church and state, establishes religious liberty commission – President Donald Trump on Thursday signed an executive order establishing a presidential commission on religious liberty, openly questioning the separation of church and state in an escalation of the White House’s increasing fervor for Christianity. ‘They say separation between church and state … I said, ‘All right, let’s forget about that for one time,’ the president said during a Rose Garden event celebrating National Prayer Day.” (https://www.politico.com/news/2025/05/01/trump-religious-commission-church-state-0032181)

“Trump ‘jokes’ his admin will ‘forget about’ separation of church and state: ‘We’re bringing religion back’ – President Donald Trump joked that his administration could end the separation of church and state on Thursday, saying they are ‘bringing religion back to our country.’ Trump made the statement during a speech at the White House celebrating the National Day of Prayer. He touted the White House’s faith office and its leader, Paula White.” (https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-jokes-his-admin-forget-about-separation-church-state-were-bringing-religion-back)

History will confirm that the only way a civil state power can make any country ‘more religious’ is through FORCE. We have seen this throughout Bible history, and we have seen it during the dark ages when the Roman Catholic Church ruled and forced her ‘religion’ upon the world. Well, guess what Revelation 13 tells us is going to happen? An image to Papal Rome will be set up. Not a literal material image. But a state power that is controlled by the churches. And Revelation 13 tells us that the second beast, which is America, will be the nation to set this image up – a UNION of church and state, with the church controlling the state power. It is the very image portrayed in Revelation 17 – the harlot woman (apostate churches) riding (controlling) the beast (the state power). And all of what Donald Trump is saying and doing is leading America right into fulfilling the prophecy of the creation of the image to the beast.

What did Donald Trump promise the churches if he was elected President? That the church would have POWER like never before! See our report on that HERE https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XxJpt2UNIeM

What did Donald Trump say above? That he is going to make America more religious than ever before. How can a state power do this? By force. What did Revelation 13 say regarding America and the image to the beast?

Revelation 13:11-12 …’And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed … And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.’

SPEAK AND CAUSE. That is FORCE by legislative power. Also, he will “cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” WORSHIP is ‘religion.’ And to kill people who will not join in with the worship of this image, is FORCED religion. Do you see? This is what is coming in America. And ultimately the church-state image in America is to cause the world to bow to the dictates of Roman Catholicism (Papal Rome – the first beast). Which will include forced Sunday sabbath keeping and trinity worship. In opposition to God’s true seventh day Sabbath (our Saturday) and worship of the true one true God (the Father) and His only begotten Son (Jesus Christ).

And what about this A.I. image posted by Trump and the Whitehouse, depicting Trump as a pope? Is this a signal from Trump that He is going to give power to the churches? Is it a signal that he will totally support the Roman Catholic Church and that America will do her bidding? We will see.

But one thing we need to remember is that according to Revelation 13, they are going to use DECEPTION to cause the world to fall in line. Signs and wonders like we have never seen before. Which is why we MUST know the TRUTH of God and stand firm upon that platform of TRUTH. Because GREAT is the deception that is coming. Satan will use ALL his power to deceive this final generation before Jesus Christ returns. So we need to WATCH. We need to STUDY. We need to PRAY. We need to DRAW CLOSER to Jesus each and every day, and rely upon HIM alone. This is our only safety.

Pete Hegseth Prays in Jesus’ Name for Lethal Force Against the “Ungodly” Enemies of the U.S., Asking That “Every Round Find Its Mark” Through “Overwhelming Violence”

Yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” John 16:2
On March 25, 2026, U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth offered a prayer during a Christian worship service at the Pentagon, amidst the ongoing conflict with Iran. Hegseth invoked Psalm 144 to pray for “overwhelming violence” against his enemies, urging the use of precise and lethal force against those deemed “ungodly” and asking that “every round hit its mark” against the “ungodly” enemies of the United States. What is truly disturbing about this type of prayer is that it represents the union of religion with state violence—a distortion of Christianity that redefines the faith to align it with earthly wars.

Pete Hegseth Prays in Jesus’ Name for Lethal Force Against the “Ungodly” Enemies of the U.S., Asking That “Every Round Find Its Mark” Through “Overwhelming Violence”
March 31, 2026 by Andy Roman 2 Comments

“Yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” John 16:2

Secretary Hegseth’s prayer was as follows:

    • “Almighty God, who trains our hands for war and our fingers for battle, you who stirred the nations from the north against Babylon of old, making her land a desolation where none dwell, behold now the wicked who rise against your justice and the peace of the righteous. Snap the rod of the oppressor, frustrate the wicked plans, and break the teeth of the ungodly. By the blast of your anger, let the evil perish. Let their bulls go down to slaughter for their day has come, the time of their punishment. Pour out your wrath upon those who plot vain things and blow them away like chaff before the wind” (Video).

    • “Grant this task force clear and righteous targets for violence. Surround them as a shield, protect the innocent and blameless in their midst. Make their arrows like those of a skilled warrior who returned not empty-handed. Let every round find its mark against the enemies of righteousness and our great nation. Give them wisdom in every decision, endurance for the trial ahead, unbreakable unity, and overwhelming violence of action against those who deserve no mercy. Preserve their lives, sharpen their resolve, and let justice be executed swiftly and without remorse that evil may be driven back and wicked souls delivered to the eternal damnation prepared for them. For the wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. We ask these things with bold confidence in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, King over all kings and am” (Video).
Christ explicitly rebuked violence committed in His name when He warned, in John 16:2, that people would kill others, believing they were rendering a service to God. Attaching His holy name to acts of violence—even in war—falsely conveys the idea that Jesus, in some way, endorses and guides bullets to strike human targets. If nations deem it necessary to go to war, they have no right to invoke the name of Jesus to sanctify their slaughters and armed conflict. Governments may claim the necessity of defense, but they cross the line when they justify offensive measures by cloaking them in the name of the Prince of Peace. This gravely misrepresents His character and dangerously confuses His heavenly kingdom with the violent kingdoms of this world.

Linking the Jewish Covenant—the Old Testament theocracy granted exclusively to ancient Israel—with modern America, as certain radical Evangelicals in the Church do, represents a profound misunderstanding of the nature and principles of the Kingdom of God. When Jesus appeared before Pilate and declared, ” Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.” (John 18:36), He made it unequivocally clear that his reign is governed by principles entirely distinct from those of earthly nations and political powers.

Under the Old Covenant, God governed Israel directly, serving as both their spiritual King and their Lawgiver, authorizing war and conditional blessings linked to national obedience. That theocratic system has come to an end and has been replaced by the New Covenant in Christ. Today, in the era of the Kingdom, Jesus governs not through armies, borders, legislation, or national identity, but through the transformed hearts of His followers, by the power of the Holy Spirit, and through the advancement of the gospel.

His kingdom is spiritual in origin and characterized by love, truth, obedience, mercy, and selfless service, rather than by coercion or conquest. To confuse the United States—or any modern nation—with a revived version of Old Testament Israel erases the separation between Church and State and erroneously introduces theocratic warfare and civil law into the mission of the Church. In this type of prayer, one sees civil power speaking in religious terms and invoking divine authority to validate its actions. From a prophetic perspective, we are witnessing the rise of the Second Beast power that will enforce false worship through legislation and under penalty of death, just as described in Revelation 13.

    The Passover

When the demand for Israel’s release had been first presented to the king of Egypt, the warning of the most terrible of the plagues had been given. Moses was directed to say to Pharaoh, “Thus saith the Lord, Israel is My son, even My first-born: and I say unto thee, Let My son go, that he may serve Me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy first-born.” Exodus 4:22, 23. Though despised by the Egyptians, the Israelites had been honored by God, in that they were singled out to be the depositaries of His law. In the special blessings and privileges accorded them, they had pre-eminence among the nations, as the first-born son had among brothers.

The judgment of which Egypt had first been warned, was to be the last visited. God is long-suffering and plenteous in mercy. He has a tender care for the beings formed in His image. If the loss of their harvests and their flocks and herds had brought Egypt to repentance, the children would not have been smitten; but the nation had stubbornly resisted the divine command, and now the final blow was about to fall.

Moses had been forbidden, on pain of death, to appear again in Pharaoh’s presence; but a last message from God was to be delivered to the rebellious monarch, and again Moses came before him, with the terrible announcement: “Thus saith the Lord, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: and all the first-born in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the first-born of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the first-born of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more. But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the Lord doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out.”

Before the execution of this sentence the Lord through Moses gave direction to the children of Israel concerning their departure from Egypt, and especially for their preservation from the coming judgment. Each family, alone or in connection with others, was to slay a lamb or a kid “without blemish,” and with a bunch of hyssop sprinkle its blood on “the two side posts and on the upper doorpost” of the house, that the destroying angel, coming at midnight, might not enter that dwelling. They were to eat the flesh roasted, with unleavened bread and bitter herbs, at night, as Moses said, “with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord’s Passover.”

The Lord declared: “I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment…. And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.”

In commemoration of this great deliverance a feast was to be observed yearly by the people of Israel in all future generations. “This day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall keep it a feast to the Lord throughout your generations: ye shall keep it a feast by an ordinance forever.” As they should keep the feast in future years, they were to repeat to their children the story of this great deliverance, as Moses bade them: “Ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses.”

Furthermore, the first-born of both man and beast were to be the Lord’s, to be bought back only by a ransom, in acknowledgment that when the first-born in Egypt perished, that of Israel, though graciously preserved, had been justly exposed to the same doom but for the atoning sacrifice. “All the first-born are Mine,” the Lord declared; “for on the day that I smote all the first-born in the land of Egypt, I hallowed unto Me all the first-born in Israel, both man and beast: Mine they shall be,” Numbers 3:13. After the institution of the tabernacle service the Lord chose unto Himself the tribe of Levi for the work of the sanctuary, instead of the first-born of the people. “They are wholly given unto Me from among the children of Israel,” He said. “Instead of the first-born of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto Me.” Numbers 8:16. All the people were, however, still required, in acknowledgment of God’s mercy, to pay a redemptprivileges; and now man must co-operate with these saving agencies; he must appreciate and use the helps that God has provided—believe and obey all the divine requirements.

As Moses rehearsed to Israel the provisions of God for their deliverance, “the people bowed the head and worshiped.” The glad hope of freedom, the awful knowledge of the impending judgment upon their oppressors, the cares and labors incident to their speedy departure—all were for the time swallowed up in gratitude to their gracious Deliverer. Many of the Egyptians had been led to acknowledge the God of the Hebrews as the only true God, and these now begged to be permitted to find shelter in the homes of Israel when the destroying angel should pass through the land. They were gladly welcomed, and they pledged themselves henceforth to serve the God of Jacob and to go forth from Egypt with His people.

The Israelites obeyed the directions that God had given. Swiftly and secretly they made their preparations for departure. Their families were gathered, the paschal lamb slain, the flesh roasted with fire, the unleavened bread and bitter herbs prepared. The father and priest of the household sprinkled the blood upon the doorpost, and joined his family within the dwelling. In haste and silence the paschal lamb was eaten. In awe the people prayed and watched, the heart of the eldest born, from the strong man down to the little child, throbbing with indefinable dread. Fathers and mothers clasped in their arms their loved first-born as they thought of the fearful stroke that was to fall that night. But no dwelling of Israel was visited by the death-dealing angel. The sign of blood—the sign of a Saviour’s protection—was on their doors, and the destroyer entered not.

At midnight “there was a great cry in Egypt: for there was not a house where there was not one dead.” All the first-born in the land, “from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle” had been smitten by the destroyer. Throughout the vast realm of Egypt the pride of every household had been laid low. The shrieks and wails of the mourners filled the air. King and courtiers, with blanched faces and trembling limbs, stood aghast at the overmastering horror. Pharaoh remembered how he had once exclaimed, “Who is Jehovah, that I should obey His voice to let Israel go? I know not Jehovah, neither will I let Israel go.” Now, his heaven-daring pride humbled in the dust, he “called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said. Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said…. And be gone; and bless me also.” The royal counselors also and the people entreated the Israelites to depart “out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.”

    The Coronation They Missed Twice…

Yeshua riding into Jerusalem on a donkey was not a gesture of humility. It was a precise coronation protocol — and the crowd knew it.

When David was dying, he commanded that his son Solomon ride on the king’s own mule (פִּרְדָּה, pirdah) through Jerusalem to Gihon to be anointed (1 Kings 1:33-34). The mule/donkey was the Davidic royal mount — not the warhorse of a foreign conqueror, but the deliberate mark of legitimate dynastic succession. Adonijah, the usurper, rode a chariot with horses (1 Kings 1:5). That contrast was intentional and politically loaded.

Zechariah 9:9 isn’t romanticizing weakness. It’s encoding a coronation signal: your King comes to you, righteous and victorious, riding the mount of the house of David.

When the crowd cried הושיעה נא (Hoshana — “Save now!”) and “Blessed is he who comes in the name of יהוה” (Psalm 118:25-26), they were not being spontaneous. They were reciting the Hallel coronation liturgy. They were conducting a royal accession ceremony in the streets.

The Pharisees weren’t offended by enthusiasm. They were alarmed by precision. They told Yeshua to silence his disciples (Luke 19:39) because they understood the claim being made with surgical Hebraic exactness.

The bitter irony: Israel had been waiting for the Son of David to ride in on that donkey — and when he did, exactly as prescribed, in the city of David, with the coronation psalms, the religious establishment rejected the protocol they themselves had preserved.

They were guardians of the script who refused to recognize the King when he performed it perfectly. Here is the counterintuitive reality most Western readers never see:

MSN News Misrepresents the Seventh-day Sabbath, Falsely Claiming it Belongs to Israel, Not Christians

On March 20, 2026, MSN News published an article claiming that keeping Saturday as the Sabbath was intended only for Israel and not for the Christian church. It further falsely stated that neither Jesus nor Paul ever spoke about the Sabbath, using this claim to reject the seventh-day Sabbath altogether. Once again, this type of reporting by the mainstream media aligns perfectly with longstanding Roman Catholic teachings on rest and worship and contributes to the growing movement to promote Sunday within society.

    MSN News published the following:

    • “The Bible says that the Sabbath, the fourth commandment, was a sign given to the nation of Israel. Christians do not keep the biblical Saturday Sabbath, because Christianity is not Israel, and because the Lord Jesus Christ is our rest. We try our best to keep the moral commandments of the law, which Jesus summarized as “love thy neighbor as thyself.” When listing commandments to follow, as recorded in the New Testament, neither Jesus nor Paul mentioned the Sabbath—just the moral commands.” [1]

First, the argument that the Sabbath belongs only to Israel ignores its origin at Creation. The Sabbath was not introduced at Sinai; it was established in Eden when God rested on the seventh day: “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:2-3.

This took place long before the existence of the Jewish nation, indicating that the Sabbath was designed for all of God’s children. Jesus affirmed the universal application of the Sabbath when He declared, “The sabbath was made for man” (Mark 2:27). The language includes all nations and people, not only Jews. Therefore, to dismiss the Sabbath on the basis that Christians are not Israel is to overlook the clear teachings of the Bible.

Second, while it is true that Jesus offers spiritual rest to the weary (Matthew 11:28), Scripture never presents this rest as a replacement for obedience to God’s commandments. Instead, Christ’s rest addresses the burden of sin, not the removal of the moral law. The idea that spiritual rest eliminates the need for obedience is not biblical. Christ is our righteousness, but it does not eliminate the need for righteous living. Christ being the truth does not eliminate truth. And Christ being our rest does not abolish the Sabbath commandment.

Hebrews 4:9 explicitly states, “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.” The Greek New Testament word for “rest” in the verse is “sabbatismos,” implying Sabbath-keeping. The verse literally says that there remains a “Sabbath-keeping” for the people of God. This indicates that the Sabbath continues to hold relevance even after the cross.

Third, the claim that Christians must only follow parts of the moral law ignores that the Sabbath is part of it. The Ten Commandments, written by the finger of God on stone, represent an unchanging moral standard. The fourth commandment—“Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8)—stands in the middle of this law, not apart from it. There is no biblical basis for removing one commandment while retaining the other nine. To do so undermines the integrity of the entire law, as James 2:10 warns that breaking one point makes one guilty of all.

Fourth, the claim that neither Jesus nor Paul emphasized the Sabbath is not true. It’s a lie. Jesus Himself kept the Sabbath regularly, as seen in Luke 4:16, where it was His custom to attend synagogue on that day. Moreover, in Matthew 24:20, Christ instructed His followers to pray that their flight from Jerusalem would not occur on the Sabbath—an event that would take place decades after His crucifixion. This demonstrates that He anticipated the continued observance of the Sabbath among His followers.

Likewise, the apostle Paul consistently worshiped and preached on the Sabbath. In Acts 13, Gentiles specifically requested that Paul preach to them “the next sabbath,” and the following week nearly the entire city gathered. Acts 17:2 and Acts 18:4 further show that Paul reasoned in the synagogues every Sabbath, engaging both Jews and Gentiles. This pattern reflects not a temporary accommodation, but an established practice in the early Christian church.

Fifth, while love is indeed the fulfillment of the law (Romans 13:10), it does not replace the law. Paul himself illustrates this by listing commandments such as “Thou shalt not steal” and “Thou shalt not kill” immediately after affirming love as the fulfilling of the law. In the same way, the Sabbath commandment expresses love toward God by setting aside sacred time for Him and love toward others by ensuring rest for all. To remove the Sabbath on the basis of love is to misunderstand love’s relationship to obedience.

The Sabbath serves as a sign of God’s authority as Creator and a symbol of loyalty to Him (Ezekiel 20:12; Exodus 20:11). In the final message of Revelation, God’s people are described as those who “keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). The Sabbath, therefore, is not a side issue but a central expression of obedience and worship.

The claim that Christians are not required to keep the biblical seventh-day Sabbath, Saturday, does not come from the Holy Scriptures. The Sabbath was established at Creation, upheld by Christ, practiced by the apostles, and embedded within God’s moral law. Far from being abolished, it remains a lasting sign of God’s authority and a call to faithful obedience.

Pope Leo XIV Reaffirms the Catholic Church’s Commitment to Unite all Religions to Advance the Common Good

On March 25, 2026, Pope Leo XIV, in a clear effort to promote interfaith unity, praised initiatives aimed at fostering fraternity between Christians and Muslims. He emphasized that all religions share a common witness and expressed his openness to embrace what each religious tradition upholds. Describing these efforts as the work of the Holy Spirit, he called for greater unity among religions for the sake of the common good.

The Holy See Press Office published the following:

    • “I warmly welcome you and offer you fraternal greetings. I express my appreciation for your commitment to fostering fraternity between Christians and Muslims … I likewise thank the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue for its devoted service, which enables the Church to advance in dialogue with followers of other religions, and to promote peace and a spirit of fraternity among all.” [1]

    • “The Catholic Church calls for mutual understanding and respect for the followers of other religions, affirming that she “rejects nothing of what is true and holy in these religions,” for they “often reflect a ray of that truth which enlightens all men and women.” Indeed, every authentic journey toward unity and communion undertaken by Christians and by people of good will is the work of the Holy Spirit and requires hearts open to encounter and dialogue so as to embrace one another in genuine fraternity.” [1]

    • “In this regard, your ongoing dialogue with the Dicastery is a positive sign, calling Christians, guided by Christ’s love, to foster communion and deepen our commitment to Christian-Muslim cooperation for the sake of the common good. Through such efforts, peace, justice and hope will increasingly flourish in African societies and beyond. I likewise trust that these encounters will bear fruit through the sharing of grassroots initiatives to promote social friendship, the strengthening of partnerships, and a common discernment of those areas requiring urgent action.” [1]
Pope Leo XIV emphasizes that this so-called common witness between Christians and Muslims demonstrates how the world’s religions can unite to promote peace and the common good. This reflects the accelerating momentum toward religious solidarity under papal leadership—a development that Bible prophecy identifies as necessary for the formation of the end-time global religious system foretold in Revelation 13 and 17. The ultimate goal is to move beyond our doctrinal differences, declaring that every belief system—including atheism, pantheism, and pagan spiritualities—is equally sacred and contains divine truth.

The “common witness” and “common ground” now being promoted will soon make way to a common day of rest—a unified day of worship enforced upon all. According to Pope Leo XIV, our world cannot progress toward true peace unless it embraces a universal fraternal mission that every religion must accept. Through ecumenism, he is urging churches to set aside their distinctive doctrines and peculiarities in favor of a united global mission. He calls believers to come together on earth now since he believes all will be united in heaven anyway. In his view, every religion contains something sacred and worthy of respect.

To adopt this position is to abandon the true Christian faith. Tragically, more and more Protestant churches are embracing these dangerous ecumenical sentiments, not knowing that this is preparing the way for the final union of church and state foretold in Bible prophecy. A false unity will lead to the enforcement of the mark of the beast and the persecution of those who remain loyal to God’s commandments and the seventh-day Sabbath.

Donald Trump Urges Republican Senators to Pass Federal Legislation “For Jesus”

On Sunday March 22, 2026, President Donald Trump told fellow Republicans that they should not reach an agreement on funding the Department of Homeland Security until Democrats in Congress approve a bill, known as the Save America Act, that requires people registering to vote to provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Donald Trump told them, “Make this one for Jesus, OK. Make this one for Jesus. That’s what I tell them.”

Urging members of Congress to pass any federal bill “for Jesus” is fundamentally wrong because it reflects the very union of church and state—and the loss of religious liberty—that prophecy warns will take place in the last days. The government’s God-given role is to protect life, liberty, and justice—not to enact laws “in Jesus’ name.” When the head of state pressures legislators to act on explicitly religious grounds, civil authority crosses a sacred boundary, stepping into a realm that belongs only to God and to the individual conscience.

The Sunday law will be proposed for the very same reasons the President is using here—“for Jesus,” for morality, for national healing, for family values, to appease God’s wrath in times of crisis, or to restore so-called “Christian” principles within society. God has warned that such developments would take place. History consistently shows that whenever church and state unite—whether in medieval Europe or in more modern expressions of “Christian nationalism”—the result is the same: pressure and, ultimately, persecution against those who cannot in good conscience comply.

“The dignitaries of church and State will unite to bribe, persuade, or compel all classes to honor the Sunday. The lack of divine authority will be supplied by oppressive enactments. Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth; and even in free America, rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance” (Great Controversy, p. 592).

Kneel Before Christ the King” Declared as Eucharist is Lifted at Catholic America’s 250th Prayer Event

On March 19, 2026, the Catholic Prayer for America Gala was held at the Waldorf Astoria in Washington, D.C. Organized by Catholics for Catholics, the event brought together priests, laypeople, media personalities, a bishop, and a range of public Catholic figures. The gathering combined prayers and speeches and was intended as a national prayer initiative framed within the context of the United States’ 250th anniversary.

During the celebration, attendees were invited to kneel in reverence as the Eucharist was elevated, accompanied by a call to honor “Christ the King.” This moment reflected a central element of Catholic worship, in which the host is believed to be the real presence of Christ and is therefore given profound veneration. In addition, a formal prayer was offered dedicating America to Mary. This act of consecration symbolically placed the nation under her care and intercession.

The practice of bowing before the Eucharist and addressing it as “King Jesus” stands in direct contradiction to the clear testimony of Scripture and constitutes a serious form of modern-day blasphemy. The Bible plainly declares that Christ offered His body as a sacrifice “once for all” (Hebrews 10:10). It further affirms that He offered “one sacrifice for sins forever” (Hebrews 10:12). And again, Scripture emphasizes that “by one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified” (Hebrews 10:14).

These repeated declarations leave no room for a continual or repeated sacrifice of Christ’s body on earthly altars. To attribute His divine presence to a host and then bow before it is to give the adoration that belongs to Christ alone, thereby violating God’s commandment: “Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them” (Exodus 20:4–5).

We must also reject the reverence and intercessory role attributed to Mary because the Bible consistently presents Christ as the only mediator between God and man. Scripture declares plainly that “there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5), leaving no room for additional intercessors. While Mary is presented as a faithful servant chosen to bear the Messiah, she is never portrayed in Scripture as an object of prayer, veneration, or a channel of divine grace. Jesus Himself redirected attention away from exalting His mother (Luke 11:27–28), and the apostles consistently taught believers to approach God directly through Christ (Hebrews 4:14–16).

Mary, like all others who have died, rests in the grave awaiting the resurrection, not living consciously or acting as an intercessor. The Bible teaches that “the dead know not anything” (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and that those who have fallen asleep in Christ await His return (1 Thessalonians 4:13–16). Because of this, there is no biblical basis for seeking help, guidance, or access to God through the dead. God Himself warns against turning to the dead instead of the living, asking, “Should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?” (Isaiah 8:19). To seek God through the dead not only contradicts the clear teaching of the Bible but also diverts faith away from the only true and living Mediator.

As the acts of kneeling before the Eucharist and consecrating America to Mary unfolded at this high-profile gala in the nation’s capital—timed deliberately with the 250th anniversary of independence—they show that the growing Catholic influence in American politics is unmistakable. By boldly promoting “Christ the King” through the Catholic Eucharist within a politically spiritual event, the boundary between church and state is gradually disappearing. This closely resembles what happened in history when religious and political powers united, resulting in the persecution of those who chose to follow God’s commandments.

This event exemplifies the fulfillment of Revelation 13, where the second beast, symbolizing Protestant America, exercises its power to enforce the mark of the first beast, ultimately compelling worship in a manner contrary to God’s law. As these developments intensify, Bible-believing Christians are called to remain vigilant, steadfast in the truth of Scripture, and faithful to the seventh-day Sabbath—the true seal of God—amid the rising tide that seeks to substitute human traditions for divine commands, hastening the final conflict before Christ’s return.

Bowing before the elevated Eucharist closely resembles the ancient practice of sun worship, where the sun—often represented by a radiant circular disk—was exalted as the visible manifestation of divine power. In many pagan religions, worshipers bowed before this disk as it was lifted up, believing it conveyed the presence of a god. Presented within the context of Sunday Eucharistic observance, this practice is viewed as shifting focus away from the worship of the unseen God and obedience to His commandments, and toward a system that revives the counterfeit worship associated with Baal, the sun deity of the Canaanites.

“After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do: neither shall ye walk in their ordinances.” Leviticus 18:3

“But in vain they do worship me, teaching fordoctrines the commandments of men.” Matthew 15:9

From Lamb to Dragon: Secretary of War Pete Hegseth Claims that Without the Catholic Crusades, there would be no Protestant Reformation or America

Recent developments reported by The New York Times reveal a troubling and significant shift taking place within the United States—one that should not be ignored by those who understand Bible prophecy. In an article published on March 20, 2026, titled “Hegseth Invokes Divine Purpose to Justify Military Might,” it highlights how high-level leadership within the Pentagon—particularly under Secretary of War Pete Hegseth—has increasingly incorporated overt, medieval Catholic Crusade-era religious language into official military settings, especially in the context of an escalating war with Iran.

The New York Times published the following on March 20, 2026:

    • “More than any top American military leader in recent history, Mr. Hegseth has framed U.S. military operations in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America as bigger than politics or foreign policy. Often he has imbued these actions with a Christian moral underpinning that suggests they are divinely sanctioned.” [1]

    • “Mr. Hegseth posted a video that mixed audio of himself reciting the Lord’s Prayer with video of missiles firing, warships steaming and paratroopers falling from the sky.” [1]

    • “We face an essential test,” he told defense ministers from across the Western Hemisphere, “whether our nations will be and remain Western nations with distinct characteristics, Christian nations under God.” [1]

    • “Mr. Hegseth’s calls to prayer in the Pentagon press room and the monthly, voluntary Christian worship services that he has organized in the Pentagon auditorium are a stark departure from the way military chaplains are taught to minister to their flock.” [1]

    • “Mr. Hegseth, for his part, reaches back to an earlier era of the Catholic church to support his view.” [1]

    • “Tattooed on Mr. Hegseth’s right biceps is the Latin phrase “Deus vult,” or “God wills it,” which he has described as a “battle cry” of the Crusades, the ruthless medieval wars where Christian warriors fought to take over Jerusalem from Muslim rule. Mr. Hegseth sees those battles as perhaps the most formative moment in the history of the free world.” [1]

“In his book “American Crusade,” published in 2020, he describes the Crusades as “bloody” and “full of unspeakable tragedy,” but argues that they were justified because they saved a Christian Europe from the onslaught of Islam.” [1]

    • “Do you enjoy Western civilization? Freedom? Equal justice? Thank a crusader,” he writes in the book. “If not for the Crusades, there would have been no Protestant Reformation or Renaissance. There would be no Europe and no America.” [1]

    • “This is the view of God, Christianity and war that dominates Mr. Hegseth’s Pentagon prayer services.” [1]
When a high-ranking political leader in charge of our armed forces praises the Catholic Crusades as the means that saved Western civilization, including Protestantism and America, it demonstrates a lack of historical knowledge and serves as an indication of what is being planned for the days ahead. First and foremost, the Crusades were not merely defensive wars; they were also offensive religious conflicts, characterized by the use of force, bloodshed, and the union of Church and State. Praising them amounts to glorifying the idea that resorting to violence to promote religion is acceptable, rather than upholding freedom of conscience.

Secondly, it is not true that the Crusades helped preserve society or paved the way for the Protestant Reformation. It was God who preserved His truth and protected the reformers. In fact, there were several crusades launched by Rome to destroy the Albigensians, Waldensians, Hussites, Lutherans, Calvinists, Anabaptists, Huguenots, and many other groups that sought to follow the Bible. The truth is that Roman Catholics, under the so-called Holy Roman Inquisition, attempted to completely eradicate Protestantism.

Thirdly, this kind of thinking goes against the principle of separating church and state. The United States was founded to protect religious liberty—not to enforce religious ideas through government or military power. History shows that mixing religion with force leads to persecution and suffering, and praising the Crusades as a model for modern warfare sends the dangerous message that faith can be spread or defended by military powers—something that has always led to the loss of true religious freedom.

When Pete Hegseth uses the Catholic Crusades as inspiration for military warfare, it introduces the idea that wars carry divine approval. It unites faith with force, leading people to believe that military actions are aligned with God’s will. Such thinking makes it easier to justify war in the name of righteousness and reinterprets human conflict as a holy cause. Under this mindset of religious warfare, questioning modern military actions can be seen as opposing God Himself.

“Our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near.” (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p. 451)
The “image of the beast” represents a system where apostate faith and political force unite. This is not biblical Christianity but apostate Protestantism that uses civil power to advance church dogmas. What we are witnessing is the formation of this very image: a government that increasingly imposes religious identity through military force. These are early steps toward a system that will eventually enforce false worship. America is not yet fully speaking like a dragon—but the tone is changing. Our nation, which professes freedom while moving toward increased religious influence in government, is fulfilling this very contradiction warned of by God:

“The lamblike horns and dragon voice of the symbol point to a striking contradiction between the professions and the practice of the nation thus represented … And the statement that the beast with two horns ‘causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast’ indicates that the authority of this nation is to be exercised in enforcing some observance which shall be an act of homage to the papacy” (Great Controversy, p. 442).

“By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 451)
The United States has long been recognized as a nation founded on the principles of civil and religious liberty—a land where church and state were intentionally separated to protect freedom of conscience. This gives prophetic meaning to the description in Revelation 13:11 of a beast with “two horns like a lamb,” representing republicanism—a constitutional form of government—and Protestantism, with its emphasis on liberty of conscience. However, Bible prophecy also reveals that a transformation will take place, and this lamb-like beast will eventually “speak like a dragon.”
