Nick,
Hi KW,
IF is an equally suitable word.
It does not imply uncertainty IMO but shows it is not too much of an issue either way.
Not all die
I have always seen it as a conditional statement but then my background is in programming.
I do not believe he was concerned as Paul knew God would just make a new one for him after all God created Adam’s body without human effort and God that is in heaven knows the blueprint of each and everyone of our current bodies.

You claim to be guided by the Spirit but turn to experts and linguistics when challenged.
I turn to experts and linguistics when learning to speak English property but that does not mean the Spirit is not there teaching me by using them as a tool. God provides what he chooses in the way he chooses and only the foolish reject it. It is necessary to learn to judge the difference between what is good and what is evil.
September 4, 2014 at 9:49 am#748798NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Yes God makes everyone a new one fit for heaven.
Like that of the man from heaven

The one on the horse states he is making everything new and Scripture teaches us that is done by freeing creation from frustration and corruption.

You mean the one seated on the throne? rev21
You may hope for the same old body but better promises await some.
September 4, 2014 at 12:59 pm#748910NickHassanParticipantHiKW,
If Jesus in heaven is still flesh and bone does he need to go to the bathroom?
Are there loos in heaven?
September 4, 2014 at 1:04 pm#748911NickHassanParticipantHi,
“It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body”

Hi KW,

Throne is the correct word, horse is the wrong word.
It is not the same body it is a changed body as it has been freed from being subject to frustration and corruption. It is not a body that is subject to nature of this current world as the nature of this world is corruption. Instead one it is made new is is subject to the Spirit and so freed from its bondage to corruption.
September 4, 2014 at 1:53 pm#748929kerwinParticipantNick,
HiKW,
If Jesus in heaven is still flesh and bone does he need to go to the bathroom?
Are there loos in heaven?
Scripture does not say and since we will be like angels in reproduction there may be other changes.
September 4, 2014 at 1:59 pm#748930NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
So a different body?
I agree
September 4, 2014 at 2:02 pm#748931NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
The creation that has been under futility is not specified and it also does not say it only involves the bodies of men.
September 4, 2014 at 2:55 pm#748936kerwinParticipantNick,
Hi KW,
So a different body?
I agree
A different body does not mean that it is composed of a different thing as all bodies are not the same as humans have one body and animals have another. birds and fish another.
September 4, 2014 at 2:57 pm#748937kerwinParticipantNick,

I am convinced it is the whole creation.

September 4, 2014 at 3:00 pm#748939NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
And do you know what the man from heaven will be like?
Not the man from earth-ADAM
September 4, 2014 at 3:01 pm#748940kerwinParticipantNick,
I do not think heaven is included as humankind was not given heaven and it is their sin that subjected creation to corruption.
September 4, 2014 at 3:02 pm#748941NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Where does it say it was the sin of man?
Genesis does not quite say that.
September 4, 2014 at 3:06 pm#748945kerwinParticipantNick,
1 Corinthians 15:21New English Translation (NET Bible)
21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also came through a man.
September 4, 2014 at 3:45 pm#748988NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
And that does not say it.
Any more?
September 4, 2014 at 6:11 pm#749024kerwinParticipantNick,
Obviously you fail to understand the relation between corruption and death. For death came to the world through man. Perhaps this verse will help you understand.
1 Corinthians 15:22New English Translation (NET Bible)
22 For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
So just as in Adam all was subject to corruption so also in Christ all will be freed from corruption.
September 4, 2014 at 6:26 pm#749028NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
So you can ADD to scripture and it is OK?
