Is the site too slow to load sometimes? I find it quite slow here from New Zealand.
How is it for you and where are you from if you don’t mind me asking?
April 26, 2015 at 10:54 pm#795757princessParticipantthe site is awesome T8.
- homepage is a great source of info and reads. Prior too I would skip over.
- the forums are easier to maneuver through.
- the color scheme great choice.
- load time for me is a bit slow, haven’t had a problem with a page loading yet.
all in all, I find it much better. ’cause your awesome like that!
sorry T8, east coast USA

The site spread is nowhere instantaneous. It seems to be taking at least several seconds to change a page and probably more. I have not timed it so I am not sure if it takes 15 or so seconds or if that is just my perception. I worked at resizing the window and response time was fairly slow on the home page. Perhaps that has something to do with the actual size of the images.

April 27, 2015 at 12:06 pm#795794MiiaParticipantsite looks GREAT now.
i’m in nz too, speed seems a bit slow but compared to other sites: about average maybe?
April 27, 2015 at 1:30 pm#795806AdminKeymasterI will look at moving it to a fast server perhaps even today.
I will make sure no one is logged in when I do it.
Currently the site is maxing out the current server resources sometimes and that results in the site being throttled (put in slow mode) afterward for a time.
Then the process starts over again.
The solution is an upgrade in the hosting package. No point in stripping out functionality that is useful.
You can close that message about the server if you haven’t already figured that out.

Thanks for all your effort – WmMichigan midwest US
April 27, 2015 at 9:47 pm#795833AdminKeymasterThanks for the feedback guys.
Sounds to me like most of you are happy with the site except the speed.
So will probably move it this week.
Blessings.

April 28, 2015 at 11:48 am#795907MiiaParticipantHi Admin,
Don’t mean to trouble you now, seeing you will be busy continuing to make the site as good as it is, but did you know: I think most or all members can’t use the post features such as color, italic, bold, etc? (It shows up as added code and error). Which is why our posts are plain text (unless we know code). That is FINE, we have learned not to use those features (I’m assuming it’s not just me). But new members wouldn’t know, and it could be frustrating to them.Just thought to let you know.
April 29, 2015 at 10:08 am#796000ProclaimerParticipantI was not aware that the toolbar above doesn’t work for some.
It works for me as Admin and T8. My T8 login is the same as yours.
Is this true for others?
April 29, 2015 at 1:20 pm#796038MiiaParticipantMaybe it’s just me.
