Hi Nick,
John 5:19 “The Son can do nothing of his own accord, BUT……but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son DOES LIKEWISE.”
Ahh, Great.

Yes
God saves.
And for us through Jesus Christ.
There is NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN AMONG MEN by which we can be saved.

Luke 19:10 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
Jesus Christ is the Son of Man. Wonderful!!!

March 30, 2016 at 3:28 pm#811081Ed JParticipantEDJ….GOD THE FATHER IS THE SAVIOR OF ALL HIS CREATION
Yes Gene, (1)”Theomatics” (numbers related to Scripture) and (2)Scripture confirm this…
…………..“God the Father”(117) = “The Savior”(117)
“God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself” (2 Cor 5:19)
“In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established” (2 Cor 13:1)

Ed JMarch 30, 2016 at 3:50 pm#811082GeneBalthropParticipantDANNY DABBS. …IT WAS GOD “IN” THE MAN JESUS THAT WAS RECONCILING THE WORLD UNTO “HIMSELF” the “himself their is God thefather. SO WHO WAS DOING THE WORKS OF SAVING THE WORLD? , WAS IT THE MAN JESUS OR WAS IT GOD THE FATHER?, WHO WAS”IN” HIM DOING THE WORKS. Did JESUS SACRIFICE HIMSELF FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD OR WAS HE THW “LAMB” OF GOD WHOM “GOD” SACRIFICED FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLEWORLD. DOES SCRIPTURE SAY “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten (from humanity) son, that whosoever believes in him should not parish. Was Jesushis own sacrifical lamb or was he Godthe Father LAMB? YOU ARE A TIPICAL TRINITARIAN AND PREEXISTENCE, WHO IS TAKES AWAY THE GLORY OF GOD AND APPLYING IT TO THE MAN JESUS, THIS IS NOT WHAT JESUS SAID CONCERNING THE FATHER,” for I have glorified “YOU” ON THE EARTH,” JESUS AS WELL AS MOSES WERE INSTERMENTS USED BY THE HAND OF GOD THE FATHER, FOR HIS PERPOSE OF SALVATION, ONE WAS MOSES FOR THE DELIEVERANCE OF ISRAEL, THE OTHER WAS JESUS FOR THE DELIEVERANCE OF THE WORLD FROM SIN.
GOD THE FATHER IS THE “ONLY” TRUE SAVIOR, NO MATTER WHO HE USES TO DO IT THROUGH, HE ALONE IS THE POWER BEHIND IT ALL, ALL GLORY GOSE TO HIM, without exceptions.
Peace and love to you and yours. ……..gene

Why is Christ Jesus the only mediator between God and men?
1. Because he is the “Son of God” (God being his father and Mary his mother)
2. Because he is the only man lucky enough to not sin his entire life

Hi Nick,
Did you somehow miss the choice: 3. Other …?
Which allows others to define their spiritual knowledgeMarch 31, 2016 at 12:48 am#811129Danny DabbsParticipantGene, I’m not a Trinitarian. The Father and His Son are working together. You refuse to accept that Jesus IS the Savior of the World.
1 John 4:14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

March 31, 2016 at 3:48 am#811134GeneBalthropParticipantDanny Dabbs. ….IF GOD THE FATHER sent him and Jesus said the Father who was “in” him did the works, and Jesus as a true servant of God was doing God the fathers will, so again who gets creditfor the work of salvation no matter who he chose to do it through , rather Moses to deliever the childern of ISRAEL, OR the man Jesus to deliever the world from sin, it all IS TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER, JUST AS I SAYS IN ROMANS “TO DEMINISTRATE “HIS” RIGHTIOUSNESS. ROM 3:25-26, and read also ROM 8:31- 33, DANNY IT WAS GOD THE FATHERS WORK FROM START TO FINISH.
PAYING TRIBUT FOR SALVATION TO JESUS , AT THE EXPENCE OF GOD THE FATHER IS NOT WISE DANNY, MOST ALL CHRISTENDOM ONLY TALKS ABOUT JESUS AT THE EXPENSE OF GOD THE FATHER, YOU HARDLY EVER HEAR ABOUT GOD THE FATHER IN ANY CHURCH YOU MAY ATTEND, IT ALWAYS ABOUT JESUS, BUT THE TRUTH IS JESUS WAS A VESSEL THAT GOD THE FATHER BROUGHT INTO EXISTENCE, A PURE HUMAN BEING BY FATHERING HIM IN MARY, HE NEVER PREEXISTED HIS BERTH ON THIS EARTH. REMEMBER the old saying “they rob PETER and pay PAUL, So do many christians, they rod GOD the FATHER and pay JESUS, BUT true christians do bow to Jesus “TO THE GLORY OF GOD” , WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET THAT. IMO
Peace and love to you and yours. ……..gene

Hi Danny,
The Ordinary Jesus Brigade refuse to accept the divine nature of Jesus,
even though the bible calls “Jesus” the “Son of God” repeatedly.“Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us
through the righteousness of God and our Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through
the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, According as his divine power hath given unto us all things
that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of
the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:1-4)1. the righteousness of God
2. the righteousness our savior Jesus Christ3. that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature
…………..Glory to Jesus Christ our savior!
“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed
into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2 Cor 3:18)____________________

Ed JMarch 31, 2016 at 5:36 am#811137Danny DabbsParticipantHi Ed J,
Thanks for your support, although we disagree on some points.
We both believe that Jesus Christ was sent to be the Savior of the World. (1 John 4:14)
God Bless you.
Your Brother in Christ,
Danny
March 31, 2016 at 5:56 am#811138Danny DabbsParticipantGene, I worship them BOTH. The redeemed in the Book of Revelation ascribe their salvation to Him who is on the throne as well as to the Lamb.
Revelation 7:10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, AND to the Lamb.”
John 5:23 that all may honor the Son JUST as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
God Bless you.
Your Brother in Christ,

The builder builds in vain unless God is with him.
Who builds the house?
1) God
2) The builder
3) Both.Who is extraneous?
1) God
2) The builder
3) NeitherA short explanation for your answers in case we are not thinking along the same lines.
March 31, 2016 at 9:47 am#811141kerwinParticipantEd,
You only reveal you lack of knowledge by trying to make “Son of God” mean something it does not.
You are well aware that God call both those that received the Law and those that received the Spirit his sons.
Doing so damages your credibility.

I’m not seeking credibility from you, but thanks for the offer.

No because we have one God and one Lord.
God was in Christ but Christ was not God.

T8 started the thread and named it, not me.
