I have merged topics that were similarly titled like ‘The Trinity’ and ‘Trinity Doctrine’. This has led to some topics increasing quite a bit in size but you will not notice any lag or performance issues. The merge placed the posts by date order so the conversation is preserved. If two posts happened to be the exact same date and time, the imported post was placed 1 second apart.
I may merge other topics too. And the old forum couldn’t handle big topics, so I use to split them. The current forum is built in such a way that it matters not how big a topic gets.
The three topics that have had numerous topics merged with them are the top three topics in the following page.
