Not by might, nor by strength but by My Spirit.
Be still and know that I am God.
Obedience to external restrictions restrictions doesn’t change the heart.
It just turns religious men into whited sepulchres full of dead men’s bones.
Only the cleansing offered by God in baptism can set men free from sin’s control.
The Christ came to offer the forgiveness of God and set men free from sin in the flesh.
But the Spirit of Grace has always been there to enable the godly minded who fed on the word.
