Kerwin……While we did preexist the actual berthing process in the womb of our mothers, having becme a product of our Father and Mothers DNA, of course that does not mean we ever existed before that process took place. Does that DNA process cause us all to mentally process things differently or is it a different spirit intellect formed in us by GOD in the berthing process, i don’t know, scripture does seen to suggest that, as you brought out by what is written in JERMIAH, but all that was taking place in the womb. Does all that mean we were existing as a sentinal being before we were on this earth as a human being, i highly dought it, at least i have no recollection of any preexisting life activity before my berth brother.

Genesis 2:7 teaches us the soul is non-living before we are made in our mother’s womb.

To test the scriptures you need scriptures to compare and validate

2) I did not mean my statement to imply the soul is existent before it became living but rather to leave whether it existed or not unclear.
3) I am not sure what you conclusion is since the man of both soil and breath is called a living soul but also has a living soul.

The point is that it is that as far as the evidence you have souls may or may not be preexistent.

I have already quoted a passage that could be used as evidence to make the case that they are as well as one to make the case that they are not.

A related question is why do those who believe that Jesus is preexitent not believe that humans such as Jeremiah are not?
