hi Nick
Hi,
Jesus made it very plain he was a son of Adam[man]
So do the holy scriptures in acts 2.22 and 1 tim 2.5
But those who follow tradition have other ideas.
————————————————————————
Jn 3:13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.
well then Jesus lied with your view ;

I believe sincerely that you cannot see anything that is true in the scriptures ,so get your placebo religion of yours and bye
April 14, 2016 at 3:33 pm#811794NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
Jesus Christ has come in the flesh.
In fact the Word was made flesh.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
If you understand this you will know that Jesus Christ was in heaven with the Father-as the Spirit, the Word.

words do not come in flesh ,that is your deception and so your ruine ,
you have no scriptures that says that for you will have to interpret those scriptures with your own code
April 14, 2016 at 3:50 pm#811798NickHassanParticipantHi ED,
Yes we know you believe this but struggle to find any scriptural support.

Hi Pierre,
“The Spirit of Christ” was in the Prophets,
but “The Word” of the LORD came to the Prophets.===================================================================
yes that is what scriptures says but why did it say that ?
Lk 24:25 He said to them, “How foolish you are, and how slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
Lk 24:26 Did not the Christ have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?”
Lk 24:27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himselfJesus also said that many of the prophet wished to see the day of his coming and saw it ,
yes many had written about Jesus coming but many did not understand it either ,this is why it says ;
Rev 22:6 The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”
April 14, 2016 at 4:03 pm#811801Ed JParticipantJesus was born with “the Spirit of Christ”.

Hi Nick,
No struggle:
Micah 5:2, Luke 2:11, Matt. 2:4, Luke 1:35_______________

Ed JApril 14, 2016 at 4:14 pm#811802kerwinParticipantEd,
It is not logos = Holy Spirit.
There is a link between the two that allows one to be swapped for the other but that does not mean they are the same.
You can claim it is equivalent in those cases where it can be swapped out replaced with the other.
April 14, 2016 at 4:39 pm#811804kerwinParticipantEd,
None of those passages actually support your claim. If they did I would use them as evidence of my claim that Jesus was born of Spirit by the time he was first tempted of sin. As it is that can be accomplished with other passages.
Of course Jesus was born with his human spirit.
I am more interested in whether you acknowledge Jesus became part of the unity of the Spirit when he received the Spirit of God or before he received the Spirit of God.
I do no not see how you can rationally believe the later but humans have the habit of making irrational answers when their deeply held teachings are challenged.
April 15, 2016 at 2:57 am#811833terrariccaParticipantKerwin
you say;Of course Jesus was born with his human spirit.
what you mean by that ?
April 15, 2016 at 3:45 am#811836GeneBalthropParticipantTerricca, Kerwin means a human spirit, just like we all are i think, and that is true in my opinion to, then when he was baptized at the JORDAN RIVER, THAT IS WHERE HE RECIEVED THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD INTO HIM, AND FROM THERE HE BECAME THE CHRISTO’S A SPIRITUAL LED SON OF GOD, AND FROM THERE HE WAS SENT OUT INTO THE WORLD WITH THE POWER OF GOD, TO PREACH THE GOSPLE OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
WE allmust be born of spirit and water again, andthat included the man Jesus also.IMO
peace and love to you and yours. ………gene
April 15, 2016 at 6:47 am#811837NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
You appear not to understand the use of supporting verses.
None of you three verses say the same thing.
You are trying to build a doctrine out of inferences that taken together appear to point at your preconceived conclusion.
Scripture is very malleable and misused can be made to justify almost any foolish dogma.
April 15, 2016 at 7:05 am#811838NickHassanParticipantHi Ed,
The wisdom of God says
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Because of this spiritual truth it can be said that the Christ has been born.

when you are blind to the very truth of the scriptures your faith is more like a placebo pill

Yes as those of the Spirit knew the child born in Bethlehem was APPOINTED for the rise and fall of many in Israel..Lk 2.34
The Grace of God was upon him. Lk 2.40

“The Spirit of Christ” came from everlasting to Bethlehem – NOT from everlasting to Jordan.
…it is this that you keep denying.
