Hi MB,
Have you yet heard the Voice of the Spirit through the man Jesus
or do you STILL only hear the man and make presumptions about him?June 24, 2012 at 11:15 pm#304011mikeboll64BlockedJesus is no longer a man, Nick, so both questions are null and void.
1. Nick, can you name the individual person John said dwelled among us with the glory of the only begotten from the Father?
2. Will you list a scripture that will teach me of “the spirit of the anointing”, so I can read more about this spirit?

he is not the SON OF MAN who will return?June 24, 2012 at 11:17 pm#304013NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
You do need to learn of the Spirit.June 24, 2012 at 11:22 pm#304015mikeboll64BlockedI await your answers to my two questions.

Did not the Son become a temple for the Glorious and Living God?
You can follow him.June 24, 2012 at 11:32 pm#304022NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
Acts 10.38June 24, 2012 at 11:47 pm#304030mikeboll64BlockedNick
I still await your answers to the two questions on the 7th post on page 410. Btw, Acts 10 speaks of the Holy Spirit, not some “spirit of anointing”.

Do you prefer ones tailored to your understanding?

Stop shouting and read my replies.June 24, 2012 at 11:56 pm#304037mikeboll64BlockedThe only reply I saw was Acts 10. Read MY reply to your reply: It speaks of the HOLY SPIRIT, not some “spirit of anointing”.
I await a NAME for my first question, and a SCRIPTURE that actually teaches me about “the spirit of the anointing” for my second.
Ready, set, GO!

Nick.Jesus did not become the temple of the living God:
He IS the temple of the living God.
There was not a moment in time that he was not the temple of God.
We are the temple of God only if we let Gods spirit dwell in us.
The fullness of God dwelleth in Jesus;therefore is he the IMAGE OF GOD.wakeup.

You claim“John testifies that John the Baptist saw the Word in Jesus prior to his immersing the later. “
Check what the PROPHET actually said.
Nick;I am speaking of what John the gospel writer states John the Baptist was speaking of in John 1:15.
In Matthew 3:14 John the Baptist states that it is he that needs to be immersed by Jesus; even before Jesus was immersed in water.
I agree that his immersion established him as a priest in the order of Melchizedek and that it is the first time Scripture reveals that acknowledged that Jesus is his Son. Even though I am convinced of these things; I also know that the Word was already in him doing its work.

KQuote How do you see the wind?
like in this verseJn 3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
1Co 2:14 The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 2:15 The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment:so a man that would be born again ,would be a man that someone ears and goes about the things of God and of the kingdom, right ,?
never forget that it is Gods holy spirit does the work the tully born again man becomes the instrument of Gods will ,and so it is with the wind ,only God knows
June 25, 2012 at 11:54 pm#304128kerwinParticipantT;
You are correct in that is how you see the Word within someone.

And is that also the definition of “logos” in Revelation 19:13, Marty? If not, what/who does the word “logos” refer to in that verse?
