    Hi Gene,

YOU: Carmel…..And you also change the “image” of God into the “image” of a corruptible man,  the Son of man, Jesus Christ.

Who himself said over 80 times he was a “son of man”.

ME: Gene, the term Son of Man does not confirm that Jesus is not divine.

THE FACT THAT JESUS CALLED HIMSELF SO IS ENOUGH PROOF THAT HE WAS NOT

    JUST A HUMAN BEING ONLY.

YOU: You have taken the human being , “JESUS”, and turned the “IMAGE” of him into your GOD.  Which makes him into “a man of sin”, because, it brakes the commandments of our God,  “you shall have “NO” other God besides me” .

Romans 1:21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Gene ARE YOU IN THE POSITION TO EXPLAIN WHO

    THIS GOD MENTIONED ABOVE IS?

DON’T TELL ME THAT THE GOD THEY KNEW IS

    GOD THE FATHER!

IF YOU DO, YOU WOULD BE CALLING JESUS A LIAR!

John17:3 And this is life eternal,

    that they might know thee…..

John17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee:…..

In the meantime just to remind you:

    Read this scripture:

Matthew 23:2 And whosoever shall swear by temple,

    sweareth by it,

and by HIM that dwelleth in it:

NOW, IF YOU BELIEVE IN THE TRUTH, ANSWER Gene:

    WHO DWELLS IN THE TEMPLE?

GENE, ARE YOU READY TO SIMPLY TELL US  WHO IS

    HIM?

    WHO LIVES IN THE TEMPLE!

Peace and love in Jesus Christ

Lu….She is completely delusional.  She said she saw Billy Graham , and Princes Dianne, in heaven,  neither of them have been raised from the Grave yet, They are still dead, according to Peter, no one has risen  yet, except Jesus.
There is only one human being, that has been raised from the dead  and given eternal life so far, and that is Jesus  Christ.

That’s exactly what happens to Trinity Believers, they are sent from God a “Spirit of “delusion”,  in order for them to believe lies, because they received not the love of the “truth”, just as  2ths2 says.   They not only believe lies the preach and teach them.

Lu….Your better off to just feel “sorry” for her, I know I do.

peace and love to you and yours………gene

You are right about these people, they cannot be resuscitated … they still have to wait for the moment chosen by God. But Jesus is not the only one to be resurrected, there are those described in Matthew 27: 52,53 not to mention Moses.

The body knows nothing when dead, but the spirit of the man is alive and with the LORD. The body will be resurrected into a glorified body in the future.

    Hi Carmel,

Once again I see you applying your own imagination instead of applying direct scripture.

Lets look at the passage you gave from John 8,

John 8:41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted*, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

Acts 10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; 38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

John 8:16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

Acts 13:23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: 24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

Jesus was not SENT out into the world until his baptism, not until he had the Spirit of YHVH dwelling within him without measure. THIS IS HE WHO PROCEEDED FORTH AND CAME FROM GOD, the anointed Jesus of Nazareth.

John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my Spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles….4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. 5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

2 Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

Recall again Isaiah 42, Jesus received the Spirit, a calling to righteousness where God held his hand and kept him. Carmel, how blind can you be? Jesus received the Spirit and was sent out into the world and they received the Spirit and were sent out into the world, as they were not of the world he was not of the world, they were from heaven above just as Jesus was. They came FROM heaven, FROM GOD.

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

    Recall again, I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Recall, How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Jesus of Nazareth said he could do nothing of himself. Jesus of Nazareth had the full measure of the Eternal Spirit come to dwell in him ECACTLY WHEN WE ARE TOLD THAT HE WAS SENT, where through that Eternal Spirit he was a light preaching the gospel, through that Eternal Spirit of YHVH he offered himself without spot. THIS IS HE WHO PROCEEDED FORTH AND CAME FROM GOD, thus making him come FROM HEAVEN.

    Hi Carmel,

Once again I see you applying your own imagination instead of applying direct scripture.

Lets look at the passage you gave from John 16,

John 16:48 I came forth from the Father,
and am come into the world: again I leave the world, and I go to the Father.

    What was said beforehand,

19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me? 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy. 21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

Acts 13:32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers, 33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. 34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

Acts 2:32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

My previous post already established WHEN Jesus came into the world, upon his anointing of the Spirit that he received without measure.

YHVH sent this anointed man, thus making him proceed forth from YHVH our Father. By that Eternal Spirit upon him he offered himself unto death and left the world, but he was raised up appearing to many as God’s begotten Son, having been born of the Spirit, where he taught of himself according to the prophets. He then left the world again being the promised Son of Man to be exalted to sit at YHVH’s right hand.

Luke 22:69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

All that the Father gives me will come to me; and whoever comes to me, I will not drive out.

[38] For I AM DESCENDED FROM HEAVEN,

not to do my will, but the will of him who sent me.

    In this way, pray therefore:

Our Father WHO IS IN HEAVEN,

    hallowed be your name.

GOD LIVES IN A PLACE THAT IS CALLED THE HEAVEN

THE PRE EXISTING SON OF GOD HAS COME DOWN FROM THIS PLACE OR IS GOD TO COME TO OUR EARTH TO DO THE WILL OF GOD.

In other words in John 16:28

I came out of the Father (who is in HEAVEN, and I have come into the world; now I leave the world, and I go to the Father. (Who is in HEAVEN)

    Hi Berean,

John 8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

Below proves Berean that you are wrong in how you interpret the above passage.

“I am from above” and “I am not of this world” mean the same thing.

The kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven mean the same thing.

Jesus was not of the world and THEY WERE NOT OF THE WORLD.

Jesus was from above and THEY WERE FROM ABOVE.

Jesus was sent and they were sent.

Jesus was the only begotten of the Spirit without measure and was THEN SENT.

They were begotten of the Spirit by a measure and THEN they were sent.

Jesus came from heaven, as in he came from God, as in God sent him.

Jesus was sent from above, as in he came from God, as in God sent him.

    Hi Jodi,

YOU: You INSERT your own imagination into passages all the while ignoring the truth clearly give to you and not applying it directly where it is to be applied to.

ME: In the above, you accused me that I insert my imagination into passages, of which I don’t blame you since you are not ready to look at scripture from the spiritual side of it, which in fact is THE TRUTH, as God the Father is spirit, and we have to adore, IN WHATEVER WE DO  the Father, both in

THE SPIRIT OF THE FATHER and IN

     THE TRUTH OF JESUS CHRIST.

Jesus, ACCORDING TO YOU AND GENE,

a mere boy of twelve, always as it fits you and YOUR IMAGINATION, was not anointed by the spirit EVEN BEFORE THE WORLD WAS!

Confirmed by Jesus in John17:5. Now read the scripture you posted hereunder:

Luke 2: 40 And the child grew,

    and waxed strong in spirit,

    filled with wisdom:

and the grace of God was upon him.

For you, what are these credentials attributed to Jesus A MERE BOY OF TWELVE  MEANS:

Do you simply ignore THESE EXTRAORDINARY ATTRIBUTES TO JESUS TO THE EXTENT THAT, DESPITE THE FACT THAT THEY ARE MENTIONED IN SCRIPTURE,

THEY SIMPLY MEAN NOTHING TO YOU?

READ AND PLEASE EXPRESS YOURSELF WHAT ARE THESE CREDENTIALS MEAN TO YOU:

READ, AND LET ME HEAR WHAT YOUR IMAGINATION  IS PLEASE.

waxed strong in spirit, (WHAT SPIRIT)

filled with wisdom:( WHAT KIND OF WISDOM)

and the grace of God was upon him.(WHAT IS THIS GRACE OF GOD MEANS TO YOU)

WAS NOT JESUS ALREADY SELECTED BY GOD?

DESPITE THE FACT THAT JESUS WAS

    OF THE HOLY GHOST.

WAS STILL MORE THE CHILD OF THE EGG OF MARY AND THE SPERM OF JOSEPH

THEN OF THE FATHER’S ONLY HIDDEN SPIRITUAL PROCESS,

    HIS OWN SPOKEN WORD

HE IS SPIRIT AFTERALL ISN’T HE

WAS JESUS  STILL REMAINED NOT SELECTED/ANOINTED  YET?

HOW MANY CHILDREN WERE ENRICHED IN SUCH MANNER THROUGHOUT SCRIPTURE?

Also please explain WHAT IS THE WORD “ANOINTED”  MEANS TO YOU!

DO NOT KEEP SILENCE NOW Jodi, please so we can move on and understand THE TRUTH!

Peace and love in Jesus Christ

WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS NOT ENTIRELY RIGHT ….

THE DISCIPLES THAT WERE NOT OF THE WORLD DID NOT COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN AS JESUS COME DOWN FROM HEAVEN ….

THERE WAS A MOVING OF THE SON OF GOD FROM HEAVEN TO COME TO OUR EARTH.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. (v.38)

I CAME DOWN (not present Time but past Time)

Jésus Said :I am from above…

Spiritualy he IS FROM above, because IN HEAVEN there are only spiritually good and righteous people

AND the disciples become righteous because of God AND Christ who is from Heaven and comes from Heaven

    Hi Carmel,

Luke 2: 40 And the child grew and waxed strong in spirit,
filled with wisdom and the grace of God was upon him.

The above passage doesn’t mean nothing to me, it MEANS EACTLY WHAT IT SAYS and it most certainly does not mean that the twelve year old boy needed to pre-exist or needed to be some half-breed one of a kind being in order for his God and our God, his Father and our Father, to have his grace upon him, or for him to be growing up being filled with wisdom and made strong in his spirit.

Carmel, Jesus could do nothing of himself (John 8:28), what kind of being he was, rendered him no advantage. He offered himself unto death through the Eternal Spirit of YHVH that was dwelling within him (Hebrews 9:14), as he had been born of it without measure at the river Jordan (Acts 3:34)

His advantage was he was the promised seed of David to whom YHVH would raise up to be our savior and be the Son of Man exalted to sit at YHVH’s right hand (Acts 13:23).

His advantage were all the promises concerning him that were SPOKEN by YHVH from the beginning. From the beginning he was called to fulfill YHVH’s purpose for His creation (Isaiah 46), for him to be the firstborn overall the new heaven and earth (Col 1:15, 18), a firstborn of many brethren ( Romans 8:29 ) sitting on the throne of his father David ACCORDING TO THE FLESH  made higher than the kings of the earth (Psalms 89, Acts 2:30)

The good news is that it is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh profits a man nothing (John 6:63). An anointed man begotten of the Spirit without measure for the purpose to speak those words of YHVH ( John 3:3,5,34), told you that.

The good news is that the Spirit of Jesus’s Father and our Father, his God and our God (John 20:17) is in all goodness, righteousness and truth (Ephes 5:9) and we are promised to receive that Spirit where it will cause us to walk in all of YHVH’s ways (Ezekiel 36 and 37), whereby we are worthy to thus live forever, as we are born of YHVH and cannot sin (1 John 3:8).

The good news is that the Spirit is life because of righteousness (Romans 8:10).

The good news is that we are to be baptized and drink of the cup of the One Spirit as Jesus does, but to sit on the right or left side of him is up to our Father (Matt 20:23). Jesus was raised from the dead where his body was not allowed to see decay and he was begotten of God on that day (Acts 1:33-34), receiving the Spirit according to a promise (Acts 2:33). By such he is the firstborn overall the creation that will never fade away, where at his coming, him being the promised first of many to be born of YHVH having His Spirit dwell within, will be fulfilled. YHVH’s purpose from the beginning was for YHVH to be ALL in ALL (1 Corinth 15:28).

Carmel, it’s all about the Spirit of YHVH and the fruit to which it produces, and the man Jesus being our example! It’s not about Jesus being God and coming to earth to temporarily be some one of a kind half-breed being.

Jodi…..Absolutely perfect, right on,  the Good New, is about God the Fathers purpose “from the beginning”  that “he might be “in all”, and “through all”.  It never was about Jesus being a PREEXISTING, God and “coming to this earth as a temporary human half breed”, who could do nothing of himself, and then returning Back to his,  God position,  in heaven again.

peace and love to you and yours……….gene

    To All,

Ephesians 5:9 For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.

Concerning the son of Jesse and David, to whom YHVH had promised that He WOULD BE a Father to,

    Isaiah 42:1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my Spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. 2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. 3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. 4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law. 5 Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: 6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Matthew 3:14 But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? 15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. 16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mark 10:39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized: 40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

1 Corinthians 12: 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. 35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. 36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Acts 13:23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise RAISED unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: 24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

1 Chron 17:11 And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. 12 He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever. 13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: 14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

    Luke 1:67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, 68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, 69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; 70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: 71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Jesus of Nazareth being our savior and called God’s only begotten Son has everything to do with him being the promised son of David to whom YVHV promised He would be a Father to.

It has everything to do with him being the only mortal man to have YHVH’s Spirit coming to dwell within him without measure, a calling to righteousness, BEING BORN OF THE SPIRIT where he then would enter into YHVH’s kingdom.

The purpose of this mortal man, the only begotten of the Spirit without measure, was to bring many Sons of God into glory, that they too could drink of the One Spirit that he drinks of. This mortal man died but he was raised no longer to return to corruption, being begotten on that day receiving according to a promise the Spirit, where all goodness, righteousness and truth exists. No longer mortal but a new creation, a new man, entering in as firstborn overall the creation that will never fade away.
