Adam was not made flawed. Everything God did in creation was good, yea very good. No imperfections at all. But Adam sinned and brought in the judgement of death and corruption “in dying thou shalt die”, both spiritually (cut off from God) and physically.
If Jesus were of Adam, as argued in this forum, then Jesus would have been a sinner like us all “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned:” (Romans 5:12). Sin and death passed down to all humanity by Adam’s disobedience. And all creation has been affected by Adam’s disobedience, God subjecting it to corruption. “For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” (Romans 8:20-22)
Yet Jesus was without sin as scripture teaches “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews 4:15
This Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, not of a man’s seed, carried in the womb of a Virgin to receive flesh and blood (be like Abraham’s seed), born “holy”, the “Son Of the highest”. He was a second Man from God, Adam being the first Man, direct from God by being begotten, in contrast to Adam the first Man who was a direct creation of God. There have only been two Men who have come directly from God.
What scripture teaches is that God made Jesus sin at Calvary, the Lamb Of God who takes away the sin of the world, pure, perfect, spotless, without blemish, to bears OUR sin (not his own) “has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21. “But he was wounded for OUR transgressions, he was bruised for OUR iniquities: the chastisement of OUR peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5. “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (Isaiah 53:6). Though Simeon, John, Zachariah, Elizabeth etc were righteous they were still of Adam and in need of redemption like all born of Adam who have the old (Adamic) man disposition. But not so Christ.
Indeed Jesus Christ has “washed us from our sins in his own blood,” (Revelation 1:5) and “made us kings and priests” and loved the Church (the bride) and “gave himself for it, that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” (Ephesians 5:26-27) and this is “church of God, which he (God) hath purchased with his (God’s) own blood.” (Acts 20:28). Amen “God himself was indeed in Christ reconciling the world unto himself”.
When Jesus was raised from the dead he ascended up to heaven to where he as a being was before (John 6:62; John 3:13). “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” (John 3:13). All three facets of this scripture are true I.e. ascended as a person, came down as a person, is in heaven as a person. You cannot pick and choose which bits you want to conveniently fit your doctrinal stance.
On returning to heaven as the Eternal being he was and now as MAN, scripture says “Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.” (Acts 2:33). He received the Spirit to pour Him out on all believing flesh (Joel 2:28-32). So began the new covenant (Jeremiah 31:31-34; Ezekiel 11:17-20; Ezekiel 36:25-27; Hebrews 10:15-17). Eventually those saved by grace through faith will follow Jesus the first fruits from the dead in the resurrection at the last day, their vile bodies being transformed into the likeness of his glorious body, as Phil 3:21 and 1 Cor 15 inform us. But now we can enjoy through the baptism of the spirit into Christ (Romans 6 & 1 Cor 12) newness Of life, free from the dominion of sin (Rom 6-8), delivered out of Satan’s kingdom of darkness (Heb 2; Col 1) and delivered from this present evil world (Gal 1). God sent his Son for this purpose so that at Calvary “what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.” Romans 8:3-5
This Jesus is also our High Priest who is after the order of Melchisedec “As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.” (Hebrews 5:6.). This Melchisedec was “Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life” and was “made like unto the Son of God; abiding a priest continually.” (Hebrews 7:3) who is a High Priest “not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an ENDLESS LIFE.” (Hebrews 7:16). What a glorious High Priest we have who has no beginning of days or end of life but has the power of an endless life.
What a Son Of God is Jesus. Glory. God “Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son” (this Son Of God) “whom he has appointed heir of all things, BY WHOM (I.e. the Son) also he made the worlds;” (Hebrews 1:2) as it says in Ephesians 3:9 “who created all things by Jesus Christ”. He (not a purpose or plan only but a person) was before Abraham, before John Baptist, the root of Jesse. As Jesus said himself he was “THE ROOT” as well as “the offspring of David” (Rev 22:16). Jesus said “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I (Jesus) am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” (Revelation 22:13), the same as is spoken of God himself “I (God) am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8).
The LIGHT who came to his own was the ETERNAL LIFE, which was with God, the root of David as well as the offspring of David, and lights everyone who comes into the world past, present and future.
Jesus was not born of water. Scripture says “This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.” (1 John 5:6). “Came by” refers to his being manifested to Israel and the world as to who Jesus was I.e. God’s Son, “the Son Of God”. It is God’s declaration (the testimony of God) on the earth as to the “who” that Jesus really is “And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” (1 John 5:8).
When Jehovah appeared to Abraham (Genesis 18) he appeared as three men (v.2) to whom Abraham bowed and addressed them as Adonay (used as a proper name of God only). Abraham prepared victuals for them, I.e. Jehovah, the three men. Jehovah manifest as three men said “Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;” (Genesis 18:17).

You said:
Jesus said the Spirit was upon him an anointing. He was the son of Jesse GIVEN the Spirit of Wisdom, Council and Might, Knowledge and Fear of the LORD. First you have a man and then he is Chrio (to anoint) becoming the Christos (anointed).
What does this mean, “he is Chrio becoming the Christos?” Please show me the verse with these Greek words in it.
Thanks, LU

May 14, 2020 at 9:11 pm#863919ProclaimerParticipantGod is not a man.
God is a spirit.
No man has seen God.
But God can be revealed through creation, angels, and man.
God is not a created thing.
May 15, 2020 at 2:43 am#863921GeneBalthropParticipantT8…..Right, God is Spirit, and being Spirit he can enter any of his creation and even speak “first person” through them. Can be a Angel, Man, or any of his creation, even a donkey, as in the case of Balam, or like the angel in the burning bush to Moses. Remember what Jesus said, if we are brought before a Judge reguarding the Kingdom of God, for us not to mediate on what we are going to say, because it would be given us what to say, and said it would not be us that speaks but the Spirit of God speaking through us.
It was not Jesus himself that said “destroy this temple, and in three days I shall raise it up”, that was not Jesus saying that, it was God the Fathers, spirit speaking through him.

May 15, 2020 at 3:03 am#863923GeneBalthropParticipantPilgrim. ….Do you honestly believe that God didn’t know from the very beginning that Adam would sin? He intended him to, in order for him and us all to experience “good and evil”. How else could we ever come to “know” what was good and what was evil? Haven’t you ever heard the words , “experience is the best teacher”. It may not be the easiest but it is the best teacher. Our heavenly Father know this before he ever created Adam and Eve. We could have never truly understood the difference between good and evil , without experiencing it first hand. This is how we have grown to hate the evil and love the good. Our heavenly Father uses all the evils and good in this world to teach us the difference, in this way we become more like him . Remember what he said after Adam sinned, “look man has become as we are “knowing” good and evil.
Pilgrim it all part of God’s creating process, that need to happen to makes us more like him.
Peace and love to you and yours. ………gene
May 15, 2020 at 3:45 am#863924JodiParticipantHi Lu,
Please explain as the God in the below passage is not the Son, and it was not the Son that spoke in times past unto the fathers, God did in divers manners. We read in the OT prophets receiving God’s word through angels, visions, and dreams.
Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;
Isaiah says he received the word of Yah through a vision. This makes the God in Hebrews 1 Yah, and the Son is not Yah. The word of Yah that came to Isaiah spoke of the coming Messiah. David received Yah’s word from Nathan who received it also through a vision. Yah was going to make David’s son into His own Son and settle him in His house and give him an eternal kingdom.
We read in the above passage that Yah’s Son was appointed to be an heir of all things. Below we read that it is a Son of Man who receives dominion overall the works of Yah’s hands.
Psalm 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
Psalm 72:1 Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king’s son. 2 He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. 3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. 4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. 5 They shall fear thee as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations. 6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. 7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endureth. 8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. 9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
Apply this to Isaiah 11,
1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2 And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: 4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Apply Psalm 8 and 72 along with Isaiah 11 to Paul’s words,
1 Corinthians 15: 21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. 23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming. 24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. 25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Lu the truth is laid out clearly, the Son in Hebrew 1 is the son of David to whom Yah had promised He would make into His own Son where Yah would settle him in His house and give him an eternal throne with dominion overall the works that Yah had made. We read indeed that it is a Son of Man that ascends to heaven having been exalted to sit at Yah’s right hand, David’s son settled in Yah’s house.
Christ according to Paul is a human who was raised first in an order among dead humans. Yah had said in prophecy through a vision that He was going to bring down enemies by the son of Jesse, by a Son of Man. The Father in 1 Corinthians 15 is Yah, and this human Paul speaks of is Yah’s Son. As we are told in Acts Christ receives his father David’s throne where he sits on it according to the flesh. Paul tells us in Romans 1 that Jesus Christ is God’s Son not just according to the Spirit but according to prophecy, of which prophecy was that FIRST you have the son of David and THEN Yah MAKES him into His own Son.
Lu, you say that Jesus is God’s only begotten Son in 3 ways, none of those ways are true according to scripture.
Jesus was begotten of the Spirit at the river Jordan declared at that moment to be God’s Son and this is exactly when we see that Jesus IS SENT into the world. This was Yah’s word spoken in a VISION made true in the flesh, where Jesus was filled with grace and truth by the Spirit, filled with the Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Council and Might, Knowledge and fear OF YAH. That Spirit was a witness unto his spirit that he was thus a Son of God. Jesus CHRIST is called God’s only begotten Son, that is because Jesus was begotten of the Spirit not by measure, an anointing, having God directing all His ways, and he who is LED by the Spirit is a Son of God. This one and only mortal man was the only son of God to have God direct ALL his ways and he died. He was not raised an only begotten Son he was raised a first begotten of the dead, a firstborn of many, as others are to follow him in this NEW BIRTH which is a complete change, a renewing of the Holy Spirit. You are directly told that Jesus was raised receiving the PROMISED Holy Spirit and the sure mercies of David, and you read in Ezekiel 36 that Yah gives humans a new heart of flesh and He puts His Spirit upon them causing them to walk in all His ways. You also read that we are JOINT HEIRS with Christ, being heirs of God.
Matthew 19: 28 And Jesus said unto them,Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration (NEW BIRTH) when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Titus 3: 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration (NEW BIRTH), and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Col 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence (first place). 19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell; 20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
ALL the fulness dwells in the human that was raised first from the dead. ALL things that Yah made He did so by reason of and for him, without him nothing would have been made that was made, for by ONE MAN would Life and Righteousness come. All things were made FOR this beginning for the NEW BIRTH, humans dwelling in the image of Yah where Yah’s Spirit causes humans to walk in all His ways, for when Yah made earth alone, by Himself, He did not do so in vain, He made it to be inhabited BY the son of David who was MADE lord and Christ and sits on a throne according to the flesh ruling over his brothers and sisters.
Yah had determined the times before appointed the bounds and habitations of men, He would settle them in His house where He makes a man a firstborn higher than all the kings of the earth.

ONE KIND OF KINGDOM OF GOD:
THE KINGDOM OF THE SON.

Now Jodi,
Show us your reasoning, obvious CARNALLY, as spiritually you are completely BLOCKED, WITH EVERY RESPECT.
WHEN THIS KINGDOM OF THE SON COMMENCED, and if it is OF THE SON,
WHEN AND HOW DID THE SON PARTICIPATE IN HIS OWN
KINGDOM TO BE?
HOW AND WHY IT IS ATTRIBUTED TO

May 15, 2020 at 6:47 am#863928JodiParticipantHi Carmel,
Col 1:2 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: 13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Did you catch that Carmel???????
We give thanks to the FATHER FOR it is HE who delivered us from the power of darkness.
How did our ONE GOD THE FATHER do that?
He did it by placing His Spirit on the Son of Man, Jesus the son of Jesse, whereby that Spirit our ONE GOD THE FATHER directed all this humans ways so that he could be for a LIGHT, so that he could follow ALL of our ONE GOD THE FATHER’S COMMANDS.
Carmel, the kingdom of the Son is the Father’s kingdom that He gives to the Son to rule over UNTIL all enemies are destroyed, THEN our ONE GOD THE FATHER comes down to earth to rule over us as He dwells among us.
Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Matthew 26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.
Luke 11:2 And he said unto them,When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Luke 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; 30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh THE END, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.25 For he must reign, untill he hath put all enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. 27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. 28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

I actually said that, not Jodi. I believe that the Jehovah that Abraham is talking to is the pre-incarnate Son of God. The other two persons with him are angels.
May 15, 2020 at 7:42 am#863930JodiParticipantHi Carmel.
There is quite the difference between Jesus’s words he spoke,
John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them,When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.
I BELIEVE THOSE WORD
verse what you falsely accuse me of believing
I most certainly DO NOT BELIEVE that Jesus was of no use. Our One God the Father used the man Jesus to execute His purpose upon anointing him with His Spirit.
Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring THE END from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I HAVE SPOKEN IT, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.
John 12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness….
…48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, HE doeth the works.
Through Jesus, our ONE TRUE GOD the FATHER made Himself known by having Jesus speak His WORDS and do HIS WORKS.
May 15, 2020 at 8:35 am#863932LightenupParticipantHi Gene,
You said:
LU……Glad you understand that “adonai” means Almighty God, now with that understanding go back and reread what King David said, “the LORD (adonai) Almight God, said unto my lord (adon) meaning a human ruler. the human ruler there was speaking about “the anointed man Jesus”.
It seems that you do not understand what the original Hebrew was in this passage:
Yahweh (not written as adonai) saith unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
BTW, “adon” Strongs’ #113 is also applied to Jehovah/Yahweh, not just human leaders, see here:
My point about Gen 18 is that Abraham is speaking to Yahweh face to face and Jesus said that no man has seen God yet Abraham was a man who was face to face with Yahweh. Many Christians believe that the Yahweh speaking and seen by Abraham is the preincarted Jesus. The other “men” with him were angels.
May 15, 2020 at 9:18 am#863933LightenupParticipantHi Jodi,
You said (for starters):
Please explain as the God in the below passage is not the Son, and it was not the Son that spoke in times past unto the fathers, God did in divers manners. We read in the OT prophets receiving God’s word through angels, visions, and dreams.
Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;
I believe that Yahweh, the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, sent the member who is the Son (the Word) within the Unity, to speak to the prophets and they in turn spoke to the “fathers.” The prophets saw the Son whom they called “the Word of God” or the “Word of the LORD” as an angel sometimes, in a vision sometimes or in a dream sometimes. However in the last days, the Unity of Jehovah speaks through the Son (a member of the Unity of Jehovah) directly to the people and not through a prophet.
It was the Son, that member of the Unity called Jehovah, who is appointed heir of all things and through whom Jehovah, the Unity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit, made the worlds.

Hebrews 1:God, who, at sundry times and in divers manners, spoke in times past to the fathers by the prophets, last of all, 2In these days, hath spoken to us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world. 3Who being the brightness of his glory and the figure of his substance and upholding all things by the word of his power, making purgation of sins, sitteth on the right hand of the majesty on high: 4Being made so much better than the angels as he hath inherited a more excellent name than they.
8 But to the Son: Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of justice is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9Thou hast loved justice and hated iniquity: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10And: Thou in the beginning, O Lord, didst found the earth: and the works of thy hands are the heavens.
11They shall perish: but thou shalt continue: and they shall all grow old as a garment.
12And as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shalt be changed. But thou art the selfsame: and thy years shall not fail.

Amen to your post on Yahweh being the unity of the Father, the Son and the Spirit. Very well expressed.
We are told that the prophets of old when enquiring and searching diligently about the grace and salvation that has come to us did so by the Spirit Of Christ “Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.” 1 Peter 1:11
Amen to your post that Abraham was speaking face to face with Yahweh (the Son) whom Abraham was calling Adonay, a title reserved in scripture for God.
May 15, 2020 at 1:47 pm#863937PilgrimParticipantTo GeneBalthrop,
Think through your argument Gene re: knowing good and evil. The implication of your argument is that God had to experience committing evil, “experience is the best teacher” in order “to know good and evil” (Genesis 3:22). This is patently incorrect. “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;” (1 Peter 1:15). “God is light, and in him is no darkness at all” (1 John 1:5).
Note also this:
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.” Isaiah 7:14-16
The Son Of the Virgin, the Child, never did evil, yet he learnt how to refuse the evil and choose the good I.e. the Virgin’s Son came to know to refuse the evil and choose the good without sinning, “in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin” (Heb 4:15) and “Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;” (Hebrews 5:8).
It would have been a tragedy for mankind had Man eaten of the tree of life after sinning and ending up eternally a sinner without ever being Holy. God has provided for man a redemption, reconciliation and salvation in the woman’s seed and protected access to Eternal life only in that seed (Christ), driving Adam and Eve from the garden and guarding the tree of life by the Cherubims and the flaming sword. Praise God. “And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.” (Genesis 3:22-24)
