Not true.Quote (Colter @ July 15 2012,17:47) Simply put, the pre-existent, eternal Son of the living God (who is a spiritual being) incarnate in the mortal person of Jesus of Nazareth in a miraculous way only understood on Paradise.
I agree that the pre-existent, CREATED Son of the the living God (who was, and is again, a spirit being) was made flesh for a while, and dwelled among human beings on earth.Quote (Colter @ July 15 2012,17:47) That spiritual being, who was known as Jesus, did not die, his mortal body died, it returned to the dust! The eternal spirit person of the Son returned three days later is a new form that resembled his former flesh.
Whatever or whoever DIED is whatever or whoever WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD. If only a flesh body died, then only a flesh body was raised from the dead.Quote (Colter @ July 15 2012,17:47) It is also consistent with saying that God (the Son of God) raised Jesus up again and reappeared to the apostles.
It is NEVER “consistent” to say the Son OF the Omniscient Creator of all things IS the Omniscient Creator of all things. It would also not be “consistent” to say the son of President Obama IS President Obama. Surely you can understand this, right? Also, what do you mean by “the Son of God raised Jesus up”? Do you mean to say that the Son of God, who never really died in the first place, jumped back into the flesh body that did die? Are you saying that the Son of God never really died as a ransom sacrifice for the rest of us?

Hi Jammin; “Christ” was born – as we all were.Heb 2:16-17 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Ok cool, Mike, why do you imply the pre-existant Son could enter the baby Jesus (at whatever point, conception perhaps) but you seem to take issue and say that the Son could not enter into a resurrected likeness of Jesus AS Jesus? This may open a can of worms but, Jesus never taught the meaning of his death…..the Pagan Mystery religion that merged with Paul's new evolving religion about Jesus, they already had an atonement theology, who was born a virgin, on December 25th, and even had 12 apostles. See?
Some hypothesize that Jesus Christ patterned his life from beginning to end after beliefs already familiar among religions that would ultimately accept him while his own people rejected him. The Romans, the Greeks, the Persians, the Egyptians, all had similarities in their own beliefs with the Jesus story before Jesus ever entered the world. I personally find that fascinating!
In the gospel that Jesus taught 3+ years before his unjust trial and crass murder, God was ALREADY FORGIVING. The new wine was put into the old sacrificial wine skins.
Anyway, that's my answer, the pre-existent eternal Son returned to be Jesus again just like he entered into Mary's child; he resurrected Jesus.

Hi Jammin,Jesus lineage explained
“Son of Man”: 25%; Mary's mother's lineage was of the tribe of Levi. (Luke 1:5, 1:36)
“Son of Man”: 25%: Mary's father's lineage was (Judah) through Nathan(son of David). (Luke 3:23-31)
“Son of God”: 50%: Jesus' Father was the “HolySpirit”; NOT Joseph! (Mathew 1:18 / Mathew 1:20 / Luke 1:35)
At birth: Jesus was 50% HolySpirit(God)(Matt.1:18 / Matt.1:20 / Luke 1:35), 25% Levite(Priest) and 25% Judah(King)!At baptism by John the baptizer, Jesus was filled with the HolySpirit(God) beyond measure! (John 3:34 / John 1:14)
Here is why Jesus is called both the “Son of Man” and the “Son of God”…

Jesus of the UB:(1655.4) 147:7.2 On Tuesday evening Jesus was conducting one of his customary classes of questions and answers when the leader of the six spies said to him: “I was today talking with one of John’s disciples who is here attending upon your teaching, and we were at a loss to understand why you never command your disciples to fast and pray as we Pharisees fast and as John bade his followers.” And Jesus, referring to a statement by John, answered this questioner: “Do the sons of the bridechamber fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as the bridegroom remains with them, they can hardly fast. But the time is coming when the bridegroom shall be taken away, and during those times the children of the bridechamber undoubtedly will fast and pray. To pray is natural for the children of light, but fasting is not a part of the gospel of the kingdom of heaven. Be reminded that a wise tailor does not sew a piece of new and unshrunk cloth upon an old garment, lest, when it is wet, it shrink and produce a worse rent. Neither do men put new wine into old wine skins, lest the new wine burst the skins so that both the wine and the skins perish. The wise man puts the new wine into fresh wine skins. Therefore do my disciples show wisdom in that they do not bring too much of the old order over into the new teaching of the gospel of the kingdom. You who have lost your teacher may be justified in fasting for a time. Fasting may be an appropriate part of the law of Moses, but in the coming kingdom the sons of God shall experience freedom from fear and joy in the divine spirit.” And when they heard these words, the disciples of John were comforted while the Pharisees themselves were the more confounded.
(1656.1) 147:7.3 Then the Master proceeded to warn his hearers against entertaining the notion that all olden teaching should be replaced entirely by new doctrines. Said Jesus: “That which is old and also true must abide. Likewise, that which is new but false must be rejected. But that which is new and also true, have the faith and courage to accept. Remember it is written: ‘Forsake not an old friend, for the new is not comparable to him. As new wine, so is a new friend; if it becomes old, you shall drink it with gladness.’”UB

Lk 5:33 They said to him, “John’s disciples often fast and pray, and so do the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours go on eating and drinking.”
Lk 5:34 Jesus answered, “Can you make the guests of the bridegroom fast while he is with them?
Lk 5:35 But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; in those days they will fast.”
Lk 5:36 He told them this parable: “No one tears a patch from a new garment and sews it on an old one. If he does, he will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old.
Lk 5:37 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the new wine will burst the skins, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined.
Lk 5:38 No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.

Mt 9:15 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom mourn while he is with them? The time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
Mt 9:16 “No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse.
Mt 9:17 Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. Some people came and asked Jesus, “How is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees are fasting, but yours are not?”
Mk 2:19 Jesus answered, “How can the guests of the bridegroom fast while he is with them? They cannot, so long as they have him with them.

I will not consider this of any value ,this 147;7.3 is killing the truth that Christ is preaching ,again it stinks, sorry for the language, but truth as to be said.July 16, 2012 at 6:15 am#306060carmelParticipantQuote (Colter @ July 16 2012,14:12) Jesus was conceived like any other child, Mary and Joseph were already married. So according to you MARY HAD INTERCOURSE WITH JOSEPH AND GAVE BIRTH TO JESUS,AND STILL WAS BORN THROUGH AN INTERVENTION BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.
AND IF SCRIPTURE SAYS THAT SHE NEVER LOST VIRGINITY,AND NEVER HAD CHILDREN THROUGH JOSEPH,OR SOMEONE ELSE,
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY???

The Pagans had a belief in a savoir born of a virgin. It was believed that sin is translated from parent to child so a virgin birth was needed. The incarnation was a miracle even to the celestials, so I don't know at what point the personality of the Son became Marys child.

Colter. To ambrace your doctrine, one have to disregard the holy bible. One can not just pick and choose some scriptures,to satisfy our own believes.
To disregard the word of God, inspired by the Holy spirit,is therefore disregarding Jesus.
He came to the world to give light to the world, but the world comprehend it not,for the world is in darkness. And still is.God said in Jeremiah.''The land is desolate''.
There is a hunger, but not of bread, but of the word of God.
He also said,'' My people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge. No knowledge; no foundation to stand on in times of triulations.
But when Christ will rule in his kingdom, knowledge will cover the earth as the sea cover the earth, for satan is bound for a thousand years, and then let loose, to do his work for a season.

ColterWe all pick and believe according to what is in our hearts, the seduction for rejection of God word is of the devil ,but the love for God and his son is from the spirit of truth,

Some chose Jesus, some stayed with the OT scripture. Some picked and chose while others hid behind the false authority of the man made scripture.Colter

That's the logic of the religions of traditional authority. I am a disciple of Jesus, I was born of the spirit 27 years ago. You have no standing to judge my status as a child of God. Your legalistic quibbling though is akin to those who rejected the living word of Jesus.Colter
