Christ Jesus was in the form of God but emptied himself taking the form of a servant.
Was he still in the form of God?
that is right nick. he was in the form of GOD but emptied himself etc.now the question is, what is the meaning of he emptied himself?
he emptied not his deity, but he gave up his divine privilegesPhilippians 2:6-7
New Living Translation (NLT)
6 Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
as something to cling to.
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form,
Hi Jammin,Emptied himself? is no-where to be found in God's word, so your point is moot.

Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
What about verse 11
Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Can any of you define
to the glory of God the Father
To me it is equivalent to :
TO THE STATE OF GOD THE FATHER, till the last day of the lord Jesus Christ, then from that moment of that day HE WOULD BE GOD THE FATHER GLORIFIED IN JESUS' BODY.AND JESUS' SPIRIT WOULD BE IN THE SAME GLORY AS HE WAS BEFORE THE WORLD WAS.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word ( JESUS) be, which shall go forth from my mouth:(EMANATED AS A SPIRIT) IT SHALL NOT RETURN TO ME VOID, but it shall do whatsoever I please, and shall PROSPER in the things for which I sent it.( THEREFORE CREATED ALL,GLORIFIED, ESTABLISHED GOD'S SPIRIT WITHIN OUR CREATION THROUGH HIS BODY IN THE CHURCH,AND HE IS THE HEAD,AND THE HEAD OF CHRIST IS GOD.THEREFORE JESUS IS GOD )
Also in Jude 1:4……………….,turning the grace of our God( THE FATHER) into lasciviousness, and denying ( JESUS CHRIST)the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
THEREFORE Jesus is the only Lord God,
peace and love in Jesus.

It seems to me that Jude mentions TWO Lords in that verse, Charles. One of them is called “the only Lord God”, and the OTHER one is called “our Lord Jesus Christ”.The word “and” seems to distinguish Jesus as a DIFFERENT Lord than the One called “the only Lord God”.

Do you really not know that Jesus of Nazareth was put to death?
If you do not understand the Spirit of Christ do you have the Spirit?
Nick,I responded to this post, but then moved my response to the “Pre-existence” thread, so as not to derail this thread anymore than we already have.
