Quote (t8 @ Mar. 27 2012,08:42) Don't need luck jammin because to partake is to join in. And we are told that our lowly bodies will be transformed into a body like his.
We are also told that he calls us brothers. Brothers are of like kind.
And Jesus partook of flesh nature and he was a man, so he became like us.You still lack understanding with regards to the difference between identity and nature as do all Trinitarians who teach their doctrine.
And I noticed you did not refute my last 2 posts, so I take it that you could not and now you will be doing some searching on this subject. If not, then why are you a follower of Christ if you do not pursue truth. I say this in advance in case you ignore what I said in those posts. Please disregard if you are serious about checking it out.
yes bec he is not really man. he is GOd. christ was manifest in the flesh.but you are not GOD. you dont have that nature.

“And we know that the Son of God [Jesus] has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true[?]; and we are in him who is true[?], in his Son Jesus Christ. He [?] is the true God and eternal life.”
I would think this would be easy and you would want to do it.
Why don't you?
Jammin, 10 seconds of your time.I've never seen someone create a thread and then try so hard to avoid the actual scripture that they based the thread on.
Could you fill in the blanks of who you think is meant in each[?]?
Thanks.

Hi Jammin.I have found that when someone is confronted with something they can't respond to, their brain seems to shut down and they start typing random words.
(shout out to Nick! 🙂
david.
david answer my questionill repeat. the apple is green. it is so delicious

Well, there is only the one subject (apple) in sentence 1. So, the “it” which is delicious must be that one subject, the apple.
Now that I've answered your question, could you fill in the blanks for me, just so I undertand exactly how you understand 1 John 5:20?

thanks for the answer.here is your question
“And we know that the Son of God [Jesus] has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true[?]; and we are in him who is true[?], in his Son Jesus Christ. He [?] is the true God and eternal life.”this is my answer
1.GOD
2.you should not put a ? on that part bec it is very clear that it refers to the son.
it says, we are in him who is true, IN HIS SON JESUS CHRIST3. the last part of the sentence refers to JESUS.
1 John 5:20
GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
20We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding so that we know the real God. We are in the one who is real, his Son Jesus Christ. This Jesus Christ is the real God and eternal life.
March 27, 2012 at 10:15 am#288202jamminParticipantChrist is truly GOD.
john 1.1 also supports this verse.the WORD was GOD.
the WORD is the son of GOD, he became flesh and dwelt among us.the son and the father have the same nature, GOD.
just like you and your father, you have the same nature, MAN. you are truly man.
March 27, 2012 at 6:16 pm#288221NickHassanParticipantHi Jammin,
So where does scripture say the Son was with God in the beginning?
Jesus the man came to share in the nature of God by anointing from above.March 27, 2012 at 8:16 pm#288257carmelParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 28 2012,05:16) . Quote So where does scripture say the Son was with God in the beginning?
Hi Nick,
Explain hereunder when was the time Jesus is referring to,
\since it is before the world ever existed??
John 17:5And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
Peace and Love in Jesus

Hi MB,
Can you not grasp what is spiritual yet?March 28, 2012 at 8:45 pm#288499NickHassanParticipantHi Jammin,
Since you see three when God is one why would we need glasses?Jn1 talks of the Word-do you THINK this means the man from Nazareth?

Hi MB,
Can you not grasp what is spiritual yet?
I believe you are truly being led by spirit, Nick………….just not the right one. Test all things against scripture. Don't make up your own concepts that go against many scriptures and then try to pass it off as if we can't understand because we don't have spirit.Answer the question in the quote above, please. Did God Almighty have glory ALONGSIDE God Almighty before the world began?
March 29, 2012 at 12:38 am#288612NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
Did you not know that the Spirit in Christ Jesus said in jn8“I proceeded forth and came from God”?
The Word was with God and the Word was God
When will you believe?
March 29, 2012 at 12:46 am#288618mikeboll64BlockedJohn 8:42
Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here.”I'll believe when you can show me the scripture that says “the Spirit in Christ” said those words. The NIV says “JESUS” said them, not “the Spirit in Christ”.
