Like I said, I speak of one YHVH who is two persons, not two persons who are of different YHVH families. There is one family of YHVH. The Father and His Son are the two members with eternal and divine essence. Do you think that Proclaimer and Mike don’t believe that there is a family of YHVH?

Hi Sis Kathi, thanks for your reply to my post. Sorry I…[Read more]

The Son of God share the divine NAME OF His FATHER: YHWH

BECAUSE THE SON IS OF THE SAME SUBSTANCE AS THE FATHER

Who being(the Son) the brightness of his glory, and the EXPRESS image of his PERSON(substance), and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty…[Read more]

    Hi LU,

If Jesus is Yahweh, then that would contradict Isaiah 45:5.

“I am Yahweh, and there is no one else.
Besides me, there is no God.” Isaiah 45:5

    The Bible is a harmony.
So Hebrews 1 has to fit with Isaiah 45:5

If you disagree, then please tell me who is speaking in Isaiah 45:5?
If you say the Father and the Son together, then…[Read more]

LU: Paul understands the Father is also our “kurios” Lord, and Paul understands that Jesus is also our theos. In the context of 1 Cor 8:6, Paul is identifying two persons who are our God and Lord. In the NT when the context is speaking about the Father and the Son, they are typically distinguished as God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Tha…

    Hi Proclaimer,

    I finally got it.
God is not a nature. He is an identity.
    Thanks for making that clear.
It’s very hard to think clear sometimes because of
the things we were being indoctrinated in our past.

LU:   …the Hebrew wouldn’t put an ‘s after a family name. So Flintstone’s is the English way of including the whole family with the last name of Flintstone but not the Hebrew way.

Really? So because we use an “s”, while the Hebrews used an “im” or “oth” suffix to denote plurality, the case is solved?  Come on now, Kathi.  Let’s try this again…[Read more]

To all……Your using the word “firstborn”,  to mean first created.
Born is completely different then “created “.
Jesus is the first human being “born of the womb of a women, to enter into the kingdom of God.” He is also given by God that firstborn status of them who will also exactly like him will enter into the Kingdom of God also,   but none of…[Read more]

Theos is a Greek word used in the NT. In the NT, knowing YHVH is both God and Lord, the NT usually designates the Father as God and the Son as Lord.

Theos is used to describe more than the Father and the Son. It can refer to the following:

    • a god or goddess, a general name of deities or divinities
    • spoken of the only and true God
    • refers to…

I can’t help it if you keep misunderstanding things. Not my fault. Read my post again. It simply is saying that ‘theos’ can be applied to one or many. Further, I have taught in the past it can be applied to judges, Satan, idols, and the one true God.

Of course context and definite articles or lack of them…

    Hi Proclaimer

Tell me Berean. Was Jesus Christ the creator or were all things made THROUGH him?

I believe that Jesus is the CREATIVE AGENT OF THE FATHER, HIS GREAT WORKER.
THE FATHER IS THE DESIGNER (CREATOR) AND THE SON IS THE EXECUTOR.

JESUS IS FROM GOD (THE FATHER) OMNIPOTENT
    YES OMNIPOTENT

All things were made by him(“THE WORD); and without him was not any thing made that was made.

    Hi to all

Global Christianity is governed by one or the other of two different and opposing principles, which originate from two different conceptions of Jesus Christ.
