    Nick,

No it is clearly not an assumption as neither Adam or Eve did evil before they ate of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. In their innocence they were neither hid from the presence of God or realized they were naked. They were not servants or slaves to sin.

It may be they did not have a flesh nature as there is no evidence they were tempted by evil before the serpent tempted Eve to disobey God. If they did then God kept them from being tempted except in regards to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

Now that I have mediated on the matter I do not believe they had the Spirit and yet they did not live by the flesh. If so then the spirit man way upright and in tune with God’s Spirit before they ate of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil.

    Hi KW,

To live by the flesh is to obey sin in the flesh.

That dominion only began when they submitted to and obeyed the serpent.

Sin was standing at the door.

So how did you reach this conclusion again?

“And thus my point that they gained knowledge of HOW TO DO both good and evil but not the maturity to do only good”

    Nick,

You just stated that the dominion of sin in the flesh began when humanity ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. That sounds like the same thing as claiming they gained the knowledge of how to do both good and evil.

    hi KW,

The disobedience led to two things which are not the same.

They gained the KNOWLEDGE OF good and evil.

They submitted to the god of this world.

Does sin in the flesh teach how to DO good and evil?

    Nick,

Sin in the flesh teaches you how to do evil just as the Spirit teaches you to do all that is right.

    hi KW,

Since they did not have the Spirit does this not disagree with what you have said?

    Hi KW,

Surely it is the Spirit of grace that enables good behaviour.

But conscience , so long as it is not damaged, is a guide.

    Nick,

According to Revelations Satan is locked up for a thousand years and so there is no temptation in the earth for that time. If there is no temptation to do evil then there is no sin conceived. When there is no sin conceived then even the wicked behave like the righteous though it torments them.

Since it is a prophecy I do not like to use it for support of a teaching.

I know that Adam and Eve did not sin until they ate of the fruit and if they were mature in Christ there would have been forgiveness left for them. I believe there is forgiveness for them.

    Hi KW,

Does not Jesus offer to be an advocate for those in him who sin [1Jn1]?

Those kings and priests in the millennial kingdom are cleansed and forgiven and are not influenced by Satan.

Those not found in the first resurrection who are unsaved are not influenced by Satan at that time.

Lusts [sin in the flesh] drive those now who are yet in the world and not in Christ and when satan is released will revert to their previous behaviours.

    Nick,

The wicked will revert to their previous behavior once Satan is released from his prison. They will then primed to be deceived by Satan and so gather to Armageddon. They do not choose to come into the light nor do they want to be compelled to come into the light.

Hebrews 10:29Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

29 of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

This is one reason why I have come to the conclusion that Adam and Eve did not have the Spirit.

    Hi KW,

Apart from the fact it is not written that they did?

1 day’s decision separates the wicked from the saved.

    Nick,

Some things are literally written while others are implied. Jesus proved that the resurrection of the dead is written in the OT even though it was just implied.

Proverbs 25:2Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

    2
It is the glory of God to conceal a thing:
but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

This is also why Jesus spoke in parables.

    Hi KW,

Where does scripture suggest we should believe what we think is implied?

Are not implications individual and thus treacherous?

    Hi KW,

Just because men cannot see everything clearly in scripture is no excuse for trusting their own ideas is it?

It explains why you do not seem to seek scriptural support for your ideas at times.

I have support than you do as you seem to prefer tradition.

So as a jew are you bound by their traditional teachings?

    Is popularity a good sign?

    Nick,

Inferences are more treacherous than implications because they are mere hints. Implications are well reasoned conclusions and thus unbroken. They can however be untrue if the Spirit is not the guide. Conclusions based on flawed reasoning are not true implications though they are common.

We are to follow Jesus, who used implications to prove there is a resurrection of the dead. The Sadducees were more literal minded on that subject and so did not believe in the resurrection.

    Hi KW,

Reason is only a distantly relevant factor compared with revelation.

But it usually pushes to the front of the queue.

You quoted John 10:30. I and the father are one. Jesus translates that scripture for you and tells you what he means at John 17:22. He says “The glory which thou hast given me I have given to them; that they may be one, just as we are one.”

he’s talking about the Christian congregation being “one’..JUST AS; OR IN THE SAME WAY THAT THE FATHER AND THE SONE ARE ONE. If you believe he and his father being one…means they are the same exact people..than you must believe these Christians are either the same exact people, or part of the trinity.

    UMB5

    PERMIT ME:

Who is in a position to deny with certainty that the Christians are not part of the trinity?

IT’S NOT ONLY PART OF THE TRINITY, BUT

ONE WITH THE TRINITY! IN JESUS’FLESH BODY, SINCE ALL IN HIM……

AND GOD NEVER HAD FLESH YET, AND THROUGH THE PROCESS OF “THE WORD” the full power of the TRINITY in the Son, JESUS’BODY, HE BECAME:

GOD OF ALL FLESH! READ AND DISCERN:

Jereimiah 32:26 And the word: JESUS TO BE,THE FLESH BODY, THE SON OF MAN!

of the Lord: THE HOLY SPIRIT, JESUS’SOUL, THE SON OF GOD!

    came to Jeremias, saying:

27Behold I am the Lord:   THE HOLY SPIRIT

the God    THE FATHER    of all

flesh:      “THE WORD” SINCE ALL IN HIM……….

shall any thing be hard for me?

HARD HERE IS, ALSO A REFERENCE TO THE HARDNESS OF THE MATERIAL CREATION,

WHICH FOR GOD COUNTS FOR NOTHING, SINCE HE IS SPIRIT, AND SPIRIT GIVES LIFE TO ALL,

    SPIRIT CREATES ALL

SO BELIEVE IT OR NOT IS NOT MY CONCERN:

GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST PROCESS IS NO LONGER THREE, BUT FOUR, AND SINCE WE STILL ARE IN THIS MESS, IT IS QUITE CLEAR THAT GOD IS IN THE PROCESS TO BECOME

    FIVE!

    THEN SIX!

    THEN SEVEN!

    THEN GOD WOULD EVENTUALLY REST!

    Peace and love in Jesus
