    Hi Nick,

That will probably be just another question he will choose to duck,
as he does with all the questions that he doesn't want to address.

    Your brother
    in Christ, Jesus.

    Hi Jammin,
Christ Jesus was in the form of God but emptied himself taking the form of a servant.
Was he still in the form of God?

    Nick,

Jesus before became man He served God in creating our world.

Jesus before became man He served God in creating our souls.

Jesus before became man He served God by EMTYING HIMSELF to  create Mary's body.

Jesus was a servant before He became man.

So when He became man He was both a servant, and in the form of God.

He became man to fulfill all what He served for throughout the OT.

He became man to serve us eliminating Satan's spirit from within our souls.

He became man to glorify to a higher state to serve the Father, and become ONE with HIM as His dwelling for eternity.

    peace and love in Jesus

that is right nick. he was in the form of GOD but emptied himself etc.

now the question is, what is the meaning of he emptied himself?
he emptied not his deity, but he gave up his divine privileges

    Philippians 2:6-7

    New Living Translation (NLT)

    6 Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
    as something to cling to.
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form,

    Hi Jammin,

You're using terms that we DO NOT KNOW how you're defining?
What does “God by nature” even mean? Will you
define your use of this term for us?

God by nature means he's GOD!

    Philippians 2:6-7

    New Living Translation (NLT)

    6 Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
    as something to cling to.

    that's what the bible says

    Nick,

Phil 2:5-8 teaches that whoever was existing in the form of God is the same one who died on a cross.

So unless “the Spirit of Christ Jesus” died on a cross, you have some wires crossed somewhere.

    Hi MB,
Indeed Christ Jesus died on the cross when his own human spirit left him.
Did you not know the Spirit of Christ is of the Holy Spirit and abides despite death?

Perhaps you believe God is mortal?

No, I don't believe God is mortal. But I believe God's Son emptied himself of the form of God in which he was existing, and was made into a mortal human being and died for our sins.

Can “the Spirit of Christ” die, Nick? If it cannot, then Phil 2:5-8 is NOT about “the Spirit of Christ”, but about the PERSON Jesus Christ, who was with God in the beginnning, but then became flesh and dwelled among us with the glory of God's only begotten.

    Hi MB,
So your master did not survive death??

You still do not grasp the unity between Jesus and the Spirit of Christ.

    Jesus Christ died but lives.

Yep, the man Jesus Christ died.  But “the Spirit of the Anointing” did not die, right?

The subject of the teaching in Phil 2:5-8 is the one who DID die, Nick. The one who died is the one who was existing in the form of God before being made into a human being.

    Indeed CHRIST Jesus was.
But Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

    No Nick,

The very one who DIED is the very one who was existing in the form of God before being made into a human being.

So who died, Nick? The PERSON Jesus Christ? Or “the Spirit of the Anointing”? Which one?

    Hi Jammin,

Emptied himself? is no-where to be found in God's word, so your point is moot.

Surely you know that the Spirit of the immortal God is immortal?
When men given a share of the Spirit are host to this treasure despite death
