    Hi MB,
    You say
“Also, if it DOES refer to Jesus “christos” this time, then all it proves is that Jesus was the ANGEL OF GOD who God sent before the Israelites.  It doesn't in any way make a claim that Jesus is God Almighty, does it?”

Is this proveable or just an opinion?

Are you TRYING to contradict yourself, Nick? Or is your left hand unaware of what your right hand has done?

You insisted a while back that the entire nation of Israel was NOT anointed ones of God. But now you're saying the spiritual rock was the spirit of the anointing. And Paul says they ALL drank from that rock.

So which one do you want to be “right” about?

the verse mat 24.36 refers to his human nature. as man, he did not know the time of his coming.

So then, as a man, he WASN'T really “all-knowing”, was he?

    John 5:20
For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these.

It seems Jesus was NOT all-knowing, for his Father was still in the process of showing him new things at the time he said these words.

the nautre of man is not all knowing. but the nature of GOd is all knowing

    John 21:17

    Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

17 He asked him the third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love Me?”

Peter was grieved that He asked him the third time, “Do you love Me?” He said, “Lord, You know everything! You know that I love You.”

    “Feed My sheep,” Jesus said.

    Christ is truly God

    Exodus 14:19
And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

Was this Jesus in your opinion?

Could very well have been Jesus. But Paul could also be talking about Moses, another Christ of God. After all, he points out that they were all “baptized into Moses”.

    Hi MB,
    You say

“And, if you CAN read it in the Greek text, will you admit that Jesus was the ANGEL OF God who was COMMANDED by his God to go before the Israelites? “

So where is Jesus said to have been an angel-any witnesses?
When was he said to be THE angel of God-any witnesses?

I think you will find you have left the path of truth

The Spirit was with them but they were not anointed with or baptised in it.
They drank from the Spirit but God was not pleased with them all and many died.
The prophets too ministered from the Spirit of Christ in them and it got them murdered
The Jewish people drank too from the fountain that was Jesus but it did most of them no good.

    Matthew 13:12
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Read in that scripture that it is Jesus.  (And I mean the GREEK TEXT, not one of your cheesy, altered translations.)

And, if you CAN read it in the Greek text, will you admit that Jesus was the ANGEL OF God who was COMMANDED by his God to go before the Israelites?

Satan was suggesting that Jesus tempt God by doing something stupid and then expecting God to save him because of what is written about him.

    Nick,

This comment is representative of how you do things on HN.  It is the reason many here would rather just ignore you than talk to you.

Can you please show me the post where I made a “SURE” claim that Paul spoke of either Jesus or Moses?

If you cannot, then I'll expect a retraction and an apology.

In the mean time, I will be mostly ignoring your posts.  You rarely offer anything scriptural to discuss anyway.
