Quote (Is 1:18 @ Mar. 26 2006,19:45)I was really only interested in Seekingtruth's thoughts on this matter, but thanks for your input Sultan. I do note though that you didn't actually offer any solid answers to my questions, only objections.I gave you my thoughts right above Sultans post and asked a question of my own. If your looking for more…[Read more]

Quote (sandra @ Mar. 26 2006,17:38)My questions, both related to three days?  My first question, Jesus preached in the synagogue on the Sabbath Day, as did Paul, thus making the Sabbath Day, Saturday, would it not? Or did the Lord change the Sabbath Day, even though that is one of the ten commandments?  The other question, Jesus in one gospel L…[Read more]

But isn't God Spirit?JOHN 4:24″God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit…[Read more]

I cannot take credit even for any humility I might have. God in his mercy has given me a small revelation of who He is and what I am. Knowing this, only in part, is enough to keep things in perspective. All that I have and what I am is from God, the only thing I can even take partial credit in was my choice to accept and follow Him (and He was the…[Read more]

Quote (truebelief4u @ Mar. 25 2006,21:05)Could it be that there are two things those who participate in these forums should do?1.  Do some SERIOUS textual research.  You might just be surprised at what you learn.2.  Try just letting the Bible say what it says and let it go at that, instead of trying to put an “interpretative spin” on it.I agree wi…[Read more]

One last thing, sometimes I feel embarassed to include my mutterings with so many well written, fully documented, and easily understood, posts, but I do believe that this is all part of God's plan to bring the different parts of His body together with their different gifts. Sometimes there is wisdom even in a child.

Just to clarify by “excess burden” I refer to those like me who are less then brillant (down right dense by some accounts) and begin to feel that gaining knowledge is a “work” we must perform to be saved. Yet I lack the capabilities of many of you to learn from reading, it is the revelations from God (not the big future seeing type, but the small…[Read more]

At times as I read through these posts it seems that some are saying that unless you have all truth you cannot be saved (of course it's usually their version of it). We're all at various levels of truth and I agree with T8 we will learn for all eternity. I further believe that we will still never fully comprehend God. It requires just a little bit…[Read more]

Hi SammoFrom a quick read of the last couple of pages I would have to agree with you that God has not forsaken Israel. The best scripture I know for that is Romans 11. I did not see it listed but it was a quick read. 25I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening…[Read more]

We are told to not forsake the assembly of ourselves together. To a small extent I believe we fulfill this by coming together on this site but I still believe we should come together with other believers within our town. So even though I do not fully agree with any of the “churches” in my area, I still attend weekly.I usually do not jump to…[Read more]
