Quote (kerwin @ Feb. 20 2013,10:30)There is also a book of Giants in the Dead Sea Scrolls.I would love to read that. I will google it.The Bible talks quite a bit about giants/nephilim. A subject that is not really taught in mainstream Christianity.

We first learn about Enoch in Genesis 5 but it leaves us with questions. Hebrews 11 has the answers and Jude quotes Enoch! How did Jude come to know the words of Enoch? Certainly not oral tradition. The most likely answer is The Book of Enoch. This book is not only quoted by Jude either, but also James the natural brother of Jesus. The quote in…[Read more]

“Irenaeus could still interpret MK. Xiii, 32 in the following manner: the Son confessed not to know that which only the Father knew; hence ‘ we learn from himself that the Father is over all’, as he who is greater also than the Son. But the Nicene theologians had now suddenly to deny that Jesus could have said such a thing about the Son. In the l…[Read more]

Irenaeus (ca. 185 A.D)But if the Word of the Father who descended is the same also that ascended, he, namely, the only-begotten Son of the Only God, who, according to the good pleasure of the Father, became flesh for the sake of men.(Book I, 9).These have all declared to us that there is One God, Creator of heaven and earth, announced by the law…[Read more]

Quote (Lightenup @ Mar. 19 2013,17:52)This 'article theology' argument falls flat on its back for two reasons:1. It is inconsistent since there are two other verses in John 1 alone that have the word 'God' in them but NO ARTICLE and they refer to God who is unseen.2. The article is not there in order to indicate that 'God' is not the subject of…[Read more]

I will delete them if a large majority want them gone. For me there is no delay with any browser, however, I don't have an old browser for testing either. The connection I use is not that great either. The suburb I live in got UltraFast Broadband last year, except half of the street that I live on. Likely will be implemented this year and Heaven…[Read more]

I guess you never saw the doco or didn't pick up the fact that most believe that he was into Alchemy to understand what things were made up of. Further we might call someone an angel if they are very good, or a devil if they are bad. This is not used to say that someone is a false angel or a false good person.See that?
