Kathi, I don't have access to he Greek Text of Ignatius, and I likely do not have the time to dissect his text even if I had. However, I have already covered both sides of the coin in a previous post and neither is saying that Jesus is the Most High God. And I have further proof which you have obviously overlooked in your zeal to prove you are the…[Read more]

It should have read, 3) That Judas had the character or nature of the DevilI was trying to convey that he had some of the Devil's qualities in that option. It was not my intention…[Read more]

If Jesus did not know the day nor the hour that means even he did not know everything. Thus only God knows all things.Whatever we know has been released to us in some way.

Also ask yourself, if being brought forth in eternity means that you existed in all eternity?

Quote (Lightenup @ Mar. 25 2013,17:47)Ignatius in other writings calls the Son, the eternal Word. Do you believe that the Son was the eternal Word, t8?Kathi, I am not sure what sense he was saying this because I would have to see the context. But for now, ask yourself, “do you have eternal life?”.

Quote (Lightenup @ Mar. 24 2013,07:53)t8,It seems to me, before this post of yours, you were making a case that said only the first man created and known as 'Adam' would be 'the adam' and nobody else. Quote (Colter @ Mar. 25 2013,12:51)Jesus also has “sheep not of this fold”, other inhabited worlds under his creatorship. 10,000,000 under his authority. They were able to watch his life in the flesh while on earth through a special broadcast. They also received his gospel.Any idea what channel that was on. Can we pick up that channel on Earth?

Good post Mike.Although I know that 'theos' and 'divine' are different words, I use it to help the reader understand what is meant. Rather than saying it is God himself, it is saying it is like God or derived from his nature. I think of it like this.Man is flesh.God is divine. The Man has flesh nature. The God has god nature or divine nature. So when…[Read more]
