David, we observe everyday, consciousness creating things, ideas, tangible products, cyberspace, AI, code, communication, etc. Never have we observed, life come from non-life.All scientists need to do is make a dead body alive, and that will no longer be true. And for that life to be new, and not the same life that existed in that body before…[Read more]

Quote (david @ Feb. 22 2012,16:10)Hi t8Are those three options the only three options?1. God2. Nothing3. Something eternal but non-personal. wouldn't a non believer say: “how did god get here?”. And then, wouldn't they ask: “does the universe necessarily need to have had a beginning?”We know our observable universe does seem to have a definite…[Read more]

Quote (david @ July 23 2013,15:38)If by “bananas” you mean modern banana's, then I would say and I would think you would know that bananas had a lot of help from humans. You wouldn't really recognize a banana from a few thousand years ago. It's similar with how it's almost impossible to find a watermelon with seeds in it these days. 10 years ag…[Read more]

Regarding the expanding Earth theory. The planet could have been in a state of inflation and contracted so that the land covered the water. Then the next inflation led to cracks in the land where the covered waters of the deep spouted forth. I think it says somewhere in scripture that in the time of the flood, the land started to break apart. Not…[Read more]

I think the biggest concern is they are happening in the Cook Strait, so there could be a tsunami if a 7.5 or bigger strikes. Good thing about Wellington though is you can usually head upward quite fast due to all the hills. But a Tsunami from there would strike in a matter of minutes, so no time to be complacent. Apart from a few days ago, most…[Read more]

The earthquake affected the CBD and part of the Hutt Valley, but where I live didn't get any damage. I am just glad I don't work in the city anymore. I feel safe here. And even though my house rocked and rolled. I knew Wellington would be 2 or 3 times worse.

When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church. 1Co 14:27 If anyone speaks in a tongue, two—or at the most three—should speak, one…[Read more]

The eternal Universe Theory (Eternal Something Non-Living Theory) requires belief in the following:That life came from non-life.That the Universe can self-organise even though it possess no consciousness. That it is limited to 4 dimensions, when we know mathematically that there are many more higher dimensions. That it continues to maintain order,…[Read more]

Parliament Building is damaged.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-23394409 Call it a coincidence, but Parliament enacted the Gay Marriage Bill not long ago, and now the Tower of Babel is damaged. Some people will say, “told you so”. What do you think. A coincidence? I am curious to hear what you think.

Quote (seekingtruth @ July 21 2013,17:02)I heard recently that there were an avg of 42 major earthquakes in every decade since 1900. But there were Over 400 in 2011 alone.Yeah that sounds about right. New Zealand gets about 20 significant quakes each year which probably amounts to 42 major quakes each decade.
