Quote (mikeboll64 @ Aug. 28 2013,16:15)I was looking for personal NAMES of three different gods that are described and detailed in scripture.Save me the trouble and mention them for me.I know that YHWH is literally a god. He is the God. The only true God.Are these others you speak of Gods/gods or are they actually angels, men, sons? Or what?

Quote (mikeboll64 @ Aug. 28 2013,16:15)Thirdly, there are many instances where just ONE god is called “god” in scripture.Okay. I know that Eve is man, but is she a man?I know that Judas was called devil, but was he really a devil or was he likened to the Devil qualitatively speaking? These gods you speak of as singular gods or a god, are they…[Read more]

Quote (mikeboll64 @ Aug. 28 2013,16:15)Secondly, if a group of elohim/theos are correctly called “gods”, then what is just one of that group correctly called?Of those who are called theos or elohim, where is any single one of them called theos or elohim?Singularly, they are called angel, pharisee, judge, and perhaps other terms, but they are not…[Read more]

Quote (mikeboll64 @ Aug. 28 2013,16:15)Okay, since the term “false god” doesn't exist in any Hebrew or Greek scripture, let's not use it as if it truly describes any god mentioned in scripture.Exodus 20:3You shall have no other gods before me.This is what I mean by false god. Idols, spirits, things that come before God.

Your defense against the scriptures is no defense at all.And being seduced by doctrine of demons happens to people who are wayward in their heart. If a person seeks for the truth and remains humble in their search, they will find the truth. You have rejected the scriptures, but more importantly, you have rejected the gospel.Until such point you…[Read more]

Think about it. If the Trinity Doctrine was pagan, then it would be one of the most important subjects for the Church. And there is only one way to find out and that is to check the scriptures to see if the doctrine lines up.Remember that the doctrine was added some 300 years later and has now become the foundation of the Christian faith. However,…[Read more]

From 1 John-5:7The first published Greek NT was edited in 1516 by Catholic priest, scholar, and humanist Erasmus in 1516. This edition did not include the disputed words. A revised edition in 1519 also did not include these words. Erasmus was severely criticised by other Catholic priests for not including in Greek these words which were well-known…[Read more]

Jesus is the son of that God and the messiah. He was made both Lord and Christ by God.Jesus God is the Father. The Father is also our God.We agree with Paul when he said, “For us there is one God the Father and one Lord the Lord Jesus Christ”.We agree with Jesus when he said, “This is eternal life, that you may know the only true God, AND Jesus…[Read more]

At this stage I am imagining Ed J trying to come up with a way to get out of this.Perhaps he is even contemplating saying that he made a mistake. But he might be battling pride with regards to that.I pray that God would help him see that the greatest in the Kingdom of God are humble like children and not right in their own minds at all costs. When…[Read more]

Yes there is a lot to look at here. For now, I would like to say that there are quite a lot of scriptures that demonstrate that Jesus existed before coming in flesh. Many are direct quotes and others are indirect in that they require that he was with the Father in the beginning. This is the biggest problem I have with the view that Jesus is but a…[Read more]

I often tell anti Trinitarians they should just rewrite the Bible and fix all of its missleadings. Not that the Bible books haven't been redacted a number of times already and for the same reasons. Face the music Ed J. Can you admit you are wrong here.Or is pride too strong to overcome. This is a test for you.Dodging the question makes it worse. According to the Book of Enoch, they are the Nephilim who were drowned in the great flood. People think they are fallen angels, but I am not sure that scripture says this anywhere. Could be though.

Any false god, Satan is the god of this age, and the counsel of God.The first two are literally in the place of God and so are also called THEOS with the descriptive false or of the age or something of that nature. Clearly not the God of all things. The latter is a term that seems to be applied to a collective rather than anyone individual. “Ye are…[Read more]
