Jesus is the son of that God and the messiah. He was made both Lord and Christ by God.Jesus God is the Father. The Father is also our God.We agree with Paul when he said, “For us there is one God the Father and one Lord the Lord Jesus Christ”.We agree with Jesus when he said, “This is eternal life, that you may know the only true God, AND Jesus…[Read more]

At this stage I am imagining Ed J trying to come up with a way to get out of this.Perhaps he is even contemplating saying that he made a mistake. But he might be battling pride with regards to that.I pray that God would help him see that the greatest in the Kingdom of God are humble like children and not right in their own minds at all costs. When…[Read more]

Yes there is a lot to look at here. For now, I would like to say that there are quite a lot of scriptures that demonstrate that Jesus existed before coming in flesh. Many are direct quotes and others are indirect in that they require that he was with the Father in the beginning. This is the biggest problem I have with the view that Jesus is but a…[Read more]

Quote (Colter @ Aug. 28 2013,01:05)Sounds like Jesus needed a translator, he mislead sooooo many people.
I often tell anti Trinitarians they should just rewrite the Bible and fix all of its missleadings. Not that the Bible books haven't been redacted a number of times already and for the same reasons. ColterLet's see you back this up with a verse…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Urantia Trinity in the forum Other Faiths 13 years ago

Face the music Ed J. Can you admit you are wrong here.Or is pride too strong to overcome. This is a test for you.Dodging the question makes it worse. But I admit that there is a certain entertainment factor to see how far you will go to keep up the projected appearance of an infallible man. Can a man who believes that he is mentioned in scripture…[Read more]

According to the Book of Enoch, they are the Nephilim who were drowned in the great flood. People think they are fallen angels, but I am not sure that scripture says this anywhere. Could be though.

Any false god, Satan is the god of this age, and the counsel of God.The first two are literally in the place of God and so are also called THEOS with the descriptive false or of the age or something of that nature. Clearly not the God of all things. The latter is a term that seems to be applied to a collective rather than anyone individual. “Ye are…[Read more]

Quote (Colter @ Aug. 26 2013,12:48)Plenty of people understand the philosophical aproach that the revelators of the UB took in explaining the sharing and lovable nature of the pre-personal, infinite I AM. Jesus revealed it in his teaching, its in the gospels. Billions of deciples of Jesus can see what is so plainly written. Something in your head…[Read more]

Of course I can say that. But in Greek no one is ever called a theos. They are collectively called theos by reason of being part of the counsel of God, but is there even one mention of a Pharisee being called a god anywhere. Why not if they were part of the counsel of God as sitting on the seat of Moses?Of course there is no indefinite article,…[Read more]

The thing is, no one else goes around saying that they existed in the form of God. Yes we are made in the image of God and we can partake in divine nature, but Jesus is the image of God.Are you the image of God?

Ha, just looked at my last sentence.Quote And as the day draws closer, may we all have less spots and blemishes. I wonder if a thousand years from now someone will say I was teaching that we should have blemishes. I see this sort of misinterpretation today from Trinitarians who move around commas to make Jesus God for example.

Quote (mikeboll64 @ Aug. 27 2013,12:58)Agreed. The only real problem is that people cannot distinguish the God and a god.Similarly, if there is one Devil and then we say that Judas is a devil, now we have two devils, not one.But there is only one who is the Devil. Thus, saying that there is another devil can be misconstrued as there being 2 Devils. Now we have polydevilism. So if there is…[Read more]
