This topic is about the existence of a god. It is not about who that God is.
Most of mankind acknowledge a god of some kind, they argue over who he is or what he is like.
The Bible concurs with this.
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood…[Read more]

Haggai 1:13
13 Then Haggai, the LORD’s messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people: “I am with you,” declares the LORD.Thus the prophet Haggai was called God’s messenger (angel). Further, “Malachi” is not a real name, but means “messenger” or “angel”.
Malachi 3:1

Nick without going into the original language we are told that Hell is thrown into the Lake of Fire. Thus the holding place for the dead cannot destroy the soul, but the Second Death is likely where this happens. The wicked will suffer the Second Death.
Unless you think the reverse, the soul is killed first and then resurrected to suffer being…[Read more]

By using the term “active living force”, I pretty much meant the same thing as you then said, but you said it better: the manifestation of God in his creation.
I do want to point out that the Greek words translated “holy spirit” are neuter. This means that it’s not a “person” of some kind of trinity. It isn’t quite an “it” either, since it is…

The Trinity has been hotly debate for over a decade in these forums, but the Trinitarians have basically ran off. There are still a couple who visit from time to time, and we hear the same old arguments from them, but so far they have not been able to explain the scriptures we give them. When it comes down to it, they say we use logic…[Read more]

I want to bump this post to the front, so I can read and reply to it maybe tomorrow.
I apologize for taking so long to come here. I keep myself quite busy throughout the day, and honestly I forgot about this until just now.
I would first like to point out that Jesus’ divinity is something that has been debated since before the Catholic Church ha…

Yes I remember you from another eon. Hope all is good and it is good to hear from you again. I pray and hope you are in good standing in God.
So we are back to this topic. I mostly agree with you regarding gods and angels as they have wider meanings than most realise.
This is where it is for me.
Yes Jesus is ‘angel’ in the sense…[Read more]

T8,
Did you misspeak when you said “I worship Jesus as the son of God”?
I know the AV of the KJV uses worship in reference to Jesus and King David but unless the meaning of the word has changed over time that is a mistaken translation.
I also know your English is slightly different than mine as I live in a different country.
Here is what I am…[Read more]
