Hours and days
John 9:4
As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work.
Another day for Mike and Dig to explain. What was the date for this one?
Romans 13:11
And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 7 years, 11 months ago
Time to front up
Mike said:- When a day in scripture is qualified as having an evening and a morning, is it more likely than not that it refers to a regular day? YES or NO?
- When days in scripture are accompanied by numbers, such as “the first day”, “the second day”, “the third day”, etc, is it more likely than not that they refer to regular…

One of the biggest complaints about pictures of the globe earth is the fact that they are usually photoshopped. However, not all photoshopped images are fake, some are more accurate. I am a photographer and I might look at a beautiful sunset with deep reds and oranges, but the photo doesn’t quite capture its magnificence. A little photoshop can…[Read more]

Usually we don’t see it this way, because the air acts as a lens. So as the sun shrinks due to perspective, the atmosphere magnifies it, and so it usually appears to remain the same size as its setting. But if you are in a cool, dry climate, you’ll see it shrink as it moves away.
T8 also said that if the earth was flat, we’d be able to zoom a…

Explain why the Heliocentric model just happens to make their circuits as simple orbits.
Just a huge coincidence given that the Heliocentric model is supposedly not true?
Find that hard to believe you wouldn’t even question that. A truth seeker would question that for sure.
And if you really believe the flower petal orbits, explain how that…[Read more]

Geocentric model
Look how complicated the circuits are.Heliocentric model
Now look what happens when you assume the wandering stars and Earth orbit the Sun.
Simplicity. Explain that? A coincidence that everything looks so regular and obvious?BOOM!

Faith is the evidence of things not seen. This is often personal and incudes things like revelation, vision from God, answer to prayer etc.
I am not so sure that faith is meant to convince others or non-believers. They have to seek their own evidence.
I had a vision of Paradise and the River of Life. I cannot deny the reality of God and Heaven.…[Read more]

Let’s see the math Mike
Ah, so when Jesus said that heaven and the throne of God are up, he must have been speaking “spiritually”, or “metaphorically”, huh?
So what is this up and down force called if gravity doesn’t exist?
Uppydowny? Show me the math and the 100% correct predictions using it. I bet it is you who cannot prove your explana…[Read more]

Yes God is outside of time. So why does he observe a 24 hour day before the sun is supposedly created. Lol.

The Flat Earth Endgame
Seriously, how many people do not believe in God because the Earth is a sphere. I don’t know anyone. But how many people will not believe in God if Christians insist the Bible teaches a Flat Earth?
Tell you what, that could end up being millions of souls. This is the end game you are aiming at Dig and Mike. You may not…[Read more]

The supposed Strawman argument accusation exposed
T8, all you have done is created a strawman argument. When the word day is used the context must be taken into account, as I have repeatedly said. However, when it is said that there was evening and morning one day, what does this tell you about the context? Be honest.
Strawman argument? You didn’t…[Read more]

Jesus came in the flesh. The Word became flesh. The Word was WITH God. God made all through his Word. God made all through his son. It is written. We cannot pretend it is not written.

Not verified in this topic. But I think the FEers have an answer to this. The second light (moon) appears like that on a FE too. So a person looking at the moon on one side sees a different orientation to someone on the other side of the moon. However, yes there is probably a problem because a person in South America shouldn’t see the moon at all…[Read more]

The Dig Rule Part II
1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and t…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 7 years, 11 months ago
The Dig Rule
T8 said: “Not my theory at all. I believe 7 stages which could have been 7 minutes or 7 million years. It doesn’t give us the exact unit.”

And you guys call me the wack job.
I don’t call you a wackjob, but yes my view is I think you are wacky with some things, particularly the Flat Earth.
That picture you posted is a misrepresentation. Gravity starts from the centre and moves out. The universe doesn’t have an up so to speak or a force of gravity that means you can jump off the edge…[Read more]

But let’s run with your theory. Is 7,000 years enough time for a an atmosphere to develop and then for the sun to appear thru the atmosphere? How long would it take for just the atmosphere to develop?
Not my theory at all. I believe 7 stages which could have been 7 minutes or 7 million years. It doesn’t give us the exact unit.

There could well be an end time alien delusion.
Could also be because of the Islamic end time eschatological view where the real Jesus from the bible is thought to be Al-Masih ad-Dajjal in Islam thought.

Creation days
T8, how many days did God command for us to work before taking one day off? And more importantly, what was the reason that Jehovah Himself gave for this commandment?
The Earth has reflections or images of heaven. We are God’s image. Eden and the rivers were like Paradise and the river of life. That river of life is spirit, but all…[Read more]
