The variable of refraction
Yes, nobody denies that refraction is a real thing, and that it is caused by moisture in the air. Keep that in mind the next time you think we should be able to see across the entire flat earth, because that moisture not only distorts light, but prohibits you from seeing unlimited distances. Consider the diffused…

It disproves the heliocentric model that says the earth is what causes the shadows on the moon by coming between the sun and the moon.
Or you do not understand the science. Pretty sure if what you said was true, this would have been discovered ages ago.
Yes. My explanation is that the moon is its own light. It doesn’t rely on the sun to i…

Gotta run an errand Mike.
But quickly, when what we say is the Earth’s shadow cast on the moon, what is that curved shadow on the moon in the Flat Earth model?

Double standard & cherry picking shows weakness in argument
Mike: Does scripture actually say anywhere that the sun “sets” or “rises”? I haven’t done an exhaustive investigation, but I just checked the Hebrew and Greek on about 20 verses that are translated in English as “sunrise” or “sunset”, and the Hebrew and Greek words mean things like “pass…

False signs, wonders, and real refraction
An alien city spacecraft or is it refraction or a mirage?
I think the latter given that choice. If we deny atmospheric refraction, then it must be aliens, perhaps a dimensional rift in the space time continuum, or a hologram?
Or maybe the video was fake as the…[Read more]

It ain’t over till you go over the curve
It’s over guys!
What is that? Scotland yes judging by the map. And you can see that some of the land is hidden. So this with refraction could produce this result, and judging by WTF reaction, I would take a guess that you do not see this everyday. So an anomaly explained by r…[Read more]

Pay close attention to this video.
What do you think? Where is the curvature?I got this with an earth curve calculator:
- Results ignoring refraction
- Horizon = 3 Miles (15838 Feet)
- Bulge = 7.04 Feet (84.52 Inches)
- Drop = 28.17 Feet (338.09 Inches)
- Hidden= 8.17 Feet (98.05 Inches)
- Horizon Dip = 0.043 Degre…

If it quacks like a duck
T8, look at your pictures, the glass, the straw, the duck and the truck. Do they look natural or are they obviously distorted?
They look natural with some distortion. Not too dissimilar to looking at a boat on or slightly over the horizon to be honest. The duck is half cut off and the pencil or pen is a little fatter. If…[Read more]

So the eclipse doesn’t prove either model. And this eclipse doesn’t disprove either model. So whatever we say about this eclipse we need to apply the judgement to both models. So this one video negates the existence of the globe earth and flat earth. Got it now. Maybe there is no earth, meaning quantum physics is closer to the truth.
How about we…[Read more]

Mike, this perplexed me somewhat.
How does the topsy turvy eclipse work on a flat earth. Globe Earthers say eclipses prove the earth is not flat, period.
While you argue that some eclipses disprove the globe, then how do they prove the flat earth. If they don’t prove a flat earth at all, then it would seem strange to use this as one of the main…[Read more]

Hi Mike.
You indirectly claim to have a better understanding of eclipses than me, so I have a question that I would like answered.
If you are in a location that experiences a Blood Moon, then how does it appear to a person that experiences a partial eclipse who is to the north and likewise to another person who is south of the full blood…[Read more]

Partial eclipses
Mike, I don’t know much about eclipses, but my point which may be naive was to say that at a certain location on a certain hour of a certain day, you can view a blood red moon. I saw one a few years back. So my idea was a simple one. If you moved north of the eclipse so that you viewed a partial eclipse, then how would that look?…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 7 years, 11 months ago
Nothing to see here folks
Flights like that Mike are two flights designed to fill each plane up with passengers. Not enough demand for direct flights obviously. Done flights like this many times. Lots of people disembark at the first stop and heaps of new people embark.Further, try running some of these flights on a globe and they ain’t as…[Read more]

T8: “Why do you do it then with regard to sunset and sunrise. In both models the sun doesn’t literally rise and set. Both models explain it as perspective from the viewer. A little common sense goes a long way.”
And this is a point in your favor, how?
Because it refutes your point that our view of the sun circuit etc is wrong because we argue…[Read more]

You are correct that we take exception to you and others that do not take the creation event literally when the language is meant to be that way.

If that didn’t come out right let me state it another way; If the distances are confirmed on a plane earth map then would they be correct on a globe map? I’m not sure but I kind of doubt it.
Try to pay attention to what I am actually saying.
- Flat Earthers have been debunking flight paths for some time.
- A Flat Earther proves the flight pat…

Now look at the skyline of Chicargo, does it look distorted? No it doesn’t because it is an actual visual representation of the buildings! We know this because Rob Skiba chartered a boat and filmed the entire trip a…

Here is another comment in that video and I agree with it wholeheartedly.I had a lot of respect for your body of work as a whole until this flat earth stuff. Give it up rob. It’s not correct, I’m sorry it’s not. And further more it is destroying any validity any of your other work may have had.

The problem with accusing Globe Earthers of using heliocentric perspective to explain the sunrise and sunset
Mike and Dig have accused us as being wrong because we do not take a literal stance on the creation event. Rather we say the days were not necessarily 24 hours and the sun appeared in the firmament but could have been part of the heavens…[Read more]- Load More
