Yes, God is in the business of saving souls as the soul can be destroyed. But the spirit goes back to God who gave it.

Are you suggesting that gravity is hiding the curve?
No. The distance is too great to notice and the distance between the road and the centre of the Earth is the same. Flat Earthers seem to think that going over the curve means you would be nearly upside down in Australia and you would notice the curve as you head down under. They also think…[Read more]

In 90 miles, according to the globe earth model there should be over a mile of curvature. There was only 270 feet! That is a huge discrepancy! You have said the math is legitimate. Where is the curve?
Sorry, are you talking about the video? I only watched the last 3 or 4 minutes of it. The question doesn’t make sense to me. Not sure how much…[Read more]

“Too long to long to notice a curve”? Wouldn’t the curve be more pronounced the longer the road is?
No.

The guy in the video Dig says: “explain to me how I am missing the curvature of the Earth”.
That flat road in Australia is too long to notice a curve. Of course you see some undulation because that is within the scale that we can notice. And he should do well to note that the distance from the road to the centre of the Earth is about the same…[Read more]

DIG SAID: “T8, are you now saying that the earth curve calculator is a valid way to test the curve? I ask because we have a lot of proof that contradicts the globe and I was wondering why you didn’t comment on our evidence (mountains of evidence) when we did present it in the past. Since you feel confident to use it as evidence I will now as…

Yes or no.
This is not a rocky sphere with crater formed by smaller rocks flying through space. Instead, it is an actual light like a star or like our sun?

Mike: In the last 475 years, how has mankind been able to determine (“ascertain or establish exactly” – as opposed to “assume” or “mathematically describe”) that the earth is a spinning ball orbiting the sun and hurtling through space at millions of miles an hour?
Okay, I’m just going to rattle off what I know, so my explanation might b…[Read more]

Mike: Do you know the difference between “assume” and “determine”? YES or NO?
Honestly, no. I would have to google that. Off the cuff, I think ‘assume’ is a logical guess and ‘determine’ is trying to find out something.

Our Messiah strictly from ancient times / eternity / everlasting
“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.”“But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Too little to be among the clans of Judah…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 7 years, 10 months ago
Reminded me a bit of the Mt Ruapehu photo supposedly proving the Flat Earth.
Enjoy!

Yes, I know what it means. But it is written that the messiah was born in Bethlehem. He was born that day as the messiah, the Lord, and the son of God. That is what the text says. Nick, you let your mind get in the way. Let scripture be true, then you will believe the truth. Changing it to fit you dogma is wrong.

Well you guys, that was a spectacular display of obfuscation. When asked a simple sincere question about the pillars of the earth no one answered it. Would y’all care to try again or is it too damaging for your side?
A good friend can be a pillar of strength. So they must be made if concrete then right?
Here are some pillars. They come in all si…[Read more]

Considerably less than that and now even lesser. Of course longer flights are considerably greater in number now and so not hard to accept many more high altitude planes are flying, especially in your country. Further,…[Read more]

NO, it is impossible to know either the shape or the size of the earth using two shadows.
And the point of the question was to establish that the first claim almost every globe earther makes (“intelligent people have known the earth is round for over 2000 years”) is founded on a fallacy; and those people are only parroting crap they learned fro…Proclaimer replied to the topic Flat Earth Debate: Mike Vs. You know Mike, I remember years ago hearing a sermon about people who fall for cults and the like. The speaker pointed out that the chances were, the person at first had a strange feeling about what they were hearing, but became convinced over time. I believe that feeling is the Spirit of Truth and over time, that spirit is being ignored or…[Read more]

Great. Thank you for answering. And now you can see that the average person also relies on the weight of evidence for the round earth. The sheer weight of evidence that is not experienced by either yourself or me is that Madagascar exists on a globe earth despite either of us ever being to Madagascar or space. If not, then we are talking about a…[Read more]
