“Show me how the Flat earth model creates an eclipse?”
Please show me a video or a gif of how an eclipse happens in the Flat Earth model.
Then explain how it fits the math. The Globe Earth model can demonstrate this. If the Flat Earth model cannot, then it is a failed model.

- Not sure there was any one time. Evidence accumulation led to it probably.
- I understand your point, but it fails. The Globe Earth model visualises the predictions of eclipses in the future (and past) with 100% logical accuracy while the Flat Earth model cannot make one demonstrable visual prediction. That is, you cannot demonstrate it…

Mike, I noticed that your new favourite word is “obfuscation”. But in reality we are not doing that. What we are really are people who believe the earth is a globe and that denying all the evidence is paranoia. Because this subject matters little to us, when you ask questions about airplanes visible at 230 miles or whatever it is, it means nothing…[Read more]

I remember these other theories too, but Islam was not really spoken of from what I can remember at least.
While it is a significant religion and many today think it will play a definite role in the end times, I think it is fair to say that most do not know where to place it. Of course, what I wrote is only a theory.

Hi TC,
Let the Spirit in scripture speak and listen.
You are far too keen to show us your understandings of individual verses.
But you are not the light that has come into the world so your opinions of scripture verses add nothing useful to truth.
This is good advice Nick. Have you thought about adhering to it regarding this scripture?
Today…[Read more]

Yes, I think it would be possible to type that out. This looks like a line that is already typed out, thus he probably needed to say this once in every interview, so he could have just picked it out among a list of other popular replies with the flick of an eyelash or something.

Nobody explicitly told me Stephen Hawking carried on spontaneous conversations via his machine.
LOL. So you are having this conversation with yourself then. I never considered Hawking. I just believed that he was communicating using technology and he is. Never considered how it might work and obviously without even ayong anything, there would…[Read more]

They told me he could carry on spontaneous communication through his high tech Intel machine, and I just blindly believed he could.
Who told you that?
And doesn’t he have that to some degree even if he only types out 15% of it? I type in website addresses all the time into my browser, but get prompted and do not have to complete it. I still…[Read more]

Mike, did you ever wonder why the Trinitarians we debated with were so dismissive of clear evidence? Now you know. Ask yourself why it is that you just write off massive amounts of evidence for a globe earth and you will have your answer as to why Trinitarians also throw away a massive amount of evidence.

It is well noted that you think flat earth is silly and to be ridiculed. But your opinions stem from your indoctrination, not personally observable evidence, or even rational theory. And since your opinions basically amount to, “Ha Ha! You guys are stupid”, they’re not really worth the bandwidth it takes to post them.
It comes from a huge body…[Read more]

Could you please just answer my question in an honest, direct, and succinct manner? Thanks.
I do not believe that pillars are suppose to ever mean literal physical pillars holding up the physical land just as I do not believe that the Roman Empire trampled the whole Earth even though it is written using those words. This is because words…[Read more]

You are correct that he has to be like God if he came from God. He has divine nature for sure, and we both agree that he emptied himself and came in the flesh and lived as a human.
I will address your other points soon. Got some errands to run.

I believe scripture not the other way round.
I do not believe that scripture agrees with me, rather that it is my mission to agree with scripture. If my view is in conflict with scripture, then it is me that needs to change, not scripture.
Can you say the same about yourself?
Proclaimer replied to the topic Gullibility Test in the forum View Points 8 years ago
I agree LU. There is nothing to see here.

Since the beginning of this discussion, I haven’t edged any closer to believing the earth is flat. The evidence seems poor and it requires that you throw out anything to the contrary which is a mountain of evidence. Of course, like anything there will always be things that are hard to explain, but that is never proof of anything, but that is the…[Read more]

Mike. most of your points about the earth being too small form the moon and comments regarding scale are moot because camera lenses can be wide angle to zoom. I love taking photos myself and you use the lens that captures all of the subject you want captured. So if I had the opportunity to photograph the earth from the moon, I would pull out a…[Read more]

I saw the ISS about a year or two ago.
In winter, the sky can be very clear and I have spotted many satellites. They are like stars but move very fast as you probably know. They are usually gone in minutes. One night I looked up and saw a huge light. It wasn’t nearly as big as the moon, but certainly say 5 or 10 times bigger than a star, but it…[Read more]

According to the Bible, The Second Death doesn’t allow anyone to be tormented in Hell for eternity as some think. It is written clearly in scripture that Hell is thrown into the Lake of Fire and the heavens and earth too. Then behold, there is a new earth and heavens and no more sin. God is good and only the righteous inherit eternal life. Some p…[Read more]
