It’s no secret that a vacuum is not some kind of force, it is just mostly nothing. And what do we observe when there is nothing, we’ll something fills the void. And if a vacuum is next to a vacuum then still nothing. Now put air pressure next do it and create an opening between the two and the something will fill the nothing.
By logical…[Read more]

You are free to choose because God made it that way from the beginning. He placed two trees in the garden and both were compelling and beautiful.
And are we not constantly reminded to CHOOSE this day who we will serve. We can either be led by the Spirit or fulfill the lusts of the flesh. We can serve God or money. We can feed the hungry or not…[Read more]

I Gene.
As usual, we are not on the same page.
These are kingdoms of the world and the stone that strikes the statue is the Kingdom of God.

Yes God predestined for the Elect.
I imagine he also predestined that at some point his son would need to lay his life down. After all, it is inevitable that an age would rebel against God at some point. God is not ignorant. He gave free will to his beings, so he obviously had a plan since the foundation of the world to deal with that when it…[Read more]

Yes I do see that there will be suffering for the wicked, but we are told about a second death which seems to be a final death. It is this that makes one realise that God will not permit souls to suffer for all eternity. There will be an end to suffering and sin and a new creation will arise where these things will be no more.

What is clear is God spared man from living for all eternity by blocking access to the Tree of Life. And God will save our souls but not all souls will be saved. As for annihilation , we see some verses that speak along that line.
“For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall no…[Read more]

The Ordinary Brigade never quote the verses I gave because they contradict. They only quote them when they have been asked for an explanation, and the explanation given is a denial of what the scripture says. So yes, you guys cherry pick rather than take the full counsel of scripture and learn from them all. The true picture that appears from all…[Read more]

Such thinking should start at home first. Once you know the Spirit you will have love for your fellow man. From there, you will be useful to God and will be able to give the correct word to others. Satan the Accuser lacks this and so do his children. There is correction in love and there is endless criticism and accusation. Do not be confused,…[Read more]

Your own understanding is at play here. Yes we know that God is spirit and the Father of spirits and that angels are spirits. Saying that the Word is the Spirit of God is stretching too far toward your own understanding because it doesn’t say that at least not in the verse you bring up.

We are told the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and then we are told that the son is back in the glory he had with the Father before the cosmos. We are told God created all things through the Word and through the Son. Then we notice that it is written that when he returns, he has a name, the Word of God. Draw your own conclusion.

It doesn’t say The Word was The God.

God is invisible, but we see his glory.

False again. Maybe try something different Nick. Are you musical. Teaching requires understanding and correcting someone requires understanding what the person is actually saying. Otherwise you are heaping falsities that you will require to account for.

He emptied himself. He started life as we do. As a baby having to learn his way as he got older.

First off, I won’t think any less of you if we differ on this, secondly, I just see lot’s of scriptures that teach destruction of the wicked and believe it.
Yes hell, hades, grave, ghennia can be confusing, but the central point on eternal judgement as one of the foundational doctrines is clearly taught in scripture. And it makes sense because…[Read more]

The vacuum of space is not powerful at all. It is not an actual sucking force of some kind. It is just empty so to speak, so anything that is full will rush into it if it comes in contact. If you have water on one side of of a container and it is empty on the other side with a wall separating both, then the water will fill that space once the wall…[Read more]

The context of every man here is every man that builds on the foundation which is Jesus Christ.
By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone bui…[Read more]

Anthony, I wouldn’t say that God would never come up with a plan to save the wicked, after all he came up with a plan to save those that would repent and turn to him even though we fall short of his glory and with the knowledge that the soul that sins will die. If we just took that one verse, then no one would be saved. However, annihilation of…[Read more]
