Hi TC,
On his return towards earth the Lord Jesus will waken and call his brothers and sisters to meet with him in the air where they will enjoy the wedding feast. Meanwhile the earth and the remaining inhabitants will be suffering through the great tribulation, the wrath of God.

Hi. TC,
Jodi has not lied.
Like all of us she suffers partial blindness.

Hi Anthony,
Why do you join with those who show contempt for the ways of God?
Jn 3.16
For God so loved the world , that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in him should not perish , but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world should be saved through him.

Hi Anthony,
Even those who have been rescued by being baptised into the death of Jesus must watch their steps.
Heb 10
For if we go on sinning wilfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth,
there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain terrifying expectation of judgement,
and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.

Hi Anthony,
Some fanciful theories are around that claim all will be saved.
Such silly ideas make light of the ransom paid by our lord Jesus Christ.
See to it that you do not refuse Him Who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less shall we escape who turn away from Him Who warns from…[Read more]

Hi Jodi,
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob died, as did David.
All are yet alive to God because the faithful Spirit of eternal life abides in them and will raise them.

Hi Anthony,
Yes. All are resurrected.
Every behaviour of every man is recorded and faces examination.
Heb 9.27
And inasmuch, as is appointed for men to die once, and after this comes judgement .

Hi Dig4,
Have you not yet discerned that what calls itself the church has no relationship with the Body of Christ?
Have you not yet realised that the wolves have been effective since the time of the apostles?
Have you yet to see the division, the evil, the falsity that is hidden in the whore?
The way is narrow and few choose it.

Hi Anthony,
The letters of the apostles are not written to the world but to the ones who have the obeyed the call of God to be rescued.
He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life,
but the wrath of God abides in him.
jn 3.36

Hi Anthony,
Those who reject the offer of salvation in the Son can expect the lake of fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
Repent and be reborn into the Son by water and the Spirit while there is time.

Hi Anthony,
Is God faithful? yes.
Does He forget His children who die?
No. But all are not His children. Walk in the light and with care.

Hi Dig4,
So you infer that because Jesus was conceived of God by the Holy Spirit
he had the Spirit indwelling him from conception ?
Is this how you find truth?
No it shows the tenuous relationship between tradition and scripture.

Hi T8,
Yes you have some confidence that your understanding of scripture must be infallibly correct.
But we are warned against private interpretation.
NickHassan replied to the topic The Ordinary Jesus Brigade in the forum Truth or Tradition 6 years, 2 months ago
Hi Anthony,
Indeed.
God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself. 2cor 5.
Did you not know that God was in the prophets and apostles as well by His Spirit?
Because God uses these vessels for His purposes does not make any of these servants God does it?

Hi Jodi,
God is not IN the lost.
But He is close to all men.Acts 17

Hi Anthony,
Time is short. Men live once and then they die.
Then comes to judgement, unless you have passed over from death to life.
Judgement is of mercy and according to the works of men towards the reborn brothers of Jesus Christ.
Those who fail the test meet the second death.

Hi Anthony,
The apostles did miracles, raised the dead and Peter walked on water and you accept that they were ordinary men.
Why can you not accept that the anointed Jesus also did these things by the power of the Spirit?
He did none of these things before the Spirit rested on him at the Jordan did he?
Why do you prefer to worship man…[Read more]

Hi TC,
Yes. And do you have any scriptures that say the embryo or the infant was already anointed?
Why deny the Spirit coming onto him at the Jordan?
Tradition rules?
NickHassan replied to the topic The Ordinary Jesus Brigade in the forum Truth or Tradition 6 years, 2 months ago
Hi T8,
No question that if scripture is not spiritual your literal interpretations could never be wrong.
But it is, and you are.
NickHassan replied to the topic The Ordinary Jesus Brigade in the forum Truth or Tradition 6 years, 2 months ago
Hi Dig4,
The flesh of Jesus was exactly like ours.
He was born of woman, born under the Jewish law.
He proved that the law was life, and obedience to it cleansed a man.
Do you not value the efforts God made to save you?
There is no other option for gentiles but to obey the command to be born again.
