Why oppose the trinity doctrine?

Because it is not of God. It denies our God and His Son. It tries to divide our God from His Spirit.

It is a doctrine of demons begotten in the fertile imaginations of the lost.

A foolish insult to the God of heaven and earth

What John the Baptist and the NT writers witnessed to was the Holy Spirit coming down on Jesus of Nazareth.

But without witnesses you are prepared to state that he was somehow anointed previously?

One verse does not make a doctrine.

Is 51.16 could have several meanings that do not include man.

So prove your personal idea by finding  what you think it means written elsewhere.

You are not trying to sow seeds of doubt in the Holy word of God are you?

You are not saying the many denominations are related to poor translations are you?

But you are right in that it is reliance on man’s wisdom and not God’s that is the real problem.
