Quote (Nick Hassan @ Mar. 11 2012,16:08)Hi,Just because The Word is Jesus Christ in Rev 19 is not a justification for saying Jesus is the Word in Jn 1.And what is your justification for saying it is not Jesus? There are many scriptures that explain our position, and none that I know of that explain yours.

Pierre, In verse 18, it is the word “elohim”, and should be translated as “a god”. She was basically seeing a spirit being, IMO.

I think Gene is the only person in existence that doesn't understand that angels are ministering SPIRITS. Gene, don't fool yourself. This thread has ALWAYS been about whether SPIRITS, such as the angels, Jesus, and God, have bodies. What did you think the “How about God?” part of the title is about?
It has ALWAYS been about SPIRIT BEINGS li…[Read more]mikeboll64 replied to the topic Do spirits have bodies? in the forum Truth or Tradition 14 years, 7 months ago

I wonder what they make of the title “God of gods”? Or “God Most High”. Or “God Almighty”.I wonder what they think about verses such as the following:Psalm 82:1God stands in the assembly of gods; in the midst of the gods he renders judgment.Perhaps they think Jehovah congregates with golden calves.

I have read it carefully. I have studied it hard. Most likely much harder than you ever will.jammin, do you know of any son in the existence of the world that wasn't brought into existence by his father?
