So, Irene, when Georg says “You're too much” what exactly is that supposed to mean?

Hi Mandy and Irene,Thanks Mandy for your encouraging words.Irene, I have believed that the Son was the firstborn of all creation for the past 16 years. I have tried to make that clear. Sorry but I don't know why you wouldn't know that. You don't believe that He was literally the “firstborn” you believe that He was the first-adopted and…[Read more]

Keith and Thinker,You both wrote this apparently that literally the verse should use this word order:Quote John 1:1; “…the Word was with God, and God was the Word”.As far as I learned of the Greek grammar, if two words within a clause are both written in the nominative case, the one with the definite article takes precedence as the subject which…[Read more]

Thinker,You seem to gloss over that I believe that the Son has the same divine nature as the Father which I believe came by reproduction since He is called the Son of GOD. I believe that makes Him, the Son, God to us also along with the Father but at the same time not always existent as the Father alone is which obviously makes the Son not equal…[Read more]

Hi t8,i would agree with a lot of that too. The Father is GOD without the Son but the Son is not God apart from the Father. IMO I do think that the Father is not a “saving” GOD apart from the Son as in saving us from eternal separation from Him but He (the Father) is GOD apart from the Son. The Father and the Son are both necessary for our…[Read more]

Hi Nick,I understand about the “omni's” being presumptions. I do believe that the Most High GOD, if not technically omniscient, He would know everything that was possible, more than any other. He knows the most:) Also, He is the most powerful, and can be wherever He wants to be. LU

Hi Irene,I study mainly with the NASB but I often compare several versions and then do a word study if I think one version is saying a different thing than another one. Many Greek manuscripts have been discovered and more knowledge has been gained since the writings in the KJ Bible. The Holy Spirit is required for gaining understanding. I have…[Read more]

Hi Keith,I think that you have abilities confused with nature. Nature is something that can be passed on by means of reproduction. Therefore, the nature that you see in the Son is also the nature of the Father. Satan is a liar by nature, God is truth by nature. I believe that the nature of GOD and the Son could simply be the fullness of truth…[Read more]

Thanks t8,Good stuff…it encourages my faith. I got a power point presentation in my email today regarding proof of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. I don't know how to get it on here.
