I would never say 'YHWH' our Gods is one substance' in regards to the shema.YHWH our Elohim is YHWH Echad, the eternal unity. The emphasis is on being eternal and being a unity, not on a substance.Furthermore, why are you taking my 'English' words and 'translating' them? They are already in English. You are trying to paraphrase them and you are…[Read more]

t8,I do not believe that YHWH is defined as a substance or essence. It seems to be more about an eternal existence.

t8,I would not say one YHWH 'substancce' or much of the other stuff you said. The Son was begotten at one point in time and before that, He was within the Father. He is not begotten over and over if that is what you are implying. The Father, Son, nd Spirit are one YHWH Echad, one eternal unity.

t8, the scripture doesn't say Jesus became a son that day, it just says He was begotten/brought forth that day. Were your sons you 'son' before they were born/begotten? Weren't they sons already for months before they were actually born?
Lightenup replied to the topic The divider of Christians in the forum Truth or Tradition 13 years, 6 months ago
The word 'son' is related to that verse. 'Thou art my Son, today I have begotten you.” This is correct.

Quote (t8 @ Nov. 01 2012,03:34)Does today mean eternity?”Today I have become your father.”t8,Technically the verse in Hebrews and Psalms that you refer to does not have the word 'Father' in it. The correct translation is “Today I have begotten you.” A dad is already a father before the child is brought forth if the child is within. This is the…[Read more]

Hi Bo,I understand what you are saying but I can use the same verses to show YHWH is a unity and back it up with the NT and all those verses that were in that video. Look at Isaiah 43:10 with the understanding that the LORD (YHWH) is the God of gods (the Father) and the Lord of lords (the Son):Isaiah 43:10Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD , and…[Read more]

Bo, At least watch the 4th video, please. YHWH is not only the only true God but also the only true Lord and Jesus is that Lord. YHWH is two powers. The 4th video makes this clear. Please just watch that one…it is based on scripture in the OT and the NT and shows what the first century Jews were conscious of…two powers of YHWH.
