Quote (t8 @ Nov. 06 2012,20:51)Well let's see LU.Bearing in mind that scripture calls men/judges, angels, theos”, then you could answer this question yourself. If we take both thrones, those that are seated are the Father, Son, and Sons. Therefore all are theos if we use that word in the scriptural sense that it is applied in scripture. But if your…[Read more]

Quote (mikeboll64 @ Nov. 06 2012,21:48)Quote (Lightenup @ Nov. 01 2012,21:08)……….if Jesus is a literal son of God, that would make Him the same type as the Father…the God type.Yet in the other thread, although you and jammin also DESCRIBE “God” as a SPECIES in Phil 2:6, you both DENY and REJECT the word “species”?Why? Bo,you said about vs. 1, 2 and 3:Quote This could not pertain to Jesus he was WILDLY popular and everyone was drawn to him, in-fact it was one of the reasons the authorities wanted to kill him and charged him with sedition.Vs. 2 speaks about appearance. He was not popular because of His looks and physique but because of His love, wisdom and…[Read more]

Two powers of YHWH does not break the commandment. This was a common understanding amongst the Jews of the first century according to the canonical literature as well as the non-canonical literature. If there is one power with another that is the exact representation of the first, then we have two powers that are equal. This is not hard.

So t8,You admit that there are two that are called theos who share the throne of the Father…Now answer the next question which I will ask for the second time:How can an exact reproduction of something be a prototype?

Quote He is theos in the sense that angels and men can be theos. Of course much more than us because he is so much better than the angels and among the sons, he is the prototype. Nevertheless, my point is that he is not the Most High and Only True Theos.I didn't ask how many Most High and only True theos were seated on the Father's throne. I…[Read more]

Furthermore, Bo, Jesus did not, at any time, claim or give the Father any glory for sparing Him the death of the cross after the crucifixion and resurrection. He has let people believe and write that He did in fact die and rise again…that He purchased the church with HIS blood. Wouldn't that be dishonorable of Him and an abomination to lie at…[Read more]

Bo,We aren't told why she didn't recognize Him, maybe she didn't look intently, maybe she was teary and couldn't see clearly. It didn't take her long before she did recognize Him.
