Mike asked:Quote That answer does not even address my question, Kathi. Why is Jesus so often listed as someone OTHER THAN Jehovah, our one and only God? In other words, we all have but ONE God, Jehovah. Jesus also has this ONE God as his own God, right? So why is Jesus so often clearly listed in scripture as someone OTHER THAN our ONE God? You should also worship Him as the theos of theos. Agreed?
Lightenup replied to the topic Proclaimer vs Lightenup in the forum Debates 13 years, 3 months ago
So, t8, since theos can apply to Jesus Christ, according to Hebrews 1, all the angels should worship the theos-Jesus, the Firstborn. So when you worship Jesus as the Lamb of theos and the Son of theos, you should also worship Him as the theos of theos. Agreed?

Bo,The two angels of Gen 18 appeared as men and ate food. We aren't told about these bodies that appeared as men and could eat. Apparently angelic beings can appear as men and act as men yet still be angels. They are supernatural beings with abilities to transform their appearances. There was no mention that they took over already existing…[Read more]

Hi Bo,I am happy that you love Christ, no matter if he is the literal son or not. At least you are not dogmatically against the idea.Regarding blood needed in order to eat…well, in Gen 18, the three 'men' (one was listed as being YHWH, two were angels) ate what Abraham had served. So that negates what you said about needing blood in your body in…[Read more]
