    Bo,Being saved from dying isn't the same as being saved from death.The scripture is not a mistake. Jesus flesh died but after three days…no longer dead. :)Jesus was tempted to avoid the cup yet did not give in to that temptation. Jesus was tempted yet without sin.

    Good post Keith!We know that Jehovah would have us NOT invoke the name of 'another god' or bow down to another 'god' and we also certainly know that Jesus is a theos whose name is invoked and who is bowed down to. Either Jesus is Jehovah also in some manner, or He is another god like Mike and t8 talk about.

    Keith,An investigation into the power of demons would be insightful here. If they can do supernatural type of things and be within people or influence people, the people themselves can appear like gods when the demon is working in a supernatural way through them.
