    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    Now the Lord (kurios 2962) is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.
    2cor 3.17
    And he has a new body to dwell in that we will see on his return.

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    There are many many more verses like it.
    Gal 2.20, Gal 4.19
    None could be true unless Jesus Christ is now spirit.

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    Christ in you, the hope of glory. Coll 1.27
    You tell us Jesus Christ still has his original body.
    So how do you read this verse?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    Your view has always been that the flesh body is INSEPARABLE from the person.
    Hebrews proves that this is not true of Jesus Christ .

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    The high priest, Jesus Christ, presented his earthly body as the sacrifice.
    The Lamb of God.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    The high priest, the lamb of God took his old flesh body as a sacrifice for us. Address the scriptures before giving your opinion.
    By this will we have been sanctified through the offering of the BODY OF JESUS CHRIST, once for all.
    But a BOdy Thou hast prepared for me.
    This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both…[Read more]

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    Yes God allows the testing of men by agents.
    That does not deny the existence of those agents.

    His Flesh was presented to God

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    Jesus is the High Priest(h 3.1, h4.14,h4.10,h6.20,,h 7.24h 8.1) entered the heavenly temple ( h9.24, h10.10, h 10.20) through the tearing of his flesh. and his blessings day was presented by the High priest for our sin. So why do you teach he still is in that sacrificialf flesh offered to God?
    H= hebrews

    • Profile picture of GeneBalthrop

      Because, he arose in his flesh body, and asended with it, to the temple of GOD and takes h I s seat beside GOD IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, UNTIL he returns and sets up the kingdom of God on this earth. A scripture and Jesus clearly say.

      Peace and love to you and yours. ……..gene

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene,
    Yes Jesus visited the spirit in prison alive in the Spirit.
    But as High Priest he presented his old body as a sacrifice in the heavenly temple.
    So like us he is changed.

    Rev 20.2,

    @genebalthrop Hi Gene. I took a look at your profile picture. I assume you are the guy in the middle. The person to the left has flat feet. Does he use orthotics? I think he should if not. 🙂

      T8….Yes I am the guy in the middle, those are two of my son in laws beside me. I don’t know if Cris has flat feet or not, I will ask him .

    • Profile picture of Proclaimer

      I have one of the worst cases of flat feet. I had to give up playing sport at 11 years old which was a real shame. I represented my region in soccer. I am 53 years old now and got a Podiatrist to make me up some custom orthotics at age 50 as my feet were causing me much pain. The problem was solved. I was able to start playing sport again at age…[Read more]

    T8….Jesus was an ordinary man saved by GOD the Father. BY not seening that only shows your deception. IMO

    peace and love to you and yours. …….gene

    @genebalthrop

    Good news Gene. He was without sin. Jesus came to save sinners. He didn’t save himself.

    God saved him from death because he died for sinners. He took our burden upon himself.

    Do you plan on changing body type after you die and go on to everlasting life? Specifically, you have an earthly body now, are you hoping to have a heavenly body someday which is different than the one you have now? If so, how will it be different?

    God in the fullest sense is a unity of two divine beings. One is not just divine but also became man. He cannot be limited by what is limited to someone who is just man or who is just God.

    If He were just man, then His death couldn’t not take away the sins of another man according to scripture. If He was just God, He couldn’t…[Read more]

    Third time asking this with NO answer.

    Please answer the questions I have been asking. Who is identified in the OT  as the Lord of the Sabbath and the Lord of all?

    Exodus 31:13 “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your gene…[Read more]
