Hi Nick,
Of course Jesus’ birth mother’s lineage goes back to David.
But the point Jesus is making appears to be escaping you, which is:
He himself is “the spirit of Christ” – which Micah 5:2 is clear about.Your view appears to be in conflict with Jesus’ words in Luke 20:41-44.

Hi Ed,
2 Peter 3.16
No Paul mentioned that men can have their own spirit as well as the Holy Spirit.
Rom 8
Just as Jesus did till his own left him at calvary
OK Nick,

“WE will come unto him, and make OUR abode with him.” (John 14:23)Who is the “WE” if not…

Hi Nick, and Kerwin, and Gene, and anyone else in the Brigade,

David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The LORD

Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.David therefore calleth him(Christ) Lord,

Hi Kerwin,
And why is Jesus denying his lineage back to David? (– which is his mother Mary’s lineage)
Because He is obviously declaring that He himself is “the Spirit of Christ”That is what makes him “The Son of God”
God: …………….. HolySpirit (Father of Spirits) “she was found with child of the HolySpirit” (Matt 1:18)

Hi Kerwin,
Here is why you cannot or at least shouldn’t consider that the Prophet
Micah instead of He meant only the prophecy came from eternity.
The first hint of this prophecy is first mentioned in Gen.3:15,
so that hardly goes all the way back to eternity past. Here is the part you seem to keep missing > > >

Hi ED,
You have previously pointed to the folly of the JW one verse and false interpretation problem.
The words of scripture are pure truth but frequently misunderstood -as Peter spoke of Paul’s words
Hi Nick,
You mean like when Paul says that Jesus was a man,
what he means is: his spirit was not “the spirit of Christ”?I thought you said y…[Read more]
